It currently feels like -19 degrees Celsius right now outside and we have crazy blowing snow and snow squalls.....so not looking forward to going out but unfortunately the calves can't feed themselves!! It's waaaay too early in the year for this crap! I'm going to guess there will be a snow day for schools too! I think when I'm done outside this morning I will be spending the rest of the day indoors with DS where it's nice and cozy!

It is the same here... my app says "feels like -18 Celsius" .. yikes! I also see windy blowing snow from the window. Looks NASTY out. Hope you get finished quickly and can stay in!
I wish I could just throw up instead of sleeping like crap, thinking I'm going to throw up! At least I had some decent on-line sales while I was at work yesterday. Yay for being able to pay some bills!
Sounds like you ladies deserve some hot chocolate (after coffee of course).
I'm about to go into work for a special training course. Not looking forward to it. We have made so much progress in the nursery, I just want to get it done.
My darling 3 year old joins us in bed almost every night, around 2:00. It's exhausting because he's a super close sleeper so I have to pry him off of me all night! I love the snuggling but I need some sleep! Any STM know how to deal with keeping him in his own bed??

Pretty sure my little guy is still breech or transverse sometimes. Wishing he would flip already so I can stop worrying about it. I'll welcome kicks to the ribs. Right now his head is taking over my breathing space.
Have you tried spinningbabies.com? I thought my first two were breech so I did a few of the exercises on there. When I went for my first internal with both they were head down.

It's freezing here! I'm off today but have my 30 week appt with the midwife today.
I gave my son french toast sticks but I guess he really wanted pancakes because he's complaining. on the outside I'm all "I know it's disappointing that you didn't get the breakfast you want. You can have pancakes tomorrow." but on the inside I'm all "dude, that is such a FWP, get over it and eat the damn food."
I found 3 maternity shirts that I had forgotten about in my closest last night. They were from my 1st pregnancy and are just long, plain, cotton turtlenecks from ON. No side-rouching so I'm not sure how long I've got to wear them. But it's effing cold here and my classroom is SO hot that I can't wear sweater without opening a window. Tried that yesterday with 13 degrees going on; it was so windy that the whistling noise bothered the kiddos. Hopefully, these are light enough. Basic colors too-black, charcoal gray and emerald green.
FTM due Feb. 6th, but it's a strong possibility that Baby D may make an appearance in late Jan. I've been lurking this board for a while now and figured it was time to join the fun.
Long time lurker popping in to say hi.

I'm here too. Sitting up makes me feel puke-y. Laying down brings heartburn.
What a shitty club to be in! Maybe you can get a prescription and some relief today. Good luck! My appointment is tomorrow. The Zantac 2x a day and Tums are not doing it for me anymore. I've had crazy HB for all 4 pregnancies and 3 bald babies so far. This one better have some hair!
Morning ladies hope you all have a great day Its a warm -13c here today with 0 visibility snow squalls and winds of 60km/hr so a typical day here no snow days for northern kids ... I however will not be leaving my house or my pj's
I just read the whole "am I on the right board thread" and now I need an iced coffee and a donut. I will not admit how many boston creme donuts I've had over the last two weeks.
Can anyone else only tolerate iced coffee now? I've always loved all coffee but hot has made me feel sick all pregnancy. It's weird and sad.

I haaaaate iced coffee. Yuck! I always have. Coffee just shouldn't be cold. I did have a coffee aversion in the beginning of my pregnancy. It was sad. Even the smell made me gag. It lasted until 12 weeks or so, I can't remember. I've been fine with it since, thank goodness.
@Britt1406- yikes, so glad there was no damage or hurt people, I'm sorry

@MusicFanatic - Really? Whenever you talk about blueberry coffee, I've always assumed it was iced!
Normally, I love coffee of every variety but now it's just iced. Maybe because I'm not drinking the good stuff. After baby is born I'm having some full caffeine Guatemalan cafe con leche.

@Milagros315- nooooo! Medium hot blueberry coffee, no cream or sugar You CAN get it iced. But what I get is hot. It's sooooo good.

