Do you all feel like you can tell what body parts are involved when your LO moves around? I can guess at smaller bonier movements being arms or legs and when I get the lopsided stretching to one side I imagine it's the baby's butt, given the head-down position baby was in at my appt last week, where the doctor did an in-office sonogram. Then again I'm not convinced the baby hasn't turned around since sometimes the lump feels hard and skull-like.
Yes! While I'm not positive I'm correct, I definitely picture what body parts are doing the moving!
@pooky08 I'm pretty creeped out by the alien in my stomach if I think about it for too long. It's just weird to think their is a human in there that could be on the outside functioning... And it hurts me haha
I can decipher a butt, kinda pointy but too big to be a knee. And I THINK I can identify a foot or knee when I get a crazy poking out kind of kick. All assumptions though.
@BrainCellSup I can tell head and butt, but that's about it. His head feels like a bowling ball pressing down super low.
I need that Bailey's in marshmallow shot RIGHT NOW!!! OMG, can you imagine the blood sugar reading after doing that?
I shudder to think!!

I showed the picture to my nutritionist today, and she agreed that it looks fabulous. Plus, she said that once baby is no longer attached I can drink/eat whatevs with no problems. SCORE! Signoff from my diabetes counselor to indulge after Baby Q arrives.
I sit a lot at for my job and it compresses the space he has so he almost always gets shoved up high and by the end of the day his butt is bruising my ribs.
Our little ritual is my drive home from work where I gently push his butt out of my rib. He responds by gut punching my innards. #truelove
First of all, this is hilarious. Secondly, I completely sympathize with the rib bruising pain. I also sit all day, and the pain at my ribs and around my back on the same level is unbearable. I haven't really tried pushing the baby away from the ribs, instead I find myself awkwardly arching backwards trying to create more space. It's a great look for someone who sits in a cubicle in an open office plan. I'll up the ante by trying the pushing though, see if I can freak out any passersby
I'm very intrigued by this drinking while breastfeeding discussion--I have so much to learn. So little time. Figuring this out will be a priority!

@chayshay1408, not my intention if you were looking at me! But we do sometimes get the newbs checking this board and I'd hate to see a new thread asking the question:
"I can drink and breastfeed all day without my baby getting any alcohol in the milk right?"
I think I'd have to hurt someone for sheer stupidy. Yes, I agree, those who drink and BF CAN do so safely without any harm to their baby as long as they use their brains.
I'm one of the rare birds here who maybe has 4 drinks a year and doesn't really care to drink (no judging, to each their own bottle) so the concept of drinking & BF just sends off my danger alarm...probably cause I've know idiots who DON'T pump'n'dump or give their babies brandy in a bottle to "soothe" them for sleep...
@Serunatu I think that the whole saying is, "If you're okay to drive, you're okay to breastfeed, just not at the same time."
Yup, I breastfed for over 2 years, and I always played by the "okay to drive, okay to nurse" rule of thumb. I never pumped and dumped -- the alcohol will metabolize out of your milk just as it will out of your blood.
@AJIrishMama beat me to the kellymom link I was about to post.
D14 November Siggy Challenge - How I Feel 3rd Tri:
Here's some f'd up news. I live in a small town, and the Humane Society here put out a notice to keep your dogs inside when you aren't home. There is some guy going around and stealing dogs out of people's backyards with one of those dog catcher poles. They think it is to use the dogs as bait dogs for fighting dogs.
How messed up is that!? My poor puppies are locked inside today (and it is finally beautiful outside and all they want is to lounge outside).
Halloween makes me nervous. It's semi well known that people do shitty things to black cats and pitties on Halloween. DF pit was poisoned about 5 years ago on Halloween with antifreeze. I used to love Halloween, now it's kind of a bummer.
@rshamos and @agsgrrl yikes, what is wrong with people? I'm sitting here with my cat on my legs, sad for it all.
On the other hand I love the exuberance in your DH's 'doodles' @misskilljoy! I wish I had a clear talent, and it sounds like he has that and more to spare.
Work was crazy today and I'm happy to have the bump to catch up on to help me decompress. Looks like some of these threads got busy in a potentially interesting way...

Ok off subject, didn't want to make a new thread.... I wanted to ask my dr yesterday but my dad decided it would be nice to come to my dr app with me. Anyone else have leaky boobies yet?? For the past week I would take my bra off and my nips would have a white film over them, then wed. After I took a shower I had the yellow/white colostrum streaming out.... Now I have now problem milking it out if I wanted too??? Sorry if TMI.... Just wanted to know if I'm alone!
Happy Halloween! I'm excited for so many things today--general Halloween spirit, seeing people in costumes, this being the last day I have to refill the candy bowl I instituted at my desk at work at on Oct. 1, Mexican food for dinner, and oh yeah, FRIDAY!
Hope everyone has a spooky great day.

Kinda jealous of all you ladies that have your pumps already I cant get mine until I deliver. I can go to the place and pick it up same day as I leave the hospital but really no one is ding that! Still would have liked to have it home prior to the birth to clean it etc and for if I had any questions since this one is gonna be different then the one I had for DD.
I'm at a vendor booth at a veterinary convention sitting in a terrible chair and now thanks to you all I need all the candies and cranberry gingerale...
Re: Hodor 2.0!!!

Kidding of course, but seriously she is freaking out and I have no idea why-it's hilarious and spooky all the same.
