  • Well said, @Sterling13

@scubadiva30, When my best friend (Y) told me she was pregnant at the end of Oct., it was in person at my house with DH and another couple we're very close with gathered around. I was OK for a moment or two and then I burst into tears and ran to my bedroom. Y and our other friend came up to comfort me. It was definitely embarrassing, but I couldn't help it.

@Km380 and @wellybug, yeah, I should probably spend less time on Facebook. I've already unfollowed a bunch of people who are either pregnant or post pictures of their babies non-stop. I used to be a reporter, so I'm naturally kind of nosy and addicted to social media.

  • @mellymel15 that pie looks amazing!!!  DH and I are going to his parents for Thanksgiving, but this year my parents are joining us as well.  And my sister and her husband and my brother and his GF might stop by so craziness kind of like your holiday :)

I'm making mac and cheese (what can I say, I love it!) and pumpkin cupcakes with cream cheese frosting...  Just went shopping for the goods today.

  • Hey everybody! Sorry I'm late to the party! And sorry for no individual replies. We've turned the internet off at my house, so now I'm stuck on mobile until the move. But know that I'm keeping up with all of you, and sending positive thoughts out to everybody!

AFM, I finally talked to my OB, and she confirmed that I have finally passed everything. I also got a BFN on Satuday when I tested. Which I'm relieved, because I'm not sure how I would continue to get bloodwork done after the big move. I'm also pretty sure that I O'ed a couple of days ago. I'm hoping for crosshairs after tomorrow's temp.

NTTCALR: DH signed a lease on a house up in MN. He actually moved his things in this past weekend (he was originally renting a room from a nice family). He flies home on Thanksgiving morning. Them we are going to load the U-Haul on Friday and take off Early Saturday morning! I'm so excited and scared at the same time!

This week has been crazy busy . . . but I'm catching up on everyone now.

Menrandes - did you get some fish yesterday?

Sterling13 - hope the week wasn't too busy for you getting ready for today. I find being distracted sometimes is a good thing . . .

  • @alm288 the patch is so easy! I feel fine on it too. Injections are ok so far. I'm pretty anxious about doing actual stims though since it's so many.
How are you? Do you have a thanksgiving for yourself over there?

    PgAL welcome

Glad to hear it is easy on you! I hope the stims are okay too.

No Thanksgiving here - I did have some pumpkin coffee and a pumpkin muffin today though ;) I'm doing ok - being away for the holidays is hard. We always go to my in-laws over the first advent weekend and hit up some Christmas markets, so that'll be nice.

  • @alm288 Yep!  We got new black neon tetras and three otocinclus (algae eaters) for our tank!  They are getting along well with the other fish in the tank, so that's good.
In a few weeks we are going to get some shrimp for the tank as well and potentially one or two non schooling fish.
We met in middle school. We got married 15 years later in a February blizzard of 2010.

  • Hi everyone, I am coming out of lurking on here to finally introduce myself. PCOS, EDD may4, MMC Oct 10, miso Oct 17. Have been waiting for AF since (and I think it started yesterday). I check in here frequently to see how you ladies are doing, and wanted to say that I am happy that people genuinely seem to be doing better. I can't believe am so happy at the prospect of AF.

I'm in Canada, so we've had our thanksgiving already, but I am thankful for this board. Enjoy your weekend, everyone!
