I'm glad that you're going to get to see your OB tonight. Fx for you!
ETA: I posted before your last update. I'm so glad to hear that the baby is doing well. I hope your cerclage goes smoothly. Fx that you can get back to somewhat of a normal life in a couple weeks.
So glad you have a happy "everything's going to be okay" ending to your day. This was scary as a thread and I can only imagine how horribly frightening it was to go through. Get some much deserved R&R and thoughts and prayers for the rest of your pregnancy.
J'15 January Signature Challenge: Pinterest Fail: I want to do one, but I was late in starting and now I'm too lazy to get in on it. This is how most of my pinterest fails normally occur, at least I didnt buy supplies.

So glad to read that your baby is okay! Now the road ahead is for you to take care of yourself and rest. Sounds like your OB is a wonderful and competent dr. --so sorry about your bad experience with ER.
Well still scary but good to know. I had a LEEP procedure about 5 years ago due to cancerous cells and all had been well since then. I will be here over night and my OB is going to be putting in a cervical stitch due to cervical incompetence. It will stay there until 37 weeks but I've been upgraded to high risk and am going to be out for the count for about 2 weeks due to the procedure. Baby is fine-dr. couldn't understand why they thought heartbeat was weak due to the fact he was stating we were at about 165 strong since I've been monitored tonight. Baby was even wiggling around in there on screen. I'm so impressed with my OB and their promptness in figuring this all out. Again I am so happy to have all of you guys! I don't have many close friends who have experienced pregnancy as I am the first out of the group of my friends, so it's so nice to have people who are going through the same thing and genuinely care :-)
So glad to hear baby is still ok! A friend of mine has been going through this issue with the LEEP. Her doc recommended a second procedure and she fought them on it because she's going to be TTC next year. She's worried about this very thing, apparently it's more common than most think. She switched docs and is opting out of the surgery. Sounds like you are in good hands and baby will be well taken care of!
I'm sorry you had to go through that - sounds like a total nightmare (I want to kick the ER doc in the shins for you!) but hooray on a solid heartbeat! Hopefully it will be smooth sailing from here on out!

Sounds like you have a great OB! So glad you got to hear the heartbeat and now have an action plan!
I had the procedure early this morning and am now resting. Bed rest for a few days and pelvic rest for 2 weeks (which I feel like my husband will never touch me again anyway after this, even after being reassured the sexy time didn't cause anything!). Thank you guys again for all of your love and support! You are the best! I'm hoping the next months are happy and healthy for all of us!
I'm sorry you had such a scary couple of days, but am SO GLAD that everything looks to be ok. It sounds like you have a great OB who took such prompt care of you and that you got such a good look at the baby. I hope you heal well and that the rest of your pregnancy is happy and healthy!
So I responded to the original post but I missed all the updates in the middle. Thank God they got you in so soon! What a relief that everything is all right after all. That's scary about the ER, sheesh! But so glad that you and baby are okay. A strong heartbeat, aww that is so touching after the stupid ER doctor.
