@tweetyknicks I'm so sorry! Hugs!
AFM: still waiting in laboratory hell waiting for day 5 results. I put DH up to calling today (day 3) to see if they are even still going, but the nurse said they normally don't check until day 5 but she would see what she could find out. Cruel and unusual punishment.

I'm still not so patiently waiting for my beta on the 27th. My HPTs are still coming back negative so I'm a little prepared.
QOTD: It's not practical ... but if it was possible ... folding and putting laundry away.
So sorry @twentyknicks. I hope you are doing OK. I'm torn on your question. On the one hand, you're on the roller coaster so you may as well keep riding it. Not sure if it's relevant for you. But from an insurance perspective, I would like to get as much in while I have already hit my deductible for this year. On the other hand it might be nice to get through the holidays without worrying about drinking, doctor's appointments etc. And to give yourself some time to heal and regroup.
@Chicago - FX for you!
@LAO12 - Welcome! Wow 17 that's great! Also, to update your signature I think if you go to the top right of the screen and click the little outline of the head that says Account Options, there will then be a link on the left on the next page that says something about Update Signature.
@IfMamaAintHappy - Right here waiting with you! It's tough isn't it? FX y'all get good results!
AFM - We are currently waiting for our results on how many made it to freeze. Today is day 5 post ER, and I asked the nurse this morning if they would tell us today and she said somebody would tell us tomorrow. So one more day of waiting I guess!!
QOTD - I wish I could outsource making the bed. I have always hated making the bed when I get up in the morning, but it is so nice to have it all made up when getting into bed.
DH - 30, MFI - currently on clomid/vitamins
TTC #1 since September 2013
May 2014 - diagnosed with MFI
July 2014 - HSG - possible blocked left tube
August 2014 - Hysteroscopy/Laparoscopy - diverticulum on left tube but appears to be open and functioning
IVF/ICSI #1 - starting stims 10/3, ER 10/18 - Freeze all due to high E2 & risk of OHSS - 14R/11Fertilized/5Frozen
FET #1: expected 11/14
Hi Acorns! My OHSS is finally starting to subside and I'm feeling so much better. It's crazy how quickly it comes on. I was pretty miserable for two days and then it subsides quickly too. I'm feeling almost 100% back to normal. Now, we just wait for the PGD results and AF to show up again. Based on the PGD results, we will start planning a FET (I hope!).
QOTD: I would love to outsource cooking. At the end of the day, I hate having to cook.
@tweetyknicks - After my first BFN, we we did an endometerial biopsy and waited 2 weeks for the results while on BC and then jumped right back into another FET. Personally, I like to keep moving.
BFP #1: 1/4/13, EDD 9/8/13, Missed M/C confirmed 2/8/13, Misoprostol

FET#3 - February 1, 2015, Prep begins 1/13
All Welcome!
My DH has an interview on Monday for a big promotion and all I keep thinking of is that I'm probably heading for a Monday ER! Oh no!!
QOTD: I would outsource keeping my kitchen spotless. I would love that and it would free up a lot of time!
@Chicago I'm keeping my fingers crossed for you!
@IfMamaAintHappy I really hope you get some good news at the end of Day 5. Today was Day 6 for me and I got my final results, which were better than I expected. Now I am wishing the stupid doctor never would have said anything to me a few days ago about how all my embryos but one were not growing anymore. I was so upset I called out sick from work! I think it might be better not to know until the end!
@Callalily30 I'm so glad you are starting to feel better! FX for good PGD results!
@katemonster1 I really hope you get good news. Keep us posted.
AFM: Lots of ups and downs here! I've been so upset about what my doctor told me on Tuesday that I was dreading the call from the embryologist today. The doc really made me feel like we might walk away with nothing. The embryologist told me we have 2 grade BB frozen blasts! I was shocked! He said one grew great the whole time and one picked back up. He said the quality was good. I had to look up what BB meant and I saw there should have been a number attached to that, but he didn't give me one. He did say something with the word "expand" but I don't know if he said "expanding" or "expanded" blasts. Either way, I've decided I'm not going to worry about it. I'm just happy to have two embies on ice!
Thanks so much to everyone who offered me support and kind words last week! I really needed them. I think about you ladies all the time and I'm rooting for all of you.
@lilycakes78 wtf?! That is great news. I thought they told you only one was left, but now you have 2??? I hope I understood that right because that is awesome!!!! So happy for you.
My embryo update: First love and props to DH for not taking no for an answer and insisting that they could tell us something today (day 3). People do fresh transfers on Day 3 so I know they pay attention at this stage. The nurse went back to the lab to see if they would tell her anything and lo and behold she came back with good news: both still growing and within the range they should be for day 3. The range is between 5 and 8 cells and one has 5 and the other 6. I know we are nowhere near out of the woods left, but at least we are still in the game.

