My dad is having an angiogram today

It's not emergency but we found out yesterday evening after his heart appointment so it's last minute. I couldn't take off work; I'm going to be nervous all day

They may need to place stents. And if they do he will be staying overnight

Good morning ladies! TGIF!
so for many months I hadn't had any baby dreams, only a few and they were relating to BF'ing. ? BUT NOW they are rolling in! 3 dreams in the last week or so. DH even had one. Anyone else?

Morning beautiful mommies! I'm up super early on my day off because DH just left for Canada to hunt. He won't be back until next weekend.

I've got my GD test today and would really love to just devour an entire box of poptarts and a gallon of juice.

Also, TB app is pissing me off. Every time I hit back it goes back to like two days ago so I have to close out, shut it out, and bring it back up....EVERY TIME.

Good luck @crystalw88! The bump thing happens to me too. Now I scroll down to the bottom of the thead when I'm done & click Feb 15. It should take you to the updated threads!

Nothing here. I posted below on junk thread. So is $134 too much for a valance in baby's room? I need two. Wasn't crazy about the solid colors and I wanted them to make one kije the crib skirt pattern. Crazy???

@dreemkin84‌ try not to worry. Even if they have to place a stent, it's a very simple procedure. The only reason they keep patients longer with the stent placement is usually so they can give more blood thinners.

I think I'm going to try and go tomorrow morning to get my GD test done, so I am trying to be more careful about what I eat today. I decided that I wanted a real breakfast this morning so I am currently waiting for curbside carryout at Bob Evans. Eggs and bacon is better than a donut right?

So this morning I woke up wet. Couldn't figure out for the life of me why the upper sleeve of my shirt was wet. Then my boob felt cold. SO I realized my one boob leaked everywhere while I was sleeping on my left side last night. DH thought that was hilarious.

Also Got to give it to my MIL she was nice and pleasant yesterday. I went to pick up Hailey and mentioned I was going to take her clothes shopping. She asked if she could tag along. She ended up buying her $150 worth of clothes in addition to the $115 I spent. So I really appreciated it and told her thank you.

But the whole time I was at her house she complained about my SIL with the twins. Apparently she asked her to send some clothes over for the twins since she had none. My MIL has them 5 days a week for around 12 hours a day she def needs clothes. So SIL send over clothes alright. Some of them being size 6 months and all of them where too small and tank tops or shorts. Then she sent over one winter coat that was actually the twins sizes. She showed me the pile of clothes and asked me "WTH am I suppose to do with 6 month summer clothes their in 18 months and its November?". She then told me all the clothes SIL sent where the clothes that MIL had picked up at a yardsale for them. Every single thing was a yard sale pick.

I just told MIL to me that showed me she was ungrateful for the stuff MIL had bought just because it was second hand.

I hate people who are ungrateful. I remember when I had Hailey I only had one friend who didn't ditch me and her and her mom would go to yardsales and every so often drop me off a huge trash bag of everything they bought for her. And I was beyond grateful to them and made sure I showed it. I would even go in person to tell her and her mom thank you for everything.

Hell anytime DD does stay there for something I send her pj's, underwear, socks an outfit, and a back up outfit for if they go somewhere and a 2nd set of shoes to go with the back up outfit, along with her toothbrush, tooth paste, comb, and any small toys she may want to take over. AND shes 7 and I still send that much stuff.

The twins parents don't even send a spare onsie or diaper or even pedialyte when their sick.

After lots of thought last night, I've finally accepted the fact that I'll most likely fail my 3 hour GTT on Monday...my reasons.

I was borderline diabetic with DD during pregnancy, but the damn doctors didn't have me do the 3 hour test that time, instead discovered it while in labor (SMDH).
DD was born hypoglycemic (another indicator that I was probably diabetic). She was also large for gestational age (9 lbs, 3oz, born at 38 weeks).
My mother had it will all three pregnancies and my grandmother did as well.
I have a family history of diabetes.

So yeah, not looking forward to Monday morning or changing my diet. :-(

Well, my midwife appointment got cancelled. I am super bummed. They rescheduled for Monday afternoon, its going to fuck with Ella's naptime.. ugh. I hate when shit doesn't work out the way it is planned!

I hope you pass the test. The GD diet sucks but its doable. If they do test you and you have it just be happy they catch it in time. Good luck!

I woke myself up several times last night snoring and my throat is killing me! I also have a headache which I'm hoping does not progress into a migraine. Luckily Addie is being extra lovey/cuddley this morning and laid in bed snuggled against me gently rubbing my belly for about 15 minutes this morning so despite not feeling good it's a pretty good morning!

I'm so happy it's Friday, but there's still one more day of insanity to go at work. Bah. However, tomorrow is my shower, so I'm excited. It's going to be small, but that's okay. More time to devote to the people who come (if anyone shows up who didn't RSVP, I'll still love them, but they'll get a side-eye from my mom and sister).

And there will be Georgetown Cupcakes. Glorious, glorious, Georgetown Cupcakes.

All that stemmed from me putting him in timeout for kicking the dog. DS didn't nap at daycare yesterday and he becomes a terror when he's overtired. From the time I picked him up at DC, it was tantrum after tantrum until we were both in a crying heap on the living room floor. Suck. I hope today is a better day!

Fuck the flu shot! First time taking it yesterday and I woke up in the middle of the night hot and the chills at the same time. I ached all over and was burning up. I haven't been sick in a very long time, so was upset I took the shot. I don't know if I will ever take it again. I am calling my OB this morning, because I am worried about the fever I had last night.

I am still achy this morning, but feel a little better.

GL to all those taking the GD test today!! I'm dreading my one hour, which is 2 days before Thanksgiving. I passed the 1-hour with DS, but I just have a feeling this time is going to be different (like everything else with this pregnancy!)
