So this moty forgot to buy diapers for ds2.. he was full of pee this morning and I told him we didnt have anymore diapers and he'd have to wear a pull up.. he said "no, mama, I wear my underpants!" So hes currently wearing underwear and has pooped and peed on the potty once each! Ahhhh!! Are we potty training?! It would be so nice not to change a 40lb tanks diapers esp his adult looking poop!

Augh! I hate when people lie. So one friend cancelled plans saying they had to do something with family. I was talking to another friend who then invited me to meet up with the both of them (had plans with the one that cancelled) at the same time the first one supposedly had family plans. It's via text now I don't know how to reply to the one that invited me to come along since the first person cancelled.

OK well she just cancelled on the friend too so maybe I got upset too soon.

Guise. I just got done with DDs appt. Got her shots. My heart is broken. Seeing her scream the way she did, knowing it was because she was in pain... I picked her up and cried with her. It was so horrible.

I'm having a lot of trouble with it too and have had to eat dairy on occasion. Yesterday I ordered an egg BLT at the movies and thought for sure no dairy. Well as in was eating it in the dark I realized they buttered they toasted bread.

Over the summer there was an animal boarding facility that was run out of a family's home and apparently a dog chewed some electrical wires which caused the a/c to stop and 23 dogs ended up dying. The owners of the facility are being charged but it hasn't gone to court yet. Last night this family started advertising that they are offering to watch kids so parents can go Christmas shopping or have a date night. Wtf is wrong with people? 23 dogs died while under your care but you think people should trust you with their children???

MIL texted asking if she could take DS for a few hours to visit her friends. Am I unreasonable for not wanting her to take him anywhere? Especially not for a few hours? I offered to meet her somewhere if she wants but she hasn't responded yet.

Just dropped off a basket of chocolates and teas/coffees to the L&D staff at the hospital I delivered at. They were so sweet and appreciative. However, I do not miss that smell - brought me right back. Yikes! Now to get me on some birth control...

@MrsCunningham22‌ yay for your DD! My DD was 5 days early due to concerns of preeclampsia and she was 5 lb 14 oz...since then she has grown beautifully too! We will see what she's at during appt tomorrow, but at 6 weeks, 2 days, she was 10 1/2 lbs. I was nervous too when she was born...she had to get all these heel pricks to gauge her blood glucose levels. I'm sure your doctor is very pleased with her weight gain!

Guise I miss bumping as often as I did pre-S!! This is my first time in the randoms thread today and I still have to read it. I'm never near my computer, and hate mobile bumping. . It's so difficult to reply to lots of ppl, so I just end up love titting a lot.

Extremely tacky (I don't like the "DEALS" - if someone wants to cut you a break on price they will. Capitalizing it kills me) I love that the strolled has such specifications to meet her needs. Go buy a new stroller to log your thousands of miles.

Haven't caught up, so sorry if this has already been said, but yeah, be super creeped out. I'd be concerned that there was someone in my yard, but mostly I'd be concerned that they knew I had a dog and brought dog treats along. Honestly, I'd tell all my neighbours, lock everything down, and I would not let my dog out alone for quite a while. I would assume that someone was trying to get my dog out of the way so they could get in my house without me knowing.

No. Way. I wouldn't let MY MIL take baby for a few hours and things araren't heated for us.. heck my MIL doesnt take my boys anywhere and they're 3 & almost 5..

Gah! My skinny legged kid is 7 weeks and still hanging out in nb diapers.

DS started in 1s at the hospital. I tried NB when we got home and they were too tight around his legs.

My vag is already praying for a smaller baby next time.

I promised DH I wouldn't watch the last episodes of Sons of Anarchy without him, but today was rough and I'm throwing myself a "parenting alone is hard" pity party. (Seriously, I have so much respect for single parents, moms with military husbands, and moms with unhelpful husbands or husbands that are gone a lot. This shit is so tough. We are awesome, remind yourself of that.)

So basically I'm going to watch it tonight and have an alcoholic drink. I'm not sorry.

My MIL and I have a fantastic relationship but she wasn't alone with my kid until he was 6+ months old. And she didn't take him anywhere until he was 1yr-ish? She had a photo album of DS that she had in her pocketbook to show her friends. 

See, that's the thing. She's acting like they didn't go totally freaking crazy just last week and that by not letting her take him, I'm "causing them more pain." Really? I've known these people for 6 years and never really fit in with them but I didn't think they were THIS nuts. Losing DH has messed us all up but I don't know how to be sensitive to them while also not going crazy myself.