I had my ET today. We put in two fresh embies. It was a really neat process. The science of it is just so cool to me. Cautiously excited. I think we can all relate there. They gave me pics of the 2 .... There were many more cells than i thought lol. So we have those two and then 6 more that went to freeze. It was a much more comfortable procedure than I'd imagined too. iUIs were more 'painful'. So we are set for beta now 11/1. It's supposed to be 10/31 but that would involve me missing another day of wk. The office was fine with one day later.
Fx for everyone!
What's the earliest any of you did an at home and got a BFP?
Qotd- ooh so many things. Lol. I'd love to have someone that followed me around and picked up after me and kept everything neat and organized. I don't love ironing either.
Yes, the doctor told me on Tuesday that all but one had stopped growing and he wasn't sure we would have anything to freeze. I guess they don't throw them out even if they look like they've stopped growing and it seems one picked back up. I guess it was just growing really slow. I was shocked. When I told the embryologist what the doctor had said to me on Tuesday, he seemed a bit annoyed. I guess it's a moment-by-moment thing and maybe the doc shouldn't have said anything. I sure wish he didn't because I was so upset.
By the way, that's great news that yours are doing well on Day 3. I will keep my fingers crossed that they stay strong for just a couple more days.

@tweetyknicks if your heart is in it if the dr says okay i would fo for it. I've always known when i needed a break and when i needed to just keep on going.
Today is beta but i tested Tuesday and it was negative so I am preparing for a negative call.
Our "plan" was one more fresh cycle with pgd and go until we get a positive or run out of frosties but after some thinking I'm not sure i can do it again. We have said it wasnt meant to be we would move to adoption. If that's where we are heading I'm not sure i am okay with the cost of pgd testing. I have great insurance so we may still go ahead and just not do pgd as my Dr doesn't think it's my eggs or the embryos but that it's an implantation problem. It's so much emotionally though and we're just not sure what to do at this point.
QOTD i am so luck that DH has mild ocd and likes to clean and do laundry. The only thing he won't do is the bathroom so if i could outsource that, i would be one happy girl.
me: 39 DH: 36 dx: unexplained (ugh)
Good luck! I'm wishing nothing but the best for you. Sometimes it's quality over quantity... maybe you'll have a few less eggs retrieved, but they will be super eggs that do really well in the lab! I'll be thinking of you on Sunday.
***Loss mentioned*****
@saratrying - Best of luck on your ER Sunday. I agree, quality of quantity. Sending you positive energy to wherever you are!
@tweetyknicks - HUGS!!! So sorry to hear about your news. Not sure if you decided yet on how to proceed. I found out in March that 1. I was pregnant and 2. I lost the pregnangy + lost all chance of getting pregnant "naturally" I was devistated. I understand your pain and grief (like many of us here!). Listen to your body, it will tell you how to proceed. My DH and I chose to wait 6 months before starting the IVF process. Running is my out and I needed training to deal with my grief and accept my fate. I am also self pay for all IF stuff so we needed time to save $$ for this IVF cycle. For my DH and I, waiting was the best choice. I was able to heal mentally and get my body in the best place to go though this process. Whatever you decide to do, it will be right for you. Sending you strength and positive energy in coping with this.
Laura
We had our transfer yesterday. They transferred one 5BC. We probably have 2 to freeze...I'm just waiting for the phone call. I hope it works this time!

