I'm sorry no individual check ins this week. I will try to be better next week.

This is a check-in for anyone who had a loss or an EDD in May (of any year). I am so sorry for each one of your losses. I hope that this can be a place to give support and help each other through this difficult time.

Members, give us an update on how you are doing. If I didn’t tag you with specific questions, it’s only because we didn’t hear from you last week (or for a few weeks) - please jump back in. Please pop in and let us know how you’re doing even if you don’t have time to respond to everyone individually this week! New members, introduce yourself so that we can get to know you.

This week has been pretty rough for me:/ I thought I was healing well from the d&c last week, only to start bleeding heavier last night and again this afternoon.
I was also hoping that I would be feeling a little better emotionally after the procedure was done. But that doesn't seem to be the case. I don't think the crashing hormones are doing me any favors either.
And to top it off (sorry if this is TMI), I'm dealing with the worst freaking constipation. No amount of stool softeners are helping me:/
Anyways, sorry for the huge vent. Hoping tomorrow is a better day.

@cavewmn‌ Hope your DH finds a job soon. My DH just found a new job about a month ago, and the job hunt was pretty rough before that. And I hope your migraine clears up soon.

@cavewmn So sorry about the migraine. I have never had one, but I cannot imagine! Sending positive vibes your husband's way. My husband has been laid off in the past and that is rough. Good luck. Hang in there. Hopefully you find your book from Amazon helpful.

@ElsieMae Sorry your body is not being kind. The recovering from a D&C seems so unique for everyone you never know what to expect. I hope you start to feel better emotionally too. Be kind to yourself.

@linkloveszelda26 Good luck with this next step in your TTC journey! I bet its nerve-wracking! But also enjoy your vacation!! For Thanksgiving we will be going to my parents' home. The hunters go hunting and the rest of us stay back and make Belgium waffle cookies with my grandma. They are extremely time consuming as we make one at a time, but the memories the afternoon creates are some I will cherish forever.

AFM: Thursday will be 4 weeks post D&C for me. I have finally stopped with all the spotting and random crapping. Now we are just waiting for AF to show up. Talked to MH about TTC vs. NTNP this past weekend. He's on board with Temping, tracking and all that jazz, after AF. I'm still trying to decide what I will be most comfortable with.

Oh sweetie I'm sorry. The hormone crash makes it all so much harder. There will be a day where it gets better ... Better is the wrong word here. I hope you catch my meaning though. Have you talked to your doc about the bleeding increasing? And the constipation?
Fwiw it's really hard to actually give tmi in these parts.

TTCAL: we've officially burned the bridge and are TTC official now. I'm so nervous, but ready.

NTTCALR: it's almost time for my vacation and I'm pumped about it. I took Thanksgiving week off. I love my job, but it's the end of the year BS and I'm over it and my pajamas and sweats are calling my name! I also got new make up so that makes me feel good.

What are everyone's Thanksgiving plans?

Thanksgiving we will go to My moms house. My fam is much smaller and quieter than mh's which is what we need. Last year we skipped thanksgiving completely after the loss

AFM thanks ladies I am doing ok. Still in a holding pattern until I can start IVF but we're trying to enjoy our time not ttc on our own, make the most of it.

TTCALR: We spent this cycle sort of not stressing about trying. With all the doctor and insurance crap and knowing we can't get help anytime soon, we are just going to keep going in a more relaxed manor until March when we have the money saved for the testing. At least we know that my husband is not part of the problem. So that's half of the battle I guess. So, who knows. It's definitely bringing back some of the romance with not trying so hard. But I guess over 4 years of trying trying trying...yeah it sucks the romance out for sure.

NTTCALR: Not much going on here. I'm mentally prepping myself for the holidays, which I am both dreading and looking forward to. Our Thanksgiving is being hosted by us. His mom and brother and his brother's girlfriend always comes along with some friends of ours. This year my family may be coming as well. I'm hopeful they will, because our relationship with my BIL and his girlfriend is strained at best. (Drama at a family vacation back in August as well as comments last Thanksgiving about them not understanding why we were eager for a new year and leaving the old one behind. The first loss was pretty fresh at that point.) I'm hoping my family being there will be good, at least we will have some people there that are firmly in our camp.
But, I'm cooking a ton of food as well as three pies and pumpkin swirl cheesecake bites. Yum!

Not much going on., I'm in the 2ww but have little to no hope since we just tried on our own this month and that's never worked before. Just waiting for my December appointment to get back on with treatments.

NTTCALR-I am trying to put together a Las Vega themed movie party for tomorrow night. It was a spur of the moment thing for my food blog and now I'm freaking out because I have to work today and tomorrow and have no idea how I'm going to get everything ready. It'll be tons of fun, but right now I'm stressed.

