i don't like specific holiday outfits. I will purchase something nice for the kids to wear but it will be something they can wear multiple times. I can never handle spending money on something that will only be worn once.
My UO is that i find it stupid that people get ripped a new one for using the word gender over sex. I get that the two have different meanings but for those who are ignorant on their differences is not a big deal to me. Even the bump has a "gender chart". Js.

I'm done wearing makeup. I've always hated wearing it and growing up my mom never wore it. It makes me look better but it's too much work and I hate removing eye makeup. People will just have to deal with my bare face.
Also, I don't want a date night. I would rather just stay home and order pizza/drink wine/watch TV or movies after DS goes to bed.

I can't figure out makeup other than mascara! I've watched tutorials and think I can do it but nope! I grew up with my dad so no one ever taught me. Eyeliner always runs off to the sides. Foundation always looks cakey or just soaks into my face even though I've used primer and I moisturize beforehand. Don't even get me started with eyeshadow...ugh. I just hope I can figure it out by the time my LO starts with it. I'd like to be able to teach her this stuff.
I have and use a BB cream but I am very freckley and have a red nose and eyes. It helps somewhat but I still look like I snort drugs because I have such thin skin in those areas.
Women who are masters of make-up make me jealous. Like geeky, insecure eighth-grader jealous. I have one eye shadow trio that I cling to for dear life, but like some PP, anything beyond that is beyond my grasp, no matter how many tutorials I watch.
Same for hair-dos. I can do pony-tails and buns. Ta-da! I confess I did learn how to do the fishbone braid and rocked it out for a couple days until I realized it made me look like a dweeb.
I could have written this. My 11 and 14 yr old step daughters do their hair and makeup better than I do. They also dress better..
Don't even get me started on hair. I can do the basic braid and that is as fancy as I get. I can't French braid for my life. I can curl my hair but get it to stay? Newp. I also can't tease it and I have a flat spot on my crown. If I just pin my bangs to the side of my head, the pin will be sticking out the side-I can't get it to stay flat. I'm glad I'm not the only one who is a girl failure.
Me three! I somewhat enjoy applying makeup, but it doesn't make up for how much I despise taking it off. It takes me forever because I get OCD & feel like there's still makeup residue left on my face.

Same here. I tried to use powdered foundation the other day and walked out looking like a Geisha.

I love makeup but I never wear it unless we are going out. I feel like it is a waste to wear around the house. Hubbs doesn't much like it.

Makeup can be very easy if you stick to basics. Moisturizer is a given in good skin care, but foundation and primer and powder not needed if you're happy with your complexion. BB creams are great if you're not so happy, but don't want cakey coverage. As for eyes, skip the liner and pick up a shadow trio or quad. Using the darkest shade as a "liner" makes a great sexy, smoky eye that looks best messy.
Can you move in with me?

My UO is that my facebook news feed has become one long sales pitch for products (thrive, rhodan and fields, younique, etc). I want to see funny statuses, cute kids, cat videos, etc. Not 10,000 statuses about how a product has changed their life and that I just can't go another day without trying it. I am constantly hiding 'friends' from my news feed because of this.
I'm going to jump in the no makeup line. I used to always wear makeup, but during maternity leave I rarely have time to put it on. I'm going back to work next week (I'm a teacher) and I have to leave the house at 6:15 am. There is no way I'm wasting time with makeup or hair!!
I don't get people who don't let their kids eat the trick or treat candy. If you don't want them to have so much, don't take them to so many houses! It just makes no sense to go to people's houses asking for sweets for your kids when you intend to not allow your kids to eat it.

My kids aren't allowed to eat reeses candy because those are mine. It's payback for making me take them to fifty billion houses. Well they can have one but I get the rest. Is that mean?
No, I get that. I mean the people who plan to take it to their coworkers or trade the candy for a toy or whatever.
Another UO: I freaking LOVE makeup. I do mine every day because I don't feel ready until it is done. My hair ends up in a pony tail most days thanks to grabby kid hands but at least I have some makeup on to make me feel pretty.
I'm super jealous of all you "I never wash my hair." I would straight up look like a crack head. I have curly short hair that sticks straight up in mornings. It's amazing my little one likes me with that hot mess. Luckily, I found NoPoo for curls and my hair looooves it. Also, no makeup for me would give me an anxiety attack. I cannot remember the last time no makeup happened out of the house! I must have been like 12.

I've used Deva products for around 10 years now. I'd never go back to shampoo! My hairstylist changed my life. I wish she'd been around to help me deal with my out of Ci tool curls when I was in middle school.
I love Christmas trees and always put mine up after Halloween. It's crazy, but I've collected Christmas ornaments on every trip, and I like looking at them. Also, I figure if it takes me do much time to decorate, I may as well enjoy it for more than a month.
I refuse to let my daughter snack in the evening. It's a bad habit to get into IMO. Sometimes I will let her have a little treat shortly after dinner, if she eats her dinner. I know my daughter though and if she knew a snack was going to be allowed in the evening she would never eat her dinner. She's all about the junk. If she begs for a snack in the evening, I offer a banana or an apple (she likes both) and she takes it if she's truly hungry but if she won't take it I know that she's not really hungry she just wants some junk.

I LOVE paying bills. I don't like seeing the money go out, of course, but I just like having it checked off my list for the month.
Also, I don't want a date night. I would rather just stay home and order pizza/drink wine/watch TV or movies after DS goes to bed.
