LO is super fussy tonight. She's fighting sleep and gassy. Our current situation...she is in the swing and I'm in front or her. Whenever she starts to cry, I race to put a drop of gripe water in her mouth before she can actually start. We lead such an adventurous life, ladies!!
I hate everyone who gave us baby clothes. No we do not need short sleeve preemie onesies. We have three pairs of long sleeve footie pajamas and they are all covered in poop and pee right now. Then dad spilled brownie batter on my favorite nightgown. I have nothing to change her into!
Parker and I just made out like high school love birds... It was great. I'm lame.
Beckham has been asleep for almost 4 hours and of course I'm wide awake. He also has been asleep for 2 hours in his bassinet. He's on his tummy and still alive! Woohoo.
In 2 and half hours, Beckham will officially be 1 month old! What??? Stop growing!!
@mommymeg143 hope your baby falls asleep soon. I went through super fussy last night...i put her on her tummy across my lap and gave her a back rub, it seemed to help for a little. I'm sure you've tried everything but just wanted to throw that out there.
Took a pain pill before I fed Talon about an hour ago thinking by the time we're done it'll kick in and I'll sleep awesome, lay him down when we are done and he takes a poop. Sooo here I am nursing him again trying to keep my eyes open @-)
Thank you, @ssstephanie214. I've tried everything. I think her gas drops and gripe water are kicking in now because she is just laying there looking around with big eyes. I'm hoping once she goes to sleep she will sleep a long time!! She's been awake for 5 hours straight now. I'm on E!! @-) (:|
Just got DS down to sleep. I cannot believe he is 1 month today! I may AW some 1 month pics later. He is now 10 lbs 7 oz. I will soon be building up some serious new mommy arm muscles at this rate.

Dh & I just tried putting our LO in a newborn sleeper and it was WAAAY too small. He fit perfectly into a 3 month sleeper (he turned 1 month on wed). Aaaah my little cherub is getting so big!!! I have a bagful of newborn clothes he never got to wear.
At least you got him to wear newborn clothes at all! I won't get to use any. My man is a chunker at 3 days old
She is STILL awake!!! I got her to sleep a few minutes ago and her paci fell out, my mom (who is staying the night since DH is out of town) decided she needed it and tried to put it back in her mouth and BAM she's wide awake again. Ugh FML!! We are going on hour 6 now. Is this real life? I didn't think newborns could stay awake for this long of a stretch.
@NinerGirl52 DD is too long for her newborn stuff I've now have a drawer full of clothes I didn't dress her in. Her 3 month stuff is long enough but big around.

This is DS too. In the last week or so the newborn stuff became too short but a lot of the 0-3 stuff is too wide. The 0-3 sleepers are good, but all of the separates are still too big.
I'm up nursing. Do you ever wake up to phantom cries? I swear I hear phantom cries all day long.
Add me to the baby never getting to wear newborn group. I didn't buy much in NB size thankfully but I did have one cute fleece set I got on clearance. Still trying to decide if I want to hang onto them in case it could work for the next baby or donate them. Also wondering if I'll ever fit my old bras again... I had a newer one I picked up for our belated honeymoon last November that I LOVED.
Has anyone tried Little Remidies gas drops? Has their LO has explosive poops when on it? I just started giving it and Maddie had three blowouts this afternoon/this evening. Not sure if it's a coincidence or if it's the drops?

I'm using it now. My lo has crazy big poops anyway so I'm not much help. But she did poop minutes after getting for the first time.
My LO is in newborn clothing and I'm afraid I don't have enough! I bought her some cute Christmas outfits in 0-3 but am afraid she'll be too small for them.
If they are general neutral we should switch the Xmas outfits
@AnnieRoo13 yes on the phantom cries! I've even gone into LO's room thinking I heard cries on the monitor only to find him sleeping soundly.
I was having a shower yesterday while Brooke and DH snuggled on the couch. I heard crying so I rushed to get out assuming she was hungry. She was sound asleep when I came out and DH swears she was never crying.
@heisenberg the first two weeks I had to make sure I went to the bathroom every hour when I was awake even if I didn't feel like I had to. Otherwise I would pee my pants. It gets better! One time family was over and I had to quickly excuse myself before anyone would notice what was happening!
LO hates going to sleep at a normal time I swear. She can be dead asleep and the minute I lay her in that crib all hell breaks loose. DH finally got her down at 2:30am and I just finished the 5am feeding. Pumping now then hopefully a few more hours sleep.
Well I think LO is sick. I have some kind of cold/sinus crap which I figured wasn't contagious (assumed it was allergies turned sinus infection) but she has been wheezing all night and has all kinds of gross stuff coming out of her nose. My poor baby. Guess we will be calling the pediatrician when they open.
Remember how I said Isaac was sleeping? Well that lasted all of 20 min. He has been up since then eating every half hour. I had to mix some breastmilk with formula because I am tapped out. Maybe a growth spurt? He has never been this fussy. I am so tired and can't have caffeine because of the strict diet. I am hoping this mix does the trick and I can get at least 2 hours.

It's so interesting to me that some of you weren't in newborn sizes for very long. Brooke was 9lb 6 oz and at 12 days old she's still in newborn sized sleepers. But she is such a skinny baby. No rolls or fat anywhere. She's just a big long babe.

My LO was 9 lb 10 oz at birth and never wore newborn. Right now the Carters brand 0-3 month fits him perfectly.

She was swimming in the 0-3 month carters stuff!! I think this weekend at 2 weeks we'll transition to it but she still fits really well in it. How long was your LO?
DD slept from 9:30pm till 4:00am, then from 4:45am till 8:45am last night. She has been doing one 4-5hr stretch per night for about a week now but 6.5hes was awesome. I went to bed at 10 and got 6 straight hours myself!
She is 4wks tomorrow and gaining weight like a champ so I am embracing the long sleeping stretches but am a little worried about how it will affect my supply. She only eats off one side per feeding so it was over 10hrs till she got back to the side she last took before bed. Wondering if I should pump the side she isn't eating off when we are up for overnight feed?
I just want to say that I am wearing a real bra, not a pumping bra with freaking holes for nipples, for the first time in 3 weeks and I feel like a new woman! Of course I'll have to put the pumping bra back on after my doctor appointment, but this is great!
DD has gone over 48 hours without pooping, I know this is can happen but how long before I worry. Since its Friday I called her Dr. to see how long before I worry and if there is anything I can do at the worry point if it falls over the weekend when they are closed.

My LO was 7.6lbs and 21in long at birth and she is almost 3 weeks old and STILL in newborn. I have a closet full of 0-3 and can't wear any of it. She's 7.13lbs now (dropped to 6.12 two days after birth)..I literally have 4 outfits to rotate with right now.

It's twin girls!! Born on 11-2-14!

Also 3 hours in, I've officially decided I need a wrap carrier for around the house.
