@chayshay1408 I totally squirted my husband with my first baby!! He can be gross at times and thinks it's funny to fart in my face..... So I got him back and used the boob as my own personal squirt gun..... Needless to say, he never tried to fart in my face again
DH got back from a 6 mile run. Diva Dog was playing with a tiny puppy who nipped her back paw. He didn't notice until he was back home and there was blood on our floor. It's about 1 cm open wound. She has been cleaned & bandaged. We are waiting for her running adrealine to leave her to see if it causes her any pain.
I also have a call to the vet to see if there are any other wound care things I need to be aware of (other than stitches).
Cleaning my 6 yr olds room makes me ragey. The crap I find in the weirdest places.
Oh and the complaining that he can't find his Legos. They. Are. Everywhere. And everything is taken apart!!! Thank god I keep the directions for all his kits. Grrrrrrr!!
stepping on Legos is the worst! Hopefully they aren't in walking areas

Ours cut his upper pad last winter on ice, I packed it with neosporin. The vet recommended that and keeping it covered, it kept busting open so It needed to be stitched. I hope your pup is more cooperative. The only time his stayed covered was when he was sedated after stitches.

Thanks ladies. The vet wants to see her on Monday to start a round of antibiotics (to be safe). Otherwise keep it clean, dry, and watch for signs of infection. In case she is in pain or it is infected we are to take her to the ER vet.
I have never been so excited for labor in my life but at this point i am really ready to have this baby and the days just keep dragging on!! 60 days sounds like eternity in my head. This will be my first and only girl so im super stoked and i cant wait to see her facial features and just have her in my arms
Just showed the Lego station to DH. He said it was too organized. Seriously WTF Mr. OCD!?! (I think it is brilliant)
THanks ladies!
@CandEChicago, it makes his play time SO MUCH more enjoyable. He pulls out a book, needs a part and he knows exactly where it is, and doesn't have to spend 30 minutes digging through a pile looking for it.
@JunkieBrewster, you go mama! I feel pretty organized, but I'm not quite on that level yet!
Today I finally finished putting everything away and organizing the nursery. My mom and best friend came to help and it took us about 7 hours. I couldn't have done it without them! It feels so wonderful to have the house and her room uncluttered of "things". So many things. Yay for having things done!
@teeta_81 Oh man. That would totally skeeve me out! Is there any conceivable reason he'd need to go in there? If he left the door open he at least isn't trying to hide the fact he was in there/opened the door. Unless he's playing mind games. (I might be watching too much tv that hinges on nefarious motives and criminal intent.)

@teeta_81 - erm...ew. Not cool. @JunkieBrewster - that Lego setup is by far the most amazing thing I have seen all day. Kudos to you guys! And to your son for keeping it organized!
Supposedly (could be a Steeler rumor) that Baltimore asked the NFL not to schedule any more night games against the Steelers in Pittsburgh because they always lose.

True story... driving with the window down after church today. Something flew in hit me in face I brushed it away. Then I was like what was that and where is it now? Looked down into my DD cleavage and there it was a bee chilling at the bottom of my bra. Pulled over fast as I could got out and shook that "boobie" out of my bra right there on street. I did not get stung thank God!
Just have to share ..... Making cute/funny shirts for my best friend and her DD and DH. Quick back story, her name is heather and when my kids were little they would call her "header" her DD and my DD are BFF's and call each other "fousins" a mix of friends/ cousins. And her DH's name is rob. I've been thinking long and hard on what to get her once baby is born as a cute thank you gift and finally came up with the idea of cute shirts, but I wanted them to be able to wear them again so..... This is what I came up with: Heather will get a sweatshirt that says "Ant Header" on the back Her DD will get a sweatshirt that says "Big Fuzz'n" on the back And because Rob is always just Rob, he will get a hoodie that says "Rob in Hood" on the back They can wear them again and only we (and now you) will know what it means!!
Diva Dog Update: Vet says Saturday's wound is healing well and looks perfectly healthy. Just need to continue to keep it clean and dry for a couple of more days.
SO just found out my bi-weekly health insurance payment has tripled for next year. Seems our parent company removed us from the sliding pay scale we had been on before. I'm kinda freaking out....
Oof @abcmom12 - that's super unfortunate. I was just looking at open enrollment and seeing how much my biweekly costs change with the addition of baby.
Here are 2 questions: Does baby need vision/dental insurance? or just medical?
Also - has anyone used a Dependent Care spending account? (similar to a FSA/HSA where money is taken out of a paycheck pre-taxes but used just for daycare?) Just wondering how it would be used - maybe I need to ask my daycare ... not sure if the money would be on a debit card?
They don't need vision or dental till they're older than 2 and even then it'll depend on what their pediatrician says. My dentist told me to bring my daughter in after 2 and he'd check her for free the first time to see how we're doing with the brushing before reccommending regular checkups.
We had the FSA and it was a pain in the ass. Pre-tax or no, waiting to be reimbursed wasn't fun and we couldn't even save the whole amount, just the $5k. That's half for one kid in AL. With 2, it's not even worth the hassle.

Rainy day in NYC today--hoping this leads to making progress on baby prep.

Nope nope nope. 3 penalties in one play? Might as well have just put the ball in the end zone!

Ha or the 3 sacks on consecutive plays? Whoa O line, get your sh*t together...
No dog in this fight but it's been entertaining so far. Been enjoying my afternoon after a rare Vikings win