This is a "boo-hoo for you" post, but we're on our last day of vacation, and I'm not ready to go home to freezing temperatures and a stressful job. Can I just stay here please? Well, until the baby comes. Then I want to be back home with my family, hospital, and doctors. Or maybe they can all just move here.
I have the day off today, and tomorrow go in to negotiate my contract! Finally! I was going to spend the day in bed, but my house is an awful mess, so I guess I should get to that. Now that the big work thing is over this baby thing is feeling a lot closer and more real. November seemed so far away in the summertime, and my countdown had such a big number, now I'm down to about 70days! (Jan 31), that doesn't seem like a lot of days.
I got it last week at my appointment and totally forgot after my flu shot to not get shots are the arm that I lay on at night! So, I had to deal with sleeping on a sore arm again. Although I think my arm hurt more from the flu shot than the TDAP.
I got both the TDAP and Flu shot yesterday and neither arm was pleasant to sleep on
I am here today to admit that I was wrong about blueberry coffee, and @musicfanatic was right. It's delicious. I got it with milk and sugar because that's how I like my coffee. It's really yummy and I'd definitely get it again.
So--- I admit - I was wrong, and she was right
Also, a short rant. I know that someone rear ended someone this morning - I am so glad you're ok. I was behind someone this morning who had NO brake lights. It's one of my biggest pet peeves. If you drive with a broken brake light or none at all, you are ASKING to get rear ended. I had to pass the guy because it was so stressful to be behind him in traffic. Ugh, it totally makes me ragey.

@luckylady18- Wait, say it once more for me. I like the sound of it
I'm a tad jealous you enjoyed it and I have none, but woohooo! I'm so glad you liked it!

I loooove me some flavored coffees. I order from San Marco coffee, they seriously have every flavor I could imagine. I especially love their banana cream and their coconut rum cake flavors.

I'd send you some if they sold the beans! But they don't, right?
I've spent waaay too much time over the last 2 days trying to track a package of maternity pants I ordered 3 weeks ago! First it was lost, then they said my address "didn't exist".... what? I'm pretty sure I live there. I am currently sitting on hold with the post office (for the past 30 minutes) trying to figure out what is going on. I would just cancel the order if I wasn't so desperate- I have seriously one pair of maternity pants I like to wear to work
I had to decline the heated towels when I got a pedicure last night because my feet were swollen. I had the sadz.
You don't think it would have helped? I know the heat will increase the blood flow, but I would also think it would make them feel a little better.
-------quote fail?------
I should've worded it as I chose to skip the heated towels because my feet felt like they'd been inflated with a bicycle pump. They didn't look terribly swollen, but they were uncomfortable. I didn't want to make the swelling worse.
I had an OB appointment at 8 a.m. Standard 30 week appointment. Nothing fancy. I did get my registration paperwork, though, which is exciting!
We got our first snow of the season (not much- this is the south after all), and there was black ice as I was merging onto the interstate headed towards my appointment. I totally fish tailed. Scared the crap out of me.
Now I'm headed to a 3D/4D ultrasound before going to work.

Ah that's so frustrating. I'm going through a similar situation with UPS and it sucks!! Good luck!

With my now 7 year old I use to keep a baby gate up on his door and a good nightlight and I would get up and put him back in his bed and sat next to the bed until it was safe to leave the. Room. I have known other people who had their kids toddler beds in their room so they would just take them back to the bed when they tried curling up in theirs then slowly transitioned them to their very own room. Other than that just a lot of patience.
So I couldn't sleep last night. My body time clock is messed up because I have been working a lot of night shifts due to one of my managers being on a "court ordered" vacation. He returns back after saturday then I can go back to my day shifts to supervise. And between crotch pains/pressure of baby girl shifting and labor dreams, I am just exhausted. My 7 year old asked me at the bus stop if babies really do feed from their mommies boobs. It was an interesting convo trying to explain that some do but not all.

Early FFFC: I haven't brushed my hair in 3 days. Maybe 4. I'm a bad hair owner.
@mshepherd20 I have the same problem with DS being super cuddly and rolling him out from underneath me all night. I wish I had advice!
