I was at the mall last night and went into a babies clothing store. I was looking to get some things for my niece who is due in 2 months. The babies clothes were so little and so cute. I wanted to buy something extra for our some day child but I didn't. We won't even begin trying until mid Nov.

Piece of advice - Don't.
You never know how long it will take, and trust me, you won't like having to see that fucking box full of baby stuff. #TrueStory
@EmeJay Thank you! I know, it could take us forever to conceive and it would suck to that sit there as a reminder. Meanwhile I'll get to spoil my niece!
I have a fish tank, and I love it. I keep it really clean, and it's like a grown-up night light. It's calming, serene, colorful, and it's a perfect addition to movie night... or when you've had so much red wine that you wake up in the middle of the night dying of thirst and it lights your path in a blue hue as you desperately make it downstairs to get water from the fridge.

I really thought you were going to say you drank from your fish tank. Little disappointed you didn't.
Another FFFC - I'm glad I never have to deal with snow. I mean seriously. White stuff that falls from the sky and can pile up to several feet high? No thank you. I'll take my 100% humidity, 90 degree weather, and freakish rainstorms.
The one and only thing preventing me from moving out of this wintery hell hole is that my family is all here. I miss Norfolk. It got chilly (30s) and occasionally snowed a tiny bit, but nothing compared to WI.
I skipped my run last night to sit on my couch and binge watch the Mindy Project while eating way too much Halloween candy and drinking lots of wine...
I'm from Wisconsin and we don't have Steak N Shake at all up there. So when I moved to Ohio to be with my DH, he introduced me to them and I'm hooked! I introduced it to my family when they came down for my wedding this year. Needless to say they are coming back to visit every year haha.

I was unloading the dishwasher last night and saw some dried flour stuck to a mixing bowl, and I went ahead and put the bowl away anyway. And it wasn't the first time I've done that. If a utensil comes out still dirty, I'll wash it because 1) it went in someone's mouth; 2) it's going in someone's mouth; and 3) it's noticeable. But a mixing bowl that no one will see and whose contents will end up being cooked or baked? Nope.
A second FFFC is it took me three tries to spell "noticeable," and in the end I still had to click on it to see the spelling because I couldn't get it.
@Chad5285 and @hobbesgal since both of you thought that, that means others thought that. I could legit edit my post so it doesn't lead the brain in that direction, but since I El Oh El'ed at your response, I want to leave it.
I have to go to go a wedding tonight with H family, but his bratty sister decided last minute that she is going bc they needed to fill seats and are allowing her to bring her boyfriend. They both start fights if you so much as breathe the wrong way and they act like teenagers. Ugh I know it's wrong, but I plan on making friends with the bartender since H will be the DD because he has to get up early tomorrow anyway. I just can't deal with her level of drama today. I'm also afraid to leave my purse near her bc in the last month she stole a few hundred dollars from my inlaws but I don't know what to do with it while on the dance floor. This should be an interesting night.
I'm staying at the gym until the ToT dies down around my house. I live in the middle of a city, and there were literally hundreds of kids last year- my candy lasted for all of five minutes. The kids were cute, but getting swarmed was a bit overwhelming.
We had a team meeting this morning at work and one of my coworkers put a cake on the table that said, 'Pink is pink, blue is blue, someone is expecting can you guess who?' Everyone starting saying my name and looking at me and I got flustered and said, 'It's not me!" I wanted to say that I wish it was me. They didn't guess her because she's older and this will be her third. I don't know people assume you're done after 2 or a certain age. Awkward.
I thought of another one because it just happened. Whenever my husband wants me to brown some ground beef, he always asks me to "fry some hamburger." This is certainly a cultural thing like "soda," "pop," "coke," etc. and that's completely fine. I always just have this jolt of "fry a hamburger?" until a realize what he means. I get the visual weird feels. He's the first person I've ever heard to use the terminology of 'frying hamburger' to mean browning ground beef.
@soyloca - I think it would be a great way to meet some neighbors as well as experience some of the American culture. I say do it! Left over candy is certainly a benefit :-) The kids are super cute and if you continue to live here I see some TOT'ing in your future!!

That sucks. I'm sorry.

I blubbered cried all through the Beauty and the Beast musical last weekend. Hubs had to get the hanky out when the orchestra was warming up.
I'm sitting at work in my Belle costume as we speak.
I may have a problem.

I fell in love with the Belle wedding dress that Alfredo Angelo had a couple of years ago. If they had it when I was getting married, I would have bought it.
I may or may not have mentally started to design a true to Disney sketch of how to reconstruct her gown. But yellow was too literal and I figured it should be a deep gold. I could never find a fabric light enough to get the draping right that also had the same weight... for twirling.
My sister gave me a few pairs of her maternity pants a few months ago. Just in case type of thing. I have been wearing them this week.
I've gained a bit of belly weight and my other pants are feeling kinda' snug and I don't want to buy new ones.
Ugh I'm sorry about all the double posts. My web browser is being weird today...so if this gif doesn't show up, imagine it's Regina George saying "sweatpants are all that fit me right now."
How have I never heard of Woot before? This site is amazing! I'm buying a hand steamer right now to solve all of my ironing problems (really just 1 ironing problem, which is that I don't iron). Thanks @slappiness!

I just made myself a bowl of stove top macaroni and cheese with mozzarella cheese and added cajun seasoning. It's delish. I'm in sweatpants and a hoodie. I'm telling myself it's a little better for me because I made it from scratch. These are lies I tell myself, so I don't have to face the truths of my shrinking pants.
My H buys deodorant in multi-packs. I have been too lazy to buy any of my own, so I've been using one of his extra sticks for a few weeks. Also I like the smell. I smell like H all day.
Whenever DH deploys, I wear his deodorant for the first few months. It makes me better. I can't really describe it.
When DH was deployed, I always had him send me back a t-shirt after wearing it a little bit, and then I'd put it on my "cuddle pillow." I love his natural smell/deodorant :x
edit- missed a word
I do the same thing with DW! There is something very comforting about sleeping surrounded in their smell. :x

There is mother fucking SNOW on the ground. It's only October! Fuck off Mother Nature!
FFFC- I think I might skip Zumba this morning simply because I don't feel like dealing with snow right now.
ETA- @briannaescplan I stand corrected. Winter starts in October.
@Jags8 - Sorry a little late to the party and just read this. Two words. Fuck. That.

I forgot I have one more! We had to wear a costume to work today, and as part of my costume, I have a loaf of french bread. It has been sitting on my desk, and I am hungry. I have actually contemplated taking small bites out of the bottom - no one will notice right?!
Last night I couldn't be bothered to figure out what to make for dinner or make it. I waited until DH got home from his soccer game and made him make me popcorn. I had beer, popcorn, and Halloween candy for dinner. It was glorious.
FFFC1: I've never been to a gynecologist... until this week.
FFFC2: Upon meeting my new doctor, she asked me something about TTC and I immediately burst into tears just because it becomes more discouraging every month. Now I feel like an idiot for breaking down in the doctor's office and she probably thinks I'm crazy.
FFFC3: I had to look up 'gynecologist' to see if I spelled it right.
