  • I side eye everything but the alcohol and some of the fish.

  • Getting together with friends after work on a Friday night drinking cocktails..now I'm to tired after work, and miss cocktails. :((
  • I eat sushi every once in a while, couldn't live without chesse and I have a glass of red wine at least once a week. And if I feel like drinking a beer( I'm a huge beer lover) I get myself a small one. I really believe it does no harm. Happy mommy, happy baby :)
  • I miss excedrine & alcohol.

  • Advil...tylenol sucks....it does less than nothing to help with headaches. 

    Alcohol, OMG I just want a beer, please.  I wnat to hurt people when we go out for football games and everyone else is drinking.  I'd settle for 1/2 a blue moon.  Heck I just might, I just won't do it when DH is around.

  • I actually have dreams about big, cold glasses of sweet, bubbly Moscato. And PP- I too miss swordfish!!! A local steak joint here that my H loves makes amazing swordfish. I can't even go in there because of the temptation!!
  • I've had some pretty nasty panic attacks since becoming pregnant so I'm gonna say Xanax(Not for recreational use!) Because sometimes I can't talk myself out of having flashbacks/PTSD.
  • I miss beer and cold cuts!!!
  • Beer.... it's football season! What fun is that without a drink in hand?! And cold cuts... specifically on a Publix sub!

  • Wine. I gave up coffee a month before my bfp cause of troubles ttc and I really want a nice cappuccino. Also cake, I have always loved it and always have one baked for the family but now it just doesn't taste right. My brain still thinks I do as I keep baking or buying.
  • Alcohol! Mostly because after a glass or 2 of wine and I would sleep so soundly all night. 
  • Definitely wine!
  • I also miss having a clear complexion and self confidence! I never want to go anywhere now because I hate the process of caking on my make up and finding shirts to cover up this stupid acne. :(
  • I miss drinking , and seafood! And something else but I don't want to get judge. I eat seafood but not like I use too. And also miss that all my clothes use to fit :((

    Yeah I agree, I do miss ibuprofen! I seriously hate Tylenol.
    I also miss enjoying coffee. When I smell it my stomach turns. :(
  • Another add for missing ibuprofen. The only thing acetaminophen has ever helped me with (that ibuprofen won't) is a fever. Having to resort to a bath for aches and pains.

    I don't drink often, but I miss having the option of freely doing so. Love a good beer or glass of wine!

  • OK OK I miss a smoke of relaxation...I didn't mean that you girls was going to judge me. I'm just a keep everything to myself girl, and to be honest I feel like I could express myself here. Thank you girls :)
  • I miss my beer with a pickle in it :( NA beer is just not the same. Also, barefoot moscato in my large globe glasses! Ahhh Chicago Fire is just not the same unless I have that glass of wine in hand watching those firefighters !
  • I would definitely say I miss alcohol in general the most, just kicking back once In a while after a long day at work just having a beer or glass of wine ah amazing!
    I also miss not being told what not to eat and drink every day! I'm tired of being told "oh you can't eat that oh you can't drink soda blah blah" I already know that don't rub it in my face im just saying I freaking miss it...
  • I miss being able to order steak medium rare - well done steak just isn't my cup if tea unfortunately. I also miss Togo's sandwiches. I still eat deli meat but only from our grocery store I trust and only at home where I know it's fresh/been refrigerated properly...just don't want to risk it at sub shops these days! I will miss my excuse to have a 4th Meal every night around 11 o'clock though! It helps me sleep through the night and last longer the next day without nausea and is one of my favorite little perks of being pregnant haha :)
  • Like others, I miss sushi. DH and I are going to go out for sushi but I'll have to stick to vegetable maki and tempura everything. I also miss my morning coffee. I know we can have up to 200mg (some say 300mg) per day but I have been avoiding it altogether due to having a higher risk than normal of having a baby with a congenital heart defect (based on family history).

  • These posts really annoy me. I shouldn't have opened. I just want to scream "Eat the damn turkey(sushi, cheese, whatever ridiculous thing you are missing)"

    This thread made me "confess" to my husband how badly I wanted one glass of wine. He looked at me like I was an idiot and said "then let me get you a bottle and we'll have a glass tomorrow!!! One glass will not hurt anything!!"

    Serious Question- should I just have the one glass of wine already? (Let the public shaming begin. It might be all that keeps me from enjoying a glass of moscato.) and yes, I am TOTALLY seeking the advice of a group of virtual internet strangers to tell me something against what the Surgeon General clearly says NO to. But, they do it in Europe, right?! UGH! I'm so torn...
  • Wine and raw sashimi/sushi are what I miss most. I eat pretty much everything else but living in the Midwest is not the most conducive to 'fresh raw fish'. My DH and I had just gotten more into wine when I got my BFP. So we have a bunch of bottle for after I deliver!
  • @redneckmomma25‌ I'm totally with you! I eat my cheese, eat my subs, eat my runny/dippy eggs, drink my soda (within moderation) all of it. It's never made me get food poisoning or anything else so I'm sticking with it!
  • @redneckmomma25‌ I' m also with you on this one. I really believe that pregnancy is a time when you shouldn't cut yourself off of anything, just be a little bit more careful and consume everything in moderation. Enjoy eating what you love, if it feels good and doesn't make you sick, it does no harm.
  • Lox and Bagels, Sushi, and a good margarita. Why is it we crave what we can't have? I'm making my birthday dinner menu already....one week post baby's planned arrival.
  • All the food!! I have GD and want to eat ice cream and carbs 24/7.

  • Wine. I can't limit myself to a couple sips, and I'd want a whole bottle after the week that I've had. And sushi, I'm planning birthday dinner for after baby's here with all the sushi and white wine possible
  • I miss my self control. Does that count? I used to know that we had cookies in the pantry without eating them all. 
  • I miss my green tea!! :'(
  • I miss wine. My wonderful mom has been stocking up on the red blends that come out in the fall for me bc I was too sick to think about that. I also miss Italian subs especially from from Jersey Mike's.
  • Alcohol. All alcohol. I know that makes me sound awful but I don't care.

    I'm with you @souptin‌. I have a large hot green tea every morning.
