Hell yes, cilantro is awesome. I'm not that picky about food. Which is not to say I'm overweight from eating too much cilantro and lettuce, there just isn't much I turn down. American cheese though, because gross.

@mamasoup030‌ I make a knock off version of Chipotle's rice.

@Sing2phins My favorite seafood restaurant has a blackened salmon Alfredo with cilantro cream sauce and it's to die for. When you eventually find yourself visiting in SoCal we will do lunch!
  • @UntaggableKatie‌ My G-Ma hasn't lived in Nebraska for umpteen years and is still a huge CH fan.

    @MotherEFFingKatie‌ I feel ya.

@guiltypleasures‌ I am so stealing emptyfuckbucket.

I like discussing current events, it gets me out of my hole. Unfortunately, staying abreast of current events is not my forte anymore (I can barely keep up on the weather), so I don't often participate. That said, I also usually use my internet time as my down time, so even if I am informed, I may not respond cause I don't want to get worked up.

My UO? Seeing Sinny in the anywhere chair made me want one! @cagoldi‌ J/K. But, if Sinny likes it, that makes it cool, right?

Yes. He is the future Mayor of Brea, after all.

Ooh I have a UO. It probably won't cause a stir but I'll throw it down. I despise those booties that are on trend this year. Like hate them immensely and think they look fugly and should die in a big fire. I don't know why I have such a strong opinion about them but I do.

No exceptions to this one either. Like I hate baby bows but have seen a few babies look cute with them. But these ankle booties absolutely not! Rant over.

    I agree.
  • Or the perceived length?

Depends. Like the black ones I wear with black knit tights with a sweater dress and belted waist, so in that case, no. The hot pink pair, I think the open toe helps a little.

    I would wear the gray.
  • Gag. @Sing2phins‌ and @cagoldi‌ all that cilantro talk just ruined my appetite for dessert.

Not! Peppermint Oreos here I come

JFC I now have seen a pic of a different N13 mom with her kid in the front seat of the car. RF, but still, what if that air bag deploys?

Swear to God friending people from this board is going to give me fucking heart failure. This is stressful.

And yes, I already commented on the photo.

if you're talking about the one that came up on my news feed that you commented on, that is a news story not a pic of an N13 baby.

No. It's a pic attributed to her with a comment about what the baby is chewing on at the time, which appears to be a small squeegee or something.
  • @trtlcrzy Ok, same one. I take it back. That EasilyDo app I use for FB doesn't show it as a newsfeed.
  • When Pete drives I always sit in back with A.

This is us, too. MH almost always drives when we're out together & I always end up in the back with the boy. Unless he falls asleep .. which is never.
  • Am I a bad mom for not sitting with LO when DH drives? I mean, I did for the ride home the hospital and all, but since then? But he usually does ok with car rides.

No way! I kind of feel like a bad wife for always sitting in back. I just did when he was really young to offer a bottle or keep him calm, and I still like it now that he can feed himself or sip from his cup. We hold hands, we make silly faces. It's just time I enjoy spending with him. Unless he's screaming, in which case I wind up thinking, fuck this. Over it. Until we get in the car as a family the next time and I get into the back seat again.

Same here... my friends make fun of me for it.. but whatevs... I'd rather be back there in case the binky gets lost or something

I never sit in the back. Like, ever. The last time I did, he was coming home from the hospital.

    +1
I didn't even sit in the back on the way home from the hospital...moty
  • I only sit in the back if it's a long drive (3+ hours) and she is awake. Otherwise - she's better behaved with her mirror and bunny. My friend sat in the back because she said her daughter couldn't tolerate it, I made fun of her, she tried not sitting back there for 2 weeks, now her little girl is happy either way.

    Team front seat over hurr.
