  I guess there's some level of difference, but not really to me, if that make sense?  Either way, I do not remember believing in Santa.

  
  

  There's no one in a therapy chair because of being lied to about Santa, but there's also no one in a therapy chair because their parents skipped the Santa thing.

  I felt guilty last Xmas because our dd was legitimately scared at the prospect of a strange man coming down our chimney and into our house while we were sleeping. Weird concept. This year, she's older and wiser so we'll see if she figures it out.

  My husband was terrified of Santa as a kid for the same reason. I still judge my MIL for not telling him he wasn't real. She wanted him to believe in Santa for her own sake.

  Never have I ever placed presents under the tree before the entire family goes to bed on Christmas Eve... Even though we're all over the age of 27 and Santa has graduated from our house.

  This isn't common?! Once my mom and I argued so wildly on Christmas Eve that I left the house and didn't come back for 2 days. Good times

  Ha ha I found the best family counsellor after one eventful Thanksgiving!
