Oh, that's not as exciting as I thought lol. Let me just say how much four month shots suck. M has been fussy and feverish for 20 hours and only wants boob and to sleep on me. Not that I reeeeeally mind since I'm back to work on Friday. This is a depressing post. Here's a cute picture.
Sometimes I start working on a reply and then about halfway through I just get lazy and never complete it and never post.
I do this all the time.
and then, on my phone, it saves as a draft. RAGE

Before LittleDude was born I had an addiction for buying baby clothing with patches on the bum. Now it's ears on his hats.
What are you guys addicted to for your LO?
Pajamas with feet and zippers.
DS never had pajamas with snaps. For some reason we've got 3 or 4 for DD now. She wore 1 once overnight and that never happened again. I'm trying to keep myself as close to sleep as possible when up with her, why would I try and tax my brain with snaps?
I can't get enough of ruffly butt bloomers, but of course it's getting to cold for them now. The DC teachers won't mind them over tights, right? O:-)
I got DD an amber teething necklace because I have granola moments. I figured, worst case scenario would be that it looks pretty but her drooling actually more than halved since she's had it. Crazy.

We have an amber teething necklace but DH freaks out if it's on his neck so we haven't been able to test it out.
when everyone says bouncer they are NOT referring to something like the exersaucer right?
Yah, similar. He loses his shit in this thing. Like bounces on his feet up down x's gazilliongoogleplex until I pull him out and he passes out drooling on me.
Man. We have an exersaucer and F likes the lights but he is too little for it still (even with a pillow below him) he just sort of falls to one side and looks uncomfortable.
I do kind of want to get one of those bouncy things that extends between 2 door frames. Those look like tons of fun
@litera, yeah we put a pillow below his feet but he is so skinny he just kind of falls to any given side. He's great with holding the head up but he's not so great at the sitting thing (except in the bumbo)
Maybe I actually need to make the exersaucer taller so he can push off... come to think of it.
DH had yesterday and today for his days off this week. But for some reason I still only got 4 hours of sleep last night because DD wouldn't sleep, worked today, and tonight it's looking to be about the same, because DH just won't deal with her crying when he's super tired. He gets more sleep that I do at night, and can nap during the day with DD. I don't know what he thinks I did on my maternity leave, but I'm at the point where his next two days off in a row I seriously may consider getting a hotel room in town just so I can a normal nights sleep for the first time in 4 1/2 months. If I'm here, he apparently will always just hand her off to me regardless of my work schedule. I'm lucky if I get more than 25 hours of sleep between Sunday night through Thursday night when I work. Then by the time the weekends roll around, all I want to do is sleep every time DD does because I can't function otherwise, so I have no social life either.

I do keep hearing this same thing though
I don't think DD cares that it's there. She tries to lick me when its going on but that's it. Can you sneak it on while he's sleeping right before he wakes up?
The fiancé of a friend posted a video on Facebook of them feeding their maybe 2 month old rice cereal. Someone commented asking why they were feeding him rice cereal and her response was they only do it at night, so they don't have to give him as much formula since it's expensive!!!! WTAF!! I'm guessing a lot of people went off on her because she removed the video.

You would not believe the number of DH's female coworkers telling him to use rice cereal to get the baby to STTN. And this started when he went back to work when DS was about 5 weeks old.

I have a cousin that will go on all day about natural birth and how neither she nor LO had any pharmaceuticals after birth, skipped the vitamin K shot and eye ointment, is skipping certain vaccinations (fortunately not all), homemade baby food, blah blah crunchiness...yet started giving him cereal at 2 months so he'd sleep longer at night.

Does not compute.

First PPP was last week. Got all ready to start temping again and have failed completely so far this week. First morning, DD woke up at 4:30 and I completely forgot to temp before getting up. Second morning, I remembered and temped, but I couldn't hear it beep and didn't hold it in long enough to read a temp. This morning, pushed the button, didn't hear it beep "on" so I pushed it again and counted to 10 with it in. Took it out, pushed the button and rolled back over for a few minutes before getting up (it flashes the last temp when you turn it back on). Go to check it once I got up and it's already on, which means I turned it on and then back off before putting it in and then back on when I "thought" I was done. I don't remember it being this difficult before 8-}
My DH just asked if we were going to put whiskey on DD's gums for teething. Hahahaha..no
My brother asked me if people still did that. I told him no, and he asked if it was because there was sugar in the alcohol. We worry about him sometimes lol

I have died every day waiting for you. Darling, don't be afraid, I have loved you for a thousand years. And all along I believed I would find you, time has brought your heart to me. I have loved you for a thousand years. I'll love you a thousand more.
I am sick and was in pain yesterday added to the sleep deprivation....I felt terrible. Dh was so sweet and said he'd take lo for the night. So sweet. I woke up this morNing...the house is trashed. The entire downstairs is completely wrecked. How the fuck does this happen in one night? 8 dirty bottles? A huge dirty salad bowl on the floor? All blankets thrown every where? Bathroom trash can knocked over?Mayhem. Pure mayhem ensued last night.

@lolasimonlove, Is that made by 4 Moms?

It is our back deck, we have a great backyard! It's gorgeous in the fall here. I will admit I think the snow is beautiful but I hate driving in it.
