    Here is the thing, if someone is not aware that the terms are not interchangeable, fine.  They come here, learn the difference and then can choose to either accept that knowledge and learn from it, try to do better in the future and educate others moving forward or they can get offended about being corrected and get defensive.  It doesn't have to be a big thing, take the correction and move on, there is no need to get so upset and start a big thing every time.  If it were me, I would simply apologize for not being better aware and then move on, doing better the next time, no need to try to argue for something that is clearly not an acceptable thing here.

    I assume you are talking about me, but I'm the one who is always called the troll. I have posed questions of how was I being such and such when the phone said things far worse. And no I do not recall having a post closed because of what I said. I don't recall saying anyone should leave, but did pose the question of why they would stay. HUGE difference! I've been told I should leave many times, but am still here. If I lose this baby, trust me, I won't be hanging around.
    i actually just re-read the thread in question (what can i say, i had a spare half-hour and i was bored).  what you said was, "wouldn't you be the troll, then?" to someone who said that she had been a jan'15 mom, but had a loss about a month earlier.

    spin it however you like, but you called a loss mom a troll.  you are not welcome.
    Basically you did my research for me to prove my point that I was the one being called the troll and posed the question as to why in their theory, they would be the troll not me.

    ETA: apparently you can only call certain people a troll (like me) who are pregnant and still due in J15. That doesn't mean I called anyone else a troll, just trying to figure out why it's constantly brought up that y'all call me one and it's okay, but when I pose a question that someone else, by their definition, may be one it's not okay.

    I'm pretty sure I have answered that question many times here. I'm not going away because I'm due in J15 and I belong here. I'm not going to be bullied out (and yes they way you treat me would be considered cyber bullying which is punishable by law now). I feel it's too important to state my opinion even if it's not PC. Just because something doesn't please everyone, doesn't mean it's not true, valid, or pertinent.

    Yes! and there are plenty of people who I have refused to hire or promote based on their foul language. I would argue that there is a pretty big difference in swearing like a sailor in a professional environment and swearing like a sailor amongst your friends in common chit chat. Obviously, keeping your language professional in a professional environment is necessary.  8-|

    I haven't hired anyone for my monogram business yet and really don't want to if I don't have to. I was in charge of hiring and weighed heavily on promotions when I was working in the corporate world.

    The best part was getting a couple of the employees arrested and sent to jail. :) They were hired before I got there. I knew they were up to no good within the first week of working.

    i think some of you need to get off the net and get on with your life...this is just too much drama for someone who has a family to tend to and a baby on the way. It is so scary to me that women with such lack of morals or common respect raise children these days...LORD HAVE MERCY!

    Yes. My pastor has even been preaching on this the past 2 sundays. Jesus didn't hang with the Pharisees, He hung out with the sinners and down trodden.
