@Frogger5, it's Olwyn (with Wyn as a nickname). Our other girl names are much more conventional, but H and I both have some Welsh roots and think this name is lovely!
That's lovely.
Ok we can put Isolde and Olwyn into therapy together for their weird names someday. That is, if we have girls!
Eh, as long as there's a nickname or a middle name that's relatively normal, she'll be fine. I might be tempted to call little Olwyn "Ollie" instead of "Wyn."
For a girl, Aria Jean. Jean is my best friend's middle name and for short we can say AJ. (: For a boy, Jonah David. David is my FIL's name, he passed away a couple months ago. Also, JD for short.
Boy - Lankan Neil My husband is african and I am not overly fond of many african names I have come across but it is important to give them a good name or name them after a good person. I worked with a lovely sweet african named Lankan and always loved his name and respected him greatly so my husband is on board with that and Neil is my dad and hero!
Girl - Makala Jeanne/Rose/Monique My husband's parents died when he was very little and the wonderful Aunt who raised him was Makala and the middle names are wonderful women in my life and can't decide which one I will choose.
@BchBaby5 my second choice for a girl is Alexandra Sophia (nn Lexie). I love both those names, although Sophia is trending right now. I also always liked Amy until my high school BFF (named Amy) stabbed me in the back lol
We haven't agreed yet... It's still early. But the names that I love are..
Girls Adelina Isla Audrey And I like Belle for a middle name.. If only to get dh on board with that one.
Boys Joaquin Hudson Jordy
My husband likes Jonah Sky for a boy. For a girl he isn't sure yet.
Audrey Belle is so cute! I love it! I tried talking dh into Audrey and he wouldn't bite. He said he knew an Audrey and she was a pain in the ass so apparently we can't use it lol

When I first read "traditional Welsh name" I was waiting for you to bust out with something a foot long and nary a vowel in sight! Olwyn is cute! And I love the idea of calling her Ollie!
Now that we know we are having a boy, we've decided on Ulrik as a first name (to hubby's Scandinavian roots). We will likely call him Rick or Ricky for nickname. Still working out middle names but thinking of Shephard, which is my mother's maiden name. Or Robert which was my father's first name.

We have a Lexi! We couldn't agree on a full name (I wanted Alexandra and DH wanted Alexis) so we just went with Lexi.
We are not having a great time coming up with names for #2. Maybe knowing the sex will help.
My favorites: Girl: Hallie, Leah, Laurel, Kyra or Kaitlyn Boy: Nathan, Ethan, Evan, Luke or Logan
I also saw someone post Lincoln for a boy or girl here and really liked that.

I like Logan Patrick and Emma Grace but my bf won't agree on a boys name. I like Cameron, Lucas (Luke) and Marshall.
For girl I also like emily, Grace, Mae, merida (yes I know it's from brave ) or Lily . But I'm pretty sure the first set of names is what we are gonna go with
If this is a boy we are naming him after his daddy, William John the fourth. If this is a girl, we are naming her Gabriella Rose (Gabi, Bella, Bri for short).
For a girl we are set on Emmalin(pronounced emma-lynn) Mae (emma after my bfs grandma and mae after mine.) and for a boy we are thinking Dakota James (Dakota is Not set but james is after my grandpa.)
Girl: Lainey Jane - my mothers name is Elaine and my MIL name is Mary Jane
Boy: Lunden Baker - we used to live in London and loved it and baker is my FIL middle name- and a street name in London but thats not why we chose it haha.
Can you tell my husbands last name begins with an L?! (I never changed my name when we got married.)

We're pretty certain on if it's a girl her name will be Brielle Maggielynn (Maggielynn was my bff's name) and if it's a boy we're going for Greyson Charley (Charley is H's uncle's name who recently passed). Our 4 year old is Payton Elizabeth
We actually had a quick discussion about one name (DH is impossible). Logan. It was on someone else's Christmas card who just named their DS that. I've seen it a few times here, and I know three people on fb who have a boy with the same name. I don't like the idea of having 5 boys in his class with the same name but I'm happy we agree on one boy name because I am convinced we're having a boy!
