So I discovered that I need to give the tiny one a bottle of pumped milk right before bed and he will sleep longer. Go me! Bad side is that I now cannot sleep because I took a nap with him and woke up at 8pm. Oops. And that I should go into the living room and pump before I fall asleep but that requires me to get up and my bed is cozy.

DS has decided he wants to be up non stop tonight. I am so tired! I want my baby that was doing 3 hour stretches back. This every 1-2 hours is tough!

Whatever happened to the baby that would go down by midnight (yes I know its a late bedtime) and sleep 5-6 hours? Now she refuses to settle till 3am or later, sleep shorter stretches AND decide to start the day at 11am. I thought babies liked to sleep a lot not as little as possible.

I've got the lo who is in totally freak out mode all day and then let night woke me up every two hours and took an hour and a half to two hours to go back down..

Yes DD does that to the ceiling. It's creepy as fuck

DS does this as well and I always freak myself out by wondering if there are ghosts in my house. I will say it's creepier MOTN

Yes DS stares at like my bangs, which I poof up and pin back. So like three times a day I ask him if he doesn't like my bangs this way?

DH is never home. He works and has a night class twice a week. There's no way around that. But he always has to go help someone in his family. It's multiple times a week. And when he isn't going to them, his parents are coming to our house. We never get just our little family time. Then he says shit like LO likes you better and gets mad when he can't calm her down but it's my fault because I'm home with her all the time. Stay home sometimes and when you are home put your fucking phone down and pay attention to her.

I want one full hour of knowing he can take care of LO so I can paint my nails - fingers and toes. But that hasn't happened since before she was born.

Get you some me time! Hand her over and go lock yourself in the bathroom and enjoy a nice hot bath. For an hour. Or better yet, hop in the car and go run a few errands. By this I mean totally cruise around in Target alone accompanied by a Starbucks drink.

Finally got the boob monster down and close my eyes and I hear water running in my bathroom... there is water pouring out of our ceiling light/fan unit... Turns out the work that was happening in the apartment above us was bathroom work.. they finished today and it appears they didn't get everything done right because when I called it turns out one of my upstairs neighbors was taking a shower and that's when my running started... Maintenance is coming over tomorrow morning to fix them, and ours, and clean our bathroom up.. but mostly I'm mad because in the chaos the baby woke up and now I'm sitting at my computer with a boppy and a boob monster again...

Dinner is done, and both kids are bathed. One child is asleep, and still have one to go. Then I can sleep for a bit. Wish me luck this goes smoothly b/c DS is very difficult to put to bed.

So LO just slept for 4 hours!! That's a first in weeks!! He's been only sleeping a max of 2 hours at a time. Either this 6 week growth spurt is over or I am going to have to start giving him a bath EVERY night

Worst day ever isn't over. After a trip to the (quite empty) ER under the advice of someone over the phone regarding my clogged ducts that just won't empty, LO all of a sudden started choking. At first she did it only on her back but now she is doing it in the rnp and while being held upright. I don't know how either of us are going to sleep.

I'm in the same boat. My LO is 6 weeks but sleeping really hasn't improved at all since we brought her home, and last night it was every hour. Get it together baby girl!

Well, I gave lo a bottle of pumped milk at 11:30 and he went to sleep about midnight. I was going to watch tv for an hour or so and go pump. Yeah, fell asleep and it's not a few minutes to 5, and he's just waking up! I woke up miserable so he gets another bottle, but that was so nice to get some uninterrupted sleep! Let's do this every night!!!

Eta: yes! I changed him and he didn't fully wake up so I can hopefully save his bottle for all of my errands today! He has never slept this long so fingers crossed we are going to start a new trend.

LO turned out fine and slept good for 6 hours and my crap boob 'reset' that the block is finally gone. Maybe she got something out of the blockage in my boob that made her gag. Who knows

my whole house (me, h, LO, and the dogs that have started to beg to go out motn) slept through my first motn alarm... I'll take it because I got an extra hour of sleep and LO had a good feed. I may start purposefully doing this every now and then so I'm not sleeping in 2hr intervals until December.

One downside of motn feedings, when you are trying to get lo to latch on properly but don't realize you are actually spraying her in the face with milk until you notice her face is soaked. Whoops

DD was up from midnight to six am with gas with only one thirty minute stretch of sleep around three. We had a rough night, and of course DH was no help when he got home with his obnoxious comments. 17 more days till I go back to work to try and figure this out...

I knew last night was too good to be true. DS slept from 11-4 and then 6-10!! And then all day ugh. He's been fussy since 9. He wants nothing to do with me and DH is so tired that he's already snapped at him ...

Anyone else's DH getting so frustrated they tell LOs to shut up? I yelled at DH for saying it to him and now I'm really upset about it.

OMG! Yes! Last weekend he was trying to look at his fantasy football shit on his phone and hold LO for me while I cooked. She was screaming because he wasn't doing anything!! He got mad and kept shushing her and saying "shut up G----!" I was so pissed!!

Also I want to wear yoga pants to church tomorrow. I can't decide if I'm insane or a genius....

So sorry for all of the sleep issues everyone is having. My 3yo is nearly impossible to get to sleep. She pretty much runs in circles until she drops. The baby usually sleeps pretty well but we will hit 6wks tomorrow so that will change I'm sure as we get to the next growth spurt.

I'm sad right now as I realized that my little baby is wearing his NB jammies for probably the last week or so. He's growing so much and even though he's still tinsy, he won't always be this little.

Lol is said daddy snoring? Cuz that's why I'm selling my dh.. Baby kept me awake all the way until three and then had the nerve to wake me at 5:15.. And dh is playing a very risky game by being asleep still..

Baby stayed up from midnight to seven am. She's been doing this the last three or four days. I'm happy that she's staying up for a stretch, but I wish that it could be during the day. This isn't going to fly when I need to go back to work in a couple of weeks.
