  • I felt guilty last Xmas because our dd was legitimately scared at the prospect of a strange man coming down our chimney and into our house while we were sleeping. Weird concept. This year, she's older and wiser so we'll see if she figures it out.

    My husband was terrified of Santa as a kid for the same reason. I still judge my MIL for not telling him he wasn't real. She wanted him to believe in Santa for her own sake.

  • Never have I ever been involved in a family argument on Thanksgiving/ Christmas.

    The movies make this seem common.

    This isn't common?! Once my mom and I argued so wildly on Christmas Eve that I left the house and didn't come back for 2 days. Good times
    Ha ha I found the best family counsellor after one eventful Thanksgiving!
