Anyone ever get a salted caramel mocha from Starbucks? I just had one and the little salt peices on the caramel drizzle on top of the whipped cream is the best part. I don't even care about the actual mocha part
I've been having these this fall and I agree they are scrumptious! They have a nutty taste to me and though I don't usually go for the whipped cream I had it this weekend and yum!
Might need one today--I was up for an hour in the middle of the night, feeling overheated and just not able to sleep. Hello, Tuesday.
Also, my LO is the size of a durian fruit today and I'm finding it a curious choice by whoever made the list to include the food widely hailed as the world's stinkiest as a comparison point.
------- WITH SPIKES! Bc I want to envision a big, stinky, spiky fruit in my ute.
I don't know if we have any Western Canadian mom's on this board, but there is no hard cider as good as BC Growers! And second to BC Growers is Okanagan Cider.
While we're talking about yummy Starbucks drinks... this morning (on DH's recommendation) I got a French vanilla latte. It's both vanilla and hazelnut together. YUM!
Ooh this sounds good, vanilla lattes are my jam. Though I'd have to halve the syrup, otherwise it would be way too sweet. I like to taste the coffee - pre-decaf days I'd get a double tall instead of a grande just for the coffee taste, not the caffeine.
Ok, ok, also for the caffeine. But I like them better that way anyway.
@allitor12 did you get super dehydrated after all that frozen H2O?
D14 November, because I am finally not on mobile, how I feel in 3rd tri:
Omg, for those dealing with the sciatica flare ups, sooooo vist the chiropractor. I knew I was really off balance and was hobbling cause the pain was too intense in my right leg. Saw the doc, after the initital adjustment, just getting off the table, I felt instant relief. Now I'm walking like a normal person albeit with some lingering twinges. Well worth the money for a visit!

I'm from BC. Now I want a strongbow and a BC Growers apple cinnamon.

I'm at the waiting room of the car dealership getting a safety recall taken care of for my car, and there is popcorn here...somewhere. I haven't found it yet, but I smell it. My eyes are peeled.
EDIT: I just read the TMI thread, PEE JAR?! I don't want the popcorn anymore.
@ebilbao: everyone who I usually show my fruit/veggie of the week to has visibly recoiled when they see the picture. It's kind of hilarious.
On my to-do list, try all the variations of fall drinks from starbucks listed on this thread. I'm usually a straight non-adulterated latte/black coffee with a dash of milk person, but I have had a lot of fun making these my treat for the day (or second treat for the day). I usually go with the 1 pump modification so they're not too sweet and still taste like coffee, as @irish2014 mentioned.
My rib pain is getting to me today, can't wait for the next half hour to slowly drip away so I can go home already!
In the meantime, I'm off to read the craziness I missed today!

First, do you have a Hyundai? We had a recall on our car and they had popcorn there too!
Also, just read the TMI thread as well. Holy crap!
As far as the fruit thing...has anyone ever seen, touched, or smelled an actual durian fruit? Or heard of one before TB, for that matter? Funky.
Not in person, but it's come up a few times on the food network shows we watch and people never seem pleased to have to use it. Lol
---QB!!! F!!!---
It was in a basket on an episode of Chopped. That's how you know it's crazy...
@BrainCellSup I can usually swing two pump in a grande without it being too sweet, but I always get skim, so that hides the coffee less. I heard someone order a 7-pump something once and wanted to vom. Ew.

Yes. I can't even begin to describe the smell... Days-old garbage is the closest I can come to comparing it. I never got to taste it though. When I was in Thailand for a mission trip, they weren't allowed in public buildings, and were only sold in the open-air markets. For good reason...
@bluebird00 I also have only heard about it on food network shows and smelled it in chinatown--haven't tried it yet, though I'd like to!
@irish2014 7-PUMP?! Although I probably shouldn't judge since I've been practically mainlining nerds for the past two days. SUGAR RUSH. It really makes me feel ill, though. I have to stop. I will stop. (Will I stop?)
The pee jar thing in the TMI thread--you can't follow that kind of post. And I had a TMI saved up from last thursday and everything. Very tame. Very not as gross. I still don't understand why she doesn't dump the pee in the toilet instead of out the window. I just imagine she does it gleefully.

@rshamos I have a saturn, and was at a Chevy Keyes dealership!
this one was "I want to f*ck, are you coming to the bedroom or not?" conception
Those are good too. That's along the lines of the conversation DH and I had before said nooner.
DD2 was a "it took us 5 years to get DD1, so let's get started now in case it takes us a long time again" kid. One time. That's all it took after 5 frickin' years of infertility before DD1. We had our fun, then I rolled over and told the wall, "I'm going to get pregnant from this." I started testing 10 days later and DH though I was nuts. I just knew, though.

On the jug topic, I seriously don't want to know what's outside her house under that window.
Also, I'm such a klutz lately, I would sit on it or knock it over... And it has no top... Ew ew ew
Moscato DEFINITELY played a part in my lil girl's conception.
Remy Martin congac here. DF friend got it for his bday. Rough next morning.
DH accepted the offer yesterday, so it's back to work for him starting Monday. About damn time.
