Yesterday I was meeting some friends at a restaurant that was about 2 blocks away from where I was. I chose to drive instead of walk. Pregnancy has made me very lazy.. 8-X
Basically you girls have made me envious of the snow, run to the store for dry shampoo and craving candy!!! Also I just ate almost a whole jar of spinach dip and sea salt pita chips while reading this thread:(

My gym is less than a mile a way and I drive. I blame it on the dark and the cold, but I am just really lazy
I'm upset that someone gave DS a wooden train set last night without letting us know first, and I don't know how much of a whiny brat that makes me. His big gift from Santa this year was supposed to be his own wooden train sets. H and I have been making him a train table to go with it. I was so excited about seeing the look on his face when he first saw it, but now he already has a set that he's obsessed with.
Maybe he'll be even more excited now to get a train table to go with the trains he already loves! I still think it will be a wonderful surprise and what kid doesn't like having multiple trains/figures/blocks to play with? I'm sorry though, still sucks.
Had to choose between my head and my stomach just now. I've not been reacting well to the antibiotics my doctor put me on (I was so close to getting out of 1st tri without any real vomiting) so I've been gentle with my stomach. But of course today I start getting a super bad headache, which some of you wonderful ladies pointed out on a thread can be beaten down with a little bit of caffeine. So I had to choose between this God awful headache or drinking a little coffee to stop it but upsetting my stomach in the process. So... *casually sips coffee*
@pintobean39 I always pictured you as my Zumba instructor (no idea why?) with short straight hair and swoosh bangs. Reading your hair description has me so confused.
I guess that's a confession. If someone doesn't have a picture of themselves I make up what they look like. If their avatar is a celeb or they have a gif in their siggy, then I picture that person is the one talking.
That's soooo far from me!!! I've never even done Zumba, I'm actually a tennis player but had to quit a few years ago. I'm not into those aerobic type of classes. I also haven't had bangs since the late 80's when I teased them up about a foot, you know the higher the better. My hair is so kinky curly I can't have swoosh bangs. I just straighten my hair so most ppl don't realize it's so curly but get me on a really humid day and I look like Monica from friends when they were in Barbados.

Please get out of my head. I had the same thing happen for te monsters birthday. My husbands boss came to our sons party and got him this ginormous train set. I hate this thing with a passion. Out big gift from Santa was a wooden Thomas set my brother handed down to us and we were going to build him a train table.
Whatever. I plan in shipping the gifted train set to stay at my inlaws.

I just started bawling reading this. Damn hormones. I am so sorry! This is the worst feeling- having someone steal your parenting glory/thunder. Even if the credit was going to Santa. He'll be blown away with the table though so don't worry- that's such a cool gift. Make sure you write on the underside love mom and dad Christmas 2014.
Thanks for all the replies on how to wash your hair once a week! Lol. And just to be clear-I don't wash, dry, and straighten. I have a pixie cut. I wash, air dry, and fluff. b-(
I woke up about an hour ago and can't go back to sleep, so of course I'm entertaining myself by getting on the bump. Well, as I'm laying here, I keep smelling something terrible. I'm totally blaming H, thinking he's farting in his sleep. I was getting pretty pissed because it's really bad. And as I'm about to wake him up so he can go sleep in the guest room, I realize I have a bowl with left over milk from cereal I ate last night on my night stand. Sure enough, after moving the bowl to dresser away from me, no funky smell.