TTCALR: I started bleeding again last night. Its been a week since my D&C and I only bled last Monday, with very light spotting until Thursday. I don't know WTF is going on in my uterus. It almost feels like a period...is that even possible?! I passed the majority of everything on 10/6 so technically its been 4 weeks. I don't know. I have my follow-up on 11/18 and I'm just going to wait until then to talk to my doctor unless I meet the "soak a pad in 1 hour" criteria (which I'm not close to at all). I am starting to feel hopeful about the appt. and just hope we can get off the damn bench sometime this month.

NTTCALR: Nothing much going on. DH just started a new job, so that's exciting. Its a big step up for him and a lot more responsibility. I've got a few things scheduled for the next few weekends, just festivals and stuff like that, so I'm excited about actually having legit weekend plans, lol.

QOTW: We're having a small Thanksgiving at our house this year. Just my mom and sister are coming. But I'm still looking forward to it. We deep fry our turkey and it is delicious!!! Then we have a big Thanksgiving on Saturday with DH's extended family.

I should O this week, DH and I are both home (no business trips) so we are making the most of out time this week

I'm trying really hard to relax about the whole TTC process. I need to work on letting go (less of a control freak) and not stressing so much in general. We'll see - it's a process and it's going to take time to change.

I've been bonding with one woman at work. I know she's TTC and yesterday we went for a walk at lunch and she mentioned temping and going to a specialist. I got the feeling she's been going through a lot. I told her what I haven't told anyone at work - about my loss. Then she goes, well I lost two this year

It's so sad. She's also stressed at work and we compared notes. It's unbelievable how many women have had to endure this process. I'm so thankful that we have each other though!

Thanksgiving isn't celebrated on this side of the world. I've gone to buffets in the past or celebrated on the weekend, but it's not the same. I don't celebrate it much. Usually head to my in-laws the first advent weekend and go to Christmas markets.

Not really sure if I'm doing this correctly, but I'm new to May Flowers. I would have been due May 6, 2015, give or take. Still struggling with the loss. Some days I'm OK and some days I'm not… it doesn't take much to trigger me.

I had a D&C on Sept. 30, and had my first follow-up appointment with my doctor yesterday. She said from the fetal tissue they took during the procedure that nothing looked abnormal, so they don't know why I miscarried. I just have to be patient now until I can try again, I guess.

Looking forward to getting to know you all. I'm sorry for all of your losses.

@menrandes, festivals may not have been a good word. The first is a corn maze. I went through one in college and it was so much fun! The second is basically a Christmas town close to where I live. They have a huge display of lights you can drive through. Also, outdoor campfires with marshmallows, that sort of thing. We're going so early in the year so hopefully it won't be too crowded. There is also a Civil War reenactment that I'm thinking of going to. I have never been to one and my mom is a huge history buff.

Well I'm still in limbo, no AF. FF seemed to think I O'd on 10/28 which would make today 14 DPO and my temps going up. No way I'm pregnant, because, you know, condoms. I'm sooo ready for this cycle to be over so we can burn the bench and move on.

Anyone care to chart stalk and tell me if there is any chance I've O'd at all?

Appt with the new RE 11/21. Hoping we can do a cycle before the new year.

@Km380‌ thanks for the check-in. Sorry IVF is still on hold but glad you and your husband are getting time to just relax. We've just been having sex for fun this last month and it's a long time since we've done that. I also love the Christmas markets in Europe!

Welcome, I'm glad you checked in. I will add your edd. Be patient with yourself, the bad days eventually get farther apart. It's good they were able to do testing. Results sort of suck if they find nothing or find something, catch 22 IMO. (((Hugs)))

I'm sorry about your trip to the ER. I hope this all ends soon for you. I didn't have a D and C so no experience there. Just many hugs!

Cavewmn I'm sorry about your migraine and FX your H finds a new job ((hugs)) TTCAL: we've officially burned the bridge and are TTC official now. I'm so nervous, but ready. NTTCALR: it's almost time for my vacation and I'm pumped about it. I took Thanksgiving week off. I love my job, but it's the end of the year BS and I'm over it and my pajamas and sweats are calling my name! I also got new make up so that makes me feel good. What are everyone's Thanksgiving plans?

I got the feeling she's been going through a lot. I told her what I haven't told anyone at work - about my loss. Then she goes, well I lost two this year It's so sad. She's also stressed at work and we compared notes. It's unbelievable how many women have had to endure this process. I'm so thankful that we have each other though! Thanksgiving isn't celebrated on this side of the world. I've gone to buffets in the past or celebrated on the weekend, but it's not the same. I don't celebrate it much. Usually head to my in-laws the first advent weekend and go to Christmas markets.

Yay, for O'ing this week. Have fun!! I'm glad you got to connect with someone at work.

I had a D&C on Sept. 30, and had my first follow-up appointment with my doctor yesterday. She said from the fetal tissue they took during the procedure that nothing looked abnormal, so they don't know why I miscarried. I just have to be patient now until I can try again, I guess.

Looking forward to getting to know you all. I'm sorry for all of your losses.
