Coming from the pregnant lady that just sat in the drive thru waiting to order.... My UO is drive thrus should have $$ limits. I want 1pc of chicken and and a drink, but I'm stick waiting for 15 minutes because the jerk in front of me has a $30 family order, and must confirm all items with each individual in the mini van.

I'm pretty sure I'll change my mind on thus, but right now I'm pissed.
YES. And then people get pissed at us (the DT workers) and that's just not cool (especially when they add on a million things at the window). I'm sorry, jaz. :( it's the worst when you're the NEXT CAR IN LINE! So close! Yet so far!

LOL @foxslaw, I have, on more than one occasion, walked into Starbucks with Ella ranting about how drivethrus should be reserved for people with young kids!! The drivethru always backs out onto the street in the morning and there is no one in the store. Argh!!

LOL ah you poor thing. I don't envy listening to the BS.
It would literally take less time for these people to park, get out of their BMWs, walk in, get their coffee, and leave.
But noooooo. I have to haul my toddler out of the car so I don't sit in the middle of the street like an asshole. Such a tough life. Can you tell I've thought about this on more than one occasion?! ;)

Any day I don't get Splenda packets thrown back in my face is a good one. Haha. ;) though in all seriousness, @lizzybean, I can imagine having to wrangle Ella to & from the car and all that blah blah to be really annoying. Especially if the people who got brewed coffee just came inside, that would make the line so much shorter. Then you guys could just spend the five minutes you wait in line jamming to frozen, or Canadian yodeling tracks. Idk.
  • If you can't tell, I just imagine that you have the cutest life. @lizzybean‌

BAHAHA Canadian yodeling?! I don't think there is such a thing.. I'm lucky I live in FL now. If we were in the cold, my bitching would be wayyy more intense.

My UO: I like staying home on a Saturday night. That doesn't mean I'm not all about date night with DH, but at least once a weekend I love being home and doing nothing - socializing is exhausting!!

I don't think this is unpopular! The past few years, DH and I always try to keep a free weekend night. I feel so much better on Monday if I have an entire day to relax, catch up with stuff, and not need to be around other people.

  • I have zero desire to do anything tomorrow night. I'm not a big fan of Halloween.
  • My UO.. I hate people who make no effort to censor what their kids watch and listen to.
I watch all cartoons and movies before I let DD watch them. I also have a whole list of tv shows that everyone knows she better not be watching at their house and she knows she can't watch to. My mom never censored anything I watched or listened to. I knew way too much at way too young an age.

    My opinions on UO's

I hate when people judge whether you had a c-section, vaginal, epidural, no epidural. Who cares they all help the same thing which is having a baby. And I'm sure if a baby is brought into this world by you whatever thing you choose is a real birth experience.

I too hate Mcdonalds. Only thing I ever buy from there is sweet teas, frappes, and the occasional pie if they have an awesome flavored one in. If I'm running short on time I buy my coffee there because the chikfila near my work isn't anywhere near open when I'm driving.

mrsthadababy Seriously? I love the nightmare before christmas and so does my DD. Although I do let her watch beetlejuice the cartoon, the addams family, monster high, and I constantly beg her to watch goosebumps with me.
I also gave DD a minnie chucky doll of mine when she was about 3 because she was constantly snatching him and telling everyone he was her chuchie. I'm probably not the best role model. But I won't let her watch movies with sex & nudity, drugs, or violence so I got that going for me.

Hey, glad to hear I'm not alone! It's definitely unpopular in my house-- DH is the ultimate extrovert. (Case in point: he's out watching the FSU game with friends right now, I'm on the couch watching tv and bumping.)

I'm not against having a medicated birth. I guess some people will feel sorry for my children? ETA: words confuse me...

Me neither-and to be perfectly honest I don't give two shits what kind of delivery a person chooses-if scheduled c-section is for you, you do it! I don't get people who get all wrapped up in what others choose-their choice! It pissed me off a few weeks ago in the scheduled c-section thread that someone felt the need to question people's choices as to why they would have a scheduled c-section. Who cares if mama and baby are healthy?

So I guess my UO is I hate it when people who have never had an experience and are fairly limited in their knowledge of every hospital system in the world spout off what has been told to them as the end all be all. Oh and they aren't a medical professional. Man that pisses me off. /rant over (and I swear I am not a mad person, this stuff just gets my goat)
    @mrs.zee I think I lurve you!

  • @AF9211‌ I'm glad I'm not the only one! I ADORE my mil. MH drops our dog off at her house every day (can you say spoiled dog?) and I always look forward to chatting with her after work when I pick up the dog. She's seriously one of my favorite people!

My town has no drive thrus. Not allowed. It's crap. But they also don't allow us to pump our own gas, which makes for very little guilt when paying more to have someone pump it for you in the dead of winter.
Your town outlawed drive-thrus?  What kind of sacrilige is that?
