So I'm up pumping and DH just told me that when he was feeding the dog last night, she acted like she heard something outside and our motion lights were on. We figured a skunk or something. He just let her out this morning and saw footprints in the snow. Human footprints. And he saw something laying in front of the porch. A dog biscuit. I'm not sure whether to be creeped out or not. :-S
I think I am... I cant think of a logical explanation other than maybe someone's dog got away and they were trying to lure it back by chasing it down and throwing it dog biscuits?

Definitely creeped out for you.. as in it gave me a chill and goosebumps.. go away footprints!
@MrsSinner402 I'd be having security cameras installed all over the place! That has me freaked out for you. Which reminds me, I need to get back in the gun range at some point to practice my accuracy.
@MrsSinner402 Seriously creeped out. I'd be locking everything and asking neighbors to help watch my house. Did your DD sleep better last night?
@crawford411 Uggh.. I couldn't with your work schedule. I don't get along well.
I hate pumping just enough that I willingly woke up a grunting dd to feed her even though she may have kept sleeping. She had a nasty diaper anyway. She will not dream feed.
I was really looking forward to having DH home today. I've been pretty lonely since my mom left…but he informs me this morning that his boss asked him to work on a special project. This is a good opportunity for him, and he will get Thursday off instead, but it still makes me sad.

Can I love this a billion times?
@MrsSinner402 I would be totally freaked out! I would also be worried the dog biscuit was poisoned.
Speaking of creepy things, the other day ds1 was playing right outside of our bedroom. He ran in our room all of a sudden laughing and said "he's gonna get me. He's gonna tickle me." And was looking out our bedroom door like he was waiting for someone to come after him. We looked and nobody was there.
Even during these MOTN feedings when I am so tired, I still want to have more babies. This shit is rough, but so worth it!
It's my birthday, and I'm trying to decide if I shower and do my hair because I have a reason to look nice, or if I say, 'fuck it, I showered yesterday' and indulge in staying in bed an extra 15 minutes.
I'm likely going with fuck it. I can use baby wipes on my pits.
Glad I didn't read this creepy randoms thread and then try and go back to sleep. About to roll out of bed (been relaxing since lo woke up at 5:30 and I couldn't fall back asleep for a quick power nap)and get ready for work. Not sure if I even remember how!
Yesterday was my first day back to work (I'm a high school teacher). My students were on their best behavior and the day flew by. Pumping in my classroom during lunch was definitely NOT a highlight of the day, however.
Typically the twins the sleep from 10:30pm-4am, which is great, but we started trying to put them down in their cribs after the 7pm bottle and just seeing how long they'll sleep- they slept until almost midnight, then took a bottle and slept until 4am. So the question is- go back to option 1) staying up and putting them to bed around 10 and getting a big chunk of sleep? Or option 2) putting them to bed earlier and getting up in the night to feed them around midnight? Option 1 means uninterrupted sleep but fussy evening babies, plus no time to eat dinner alone.. Option 2 means an actual dinner for DH and I and the option to go to bed earlier, but we'd have to get up for that midnight feeding.

Sinner, I don't know what your neighborhood is like but we have a non-emergency line for the county cops that we can call to report suspicious activity and request patrols to roll through the neighborhood. I did that about 2 weeks ago when there was a random guy in my backyard one afternoon...
Butters looks like he's trying to get leverage to shove the baby out of his way. My orange cat was head butting the baby this morning. She thought he was annoying. I could've stopped it but I was busy laughing.
@MrsSinner402 That's creepy. IIRC, doesn't your husband hunt? If so, does he have any deer cams or know anyone that does? Those might be helpful if you don't want to go out and buy security cameras.
Mornings always suck for me because the baby is crying, the dogs are whining and wailing to go out and eat breakfast, and usually my boobs are leaking everywhere too.
This morning the lab decided to grab DS's dirty diaper I had just changed, but not yet thrown away, and tear it apart eating it in the living room.
We're home after spending over a week at the in-laws'. We left our dog with them for a winter vacation of a couple of months. I was excited about not having to vacuum every few days to get up all the dog hair. But apparently now our cat has decided that sleeping in the litter box is cool, so there's cat litter everywhere. Gross.
My husband kindly volunteered me to babysit for our friends two kids tonight for a few hours.. so, on top of our 6week old, 3year old and almost five year old, I will have their two and four year olds.. by myself, during dinner time and everyone's meltdown time.. alone.cause husband works till 8 on tues & thurs.. and my almost five year old is being an asshat today because he woke up too early and wouldn't go back to sleep.. and im stuck in my house all day because our new tv is supposed to be delivered today between 9-9. . Which is very informative.. not.. maybe im the asshat today? Gonna be a long one folks!
Happy birthdays ladys!
I already made dinner. Crockpot meals FTW! My dog decided to be disgusting and shred my maxi pad on my white throw rug. Thanks dog...you're gross. My husband's boss' wife is coming over to meet F today. They let me come along on trips a lot so I end up spending a lot of time with her. How did we get so lucky? I can hardly believe sometimes that it's His job.
I made DD cry a very unhappy cry this morning. How? I took her our of her bath when we were done because I didn't want her to get cold. She was all smiles and had a complete meltdown when she realized she was in a dry towel. I think this kiddo would kick around in her tub for hours if we let her.
Started working PT from home today. Currently in the basement with the work laptop on a laptop table, iPad in hand for bumping, and C attached to the boob. Good thing I don't need to use video chat in my job.

Realizing that I only have 23 more days until I go back to work makes me never want to put down dd. I will miss my all day snuggles and what if when she gets older she won't want to snuggle anymore?

@lrobi13 Hope your first day back goes well!

Happy Tuesday?
Alex has his shots today. Not how I pictured spending my birthday.

I plan on doing absolutely nothing today.
Good luck today @lrobi13!
I told both sets of parents months ago that we did not want an elf. My mom was disappointed.
@savagek7 Try Wal-Mart. They'll take anything back.
DH ended up not having to work today. He was disappointed, but I am happy (wife of the year over here).
