  • @annaK1985 I'm glad to see that you are coming around.  Stick around and hang out on your BMB as well.  You are getting some great advice and support and it seems as though talking about your fears is actually helping a bit.  And remember as we've all said we are here for you no matter what you choose.  I'm happy you've stayed ;)

  • I'm doing OK, I didn't sleep well last night.  I'm just really not looking forward to making any choices.

  • Thank you.  It's just really hit me today I've got a lot to make my mind up on in the next few months.

  • I can relate to this. What I can tell you, though, is that ultimately I found myself trusting that my daughter came into existence for a reason, and that I'd be given the strength to handle the hard times and care for her. I was shocked to learn I'd be a mother, but even more shocked by how much I loved her once she got here. In many ways she has made me a better, happier person. I look back and see that the last thing I wanted was exactly what I needed.

I too felt like my life was over at first, and I'm not sure I really truly bonded with her until she was 6 weeks old. Yes, life changes significantly, but you slowly start to realize that your new normal is pretty great. Best of luck to you!
  • Definitely consider adoption and then see how you feel about it after the baby is born. It would be terrible if you cam to regret an abortion. It stays with you forever. Feeling like you are now is normal. Wait it out. You could contact agencies such as Pregnancy Crisis Incorporated or some similar agencies to help you out. Those people understand. Best of luck.