Beta came back today at 186!! I'm officially pregnant!! I go back Monday for a redraw so now just praying for that number to double.
Hugs to those that need them, there have been some updates that I just want to send creepy internet hugs to.
QOTW: I absolutely hate cleaning the bathroom. I wish hubby would do it but he would never clean like I do so it's just better than I do it my own OCD way.

Hi ladies, I know Im a lil late on the check in but better late than never!! I had a lil time, hopefully I got everyone so far...
@tweetyknicks hugs to you!! Hubby and I decided to take this past summer off from IF before starting IVF and it was the best thing we did!! Go on dates, be spontaneous, get out some sexy nighties and be a couple again. My hubby has supported me through thick and thin, and IF took a toll on both of us, he just held it together better, I didn't realize until we took time off how much he was hurting and needed a break too. IMO, find that spark with your hubby, enjoy the holidays, and start again in 2015.
@Chicago FX!!
@LAO12 Welcome!!
@IfMamaAintHappy FX!!
@aggiejess2007 Hoping you hear something soon, waiting sucks
@callalily30 Glad your feeling better
@katemonster1 FX!!
@CML11 my hubby switched jobs in the middle of stimming, I was a nervous/anxious wreck not knowing when things would plan out. FX for a great ER today!!
@erbear84 and @Sunny B Congrats ladies!!
@lilycakes78 I had the same thing happen, we had 5R-4M-4F(ICSI)- lost 1 embie by second day while remaining 3 grew to cells- I was stumped wondering if we would transfer 1 or 2 knowing we only had 3 to work with and I wanted a back up plan, we didn't find out until my transfer day that #5 decided to mature a day late was fertilized and doing great, in the end we transferred 2 and froze 2.
@obizyankaDon't you just love the pics!! My mom put a copy on her fridge already of her grandbabies!! There's nothing wrong with being a lil excited!!
@chicory my hubby has had WAY too much fun in that room, his first visit he decided to crank up the volume and leave it that way for the next contestant, his second visit he snapped a few pics of his "choices" and sent em to his brothers to help him decide which one to watch, he claims the room is really nice with a lazy boy and fresh material, hey whatever works.
@K1111K Good luck for ER, I was worried about numbers, I had 3 healthy follies and they got 5!!
@runforcookies Hugs!! Hang in there!!
@saratrying FX!! Hoping for a great ER today!!
@aliciafiggy FX!!
@tumbleweed123 Hang in there, I felt so out of whack the first few days.

@fayth4one FX!!
@CaringCat Hopefully Wed will be a good day for both of us!!
AFM: Im still hanging in there, Beta this Wednesday 10/29 and I have the whole day off to pamper myself and wait for the call. I have been super busy at work so it has helped the time pass by. Im having crazy pregnancy symptoms but I know it may just be a side effect from the meds, its just hard wanting to believe in every little thing!! On top of all the symptoms, Im exhausted all the time, this past week, I was so tired after work I've taken to naps soon as I get home. Hubby has had to wake me up to take my PIO shots and eat before going back to bed. He has been my rock through all this. Fingers crossed for good news on Wed!!
QOTW: I HATE DISHES!! I love to cook up feast but hate cleaning up the aftermath. My hubby hates when I bake, it becomes a storm of flour and measuring cups and spoons all over the kitchen. Recently I've been picking one day to do everything for a week, after shopping, I spend my afternoon I meal prepping, make all my breakfasts, lunches, dinners, snacks. Divide it all up and stock the fridge and freezer. Hubby is so grateful of my hard work he usually pitches in to clean up, and that ladies is how I get away with not doing dishes.
