I think its pretty rude to leave anyone out of the Facebook group that wants to be in it. Personally I'm not ready to join it but you mean to tell me that come April if I decide I want to be in the Facebook group with other moms from here I wont be allowed to?? Sorry but that's just rude.

Unfortunately it happens on every BMB. There will probably end up being at least 3-4 fb groups by the time we have our LO's. I wouldn't take offense to it. I'm also not ready to join a fb group-seems too early-but I'm sure later on in 2nd tri, another one will open up.

Well said. I am sure another group will start up after. Also, if you are posting primarily here, you may be more comfortable joining a group with others who have been posting primarily here as opposed to people who have only been active in the fb group.

We are just getting to be a cohesive group and as a group we decided that since we are large and getting along well, we will close adding new people come January. It's totally nothing personal at all to anyone who isn't comfortable joining just yet.

Yeah, I have no desire to join the hundred or so that jumped ship via PM a month or two ago. It was a welcomed rapture of sorts, in my very (inappropriate) opinion. I like TB and I'll eventually be ready to go to a FB group, but for now I'm good.

I hear you but I would much rather be in a different one a few months down the line with likeminded people who love TB, enjoy the snark and weren't rushing to be all up in peoples personal business. And thats IF I decide to join one, i'm happy here. Let them have their SS fb group

This. And think about it, the FB group that exists now? You'd probably pull your hair out over the posts--since it's probably the people who *don't* post here regularly.

And just think about how many more "OMG GUISE! I *totally* just felt a flutter!! #babymoveing #13w5d #ItWasAFart" they get a day.

We put it to a democratic vote on the Facebook group, and the vote is that we will be closing it to new members in January.
