@Jags8 - it was 73 on Wednesday but snow was forecasted for Sunday. Gotta love New England. Boo snow! It can't freeze until my gutters get cleaned - doesn't Mother Nature know that?!
My confession: today is CD1 and is the first time I've cried getting my period since TTC. As soon as work is over, I'm going to buy all.the.hard.cider and I'm going to configure a drinking game out of how many times my doorbell is rung by trick-or-treaters. DH will be home to man the door - see, I'm responsible.
If anyone else wants to play along tonight perhaps we could make a thread for this little game?

TTC #1: July 2014 Me: 31 DH: 29
DX (me): Inborn error of metabolism - protein restriction, metabolic formula & weekly blood tests
DNA Results (7/1): DH is NOT a carrier for my genetic disorder!
7/3: Metabolic clinic gave the green light to TTC - holy crap!
I don't know if this is a FFFC or UO, but I love whole milk. I had some left over from making Alfredo sauce last night, so I had it in my cereal. My college roommate thinks it is disgusting, so I have been drinking 1% since we lived together. I miss my whole milk and may have to go back to it.
I would be absolutely thrilled if I never saw my SIL again. She's a selfish, spoiled narcissist who acts less mature than my kids, and I'm tired of all the drama.
I suck it up for DH, who is truly the kindest, gentlest person I know and does so much to make other people happy.
But now there's a huge fight between the two of them. Long story short, after spending the last 5 Thanksgivings at his parents house (we have to fly there), and letting his sister run the show, and having his sister cause crazy stress when we visited this summer, we decided to stay home for Thanksgiving and invite anyone who wanted to visit to come to us. SIL called DH, told him she'd lost him as a brother, said he was ruining their family, etc etc.
I'm ashamed of myself, but I hope they don't make up, even though I know it will hurt DH. I'm just done with the psycho.

CD1 for me too, @wine&cupcakes. Throw some candy eating into that drinking game and I'm there!
My H buys deodorant in multi-packs. I have been too lazy to buy any of my own, so I've been using one of his extra sticks for a few weeks. Also I like the smell. I smell like H all day.

@littleliverpill serious question. Why is she coming to see you? Like, buisness conference and it happened to be in the same area as you, or she is coming just to see you?

I only buy whole milk. I think skim watered down milk is disgusting
All this talk of candy made me remember another FFFC: I don't really care for chocolate. Ok, I actually don't care for it at all. Sometimes I can handle a little in something (like moose tracks ice cream), but I can't just eat chocolate. Or chocolate cake.

I used the phrase "my stupid husband" a few weeks ago to a coworker and I still feel bad to this day. It was in a moment of exasperation of him losing his keys in my purse so I had to drive back home so he could go to work. I don't think my husband is stupid and love him so much. Saying something to the coworker would be silly because they probably don't realize or care and telling my husband would be hurting his feelings. So I'll just FFFC to you guys about my asshole moment.
My H buys deodorant in multi-packs. I have been too lazy to buy any of my own, so I've been using one of his extra sticks for a few weeks. Also I like the smell. I smell like H all day.
Whenever DH deploys, I wear his deodorant for the first few months. It makes me better. I can't really describe it.
When DH was deployed, I always had him send me back a t-shirt after wearing it a little bit, and then I'd put it on my "cuddle pillow." I love his natural smell/deodorant :x
Me and DH are not eating carbs for a month since my insulin level was 143 from my B/W....Been doing well for almost 2 weeks now with the whole no carb thing, however, last night was a weak moment. I caved and got a burger from Steak N Shake and it was sooo delicious. Back to the grind again today with no carbs and I already miss them.

FFFC, I hate speaking /singing in front of people. Husband talked about going karaoke tonight, I will just sit there and not sing as usual
I think most people feel this way. Does your husband know you don't enjoy going to karaoke?
Oh yes. He never expects me to sing. He actually is a good singer so I enjoy listening to him sing. Now if we go to a place with a private karaoke room or stay home and do Rock Band I can sing all night !
@littleliverpill: I can always be your vagina's superhero and send you stuff. We've offered before...but we could totally lube you up ;-) I work with children and am CORI checked so I wont stalk you. Promise.

I am very jealous of your getting Steak and shake. We don't have Steak and shake here, but I always went when I lived in PA. It is not uncommon for there to be a Steak and shake trip when we go home just so I can get my mushroom swiss burger
FFFC: First thing I look for when I log onto the bump are the little red "alerts" that someone might have mentioned me and when I see them I get super excited! If there are no little alerts, I feel sad. "> X_X

Damn you for talking steak!!! I'm only allowed 50g/protein a day...I miss delicious steak. Succulent. Tender. With a lovely Bearnaise sauce. And cheesy, melt-in-your-mouth scalloped potatoes. Cheese. I miss cheese too.

@littleliverpill, I would just straight up ask her to bring it. Give her like 3 things you'd love from the states, and just make a little joke about it. If you've known her since college, and she is seeing you, the worst it'll do is give her a chance to squee with you about ttc or tease you a bit. .

Haha! I got off easy yesterday in the UO thread thanks to the minimum wage debate and in part thanks to you and the princess debate
Our apartment building gives out stickers for people's doors who want to allow TOT's. We haven't asked for a sticker.
It's our first year living in the U.S. and where we're from, trick or treating isn't really done. I don't want to waste money on candy for OTHER people.
But now I'm having second thoughts and think it would be fun to get TOT's and drink for every Elsa we get...plus I'll get to eat all the leftover candy.

@soyloca - I think it would be a great way to meet some neighbors as well as experience some of the American culture. I say do it! Left over candy is certainly a benefit :-) The kids are super cute and if you continue to live here I see some TOT'ing in your future!!
FWIW, when I lived in Australia I dressed up on Halloween and held a costume party. Some people thought I was nuts but it was fun!
Edited to add: I posted about a TOT'ing drinking game in this thread. We should have a thread for it tonight!

Also, I may go out and buy a smaller bag to replace what I've eaten and not tell my husband about it.
