My cousin is so fucking dumb!

Re: My cousin is so fucking dumb!

  • This post rubbed me the wrong way. Yes, we all bitch about family but we don't all call them dumb stupid heffa's.(?) because that's childish. And I can't speak for others but I like to think I have more compassion for people who make mistakes because they cannot control their impulses due I mental illness. But maybe that's because I'm a social worker. Although OP, I would think if you work in the field of mental illness you might feel the same.

And since we're discussing how smart we all are... I was in the gifted and talented program in elementary school, but by high school I was so lazy that I did no work at all and had to take remedial math when I got to college even though I scored well above average on standardized tests. I chose my major based on least amount of math credits. But tutored English. None of that means anything in life though.

    +1
  • Well, at least the part with the robot baby. I scored worse than the stoners. I think I scraped by in the end.

  • Ehhhhhhh, can someone point me to the door??? Oh, and not to get all PC but the "R" word is my hill to die on even if it was used sarcastically.

:::gets red pen and post it out:::

I was not sarcastic that's the word on the paperwork

It's hard to see the word and not cringe, but I don't doubt that is what it says on your paperwork. They don't use that terminology anymore in the DD world, though.

They are getting away from it but I still see a lot of current medical records that have the "MR" diagnosis rather than DD. I am not allowed to use it though so I have to be careful in my assessments to use an alternative diagnosis.

Okay but imagine being 15 and having all the oldest boys in school call you Heifer instead of your name because it sounds like heifer? Ugh. It was the worst. Plus gym class, so I was in stupid shorts and t-shorts.

I was tall as hell way before everyone else. I was 5'6" in 6th grade. And skinny as shit and awkward.

Anyway we all had to take ballroom dancing. My mom would only buy me one dress because I was growing so fast. It was green. All the boys were shorter than me so ballroom dancing was awkward. They called me the jolly green giant.

I have never purchased a single jolly green giant product in my adult life.

    /anecdotes @mrsbutt
I was 5'6 and taller than all the boys in 5th grade and the boys on our soccer team called me Godzilla because our jerseys were green

  • I took dance... jazz dance, which sometimes included swing dancing.

We didn't really have any guys in the class (maybe one or two max?) so girls had to pair together... I was always the guy.  Always.  Never dainty enough to be the girl. :|  My big hips and ass that stuck out were prominent and often pointed out all through childhood.
