F this night. Dd2 won't go to sleep. This is the 4th(?) time I've fed the small boy in the last hour. I think. I don't even remember anymore. He did so well last night, obviously that was an isolated incident. Thanks, baby. Oh and dh is snoring away.
After a marathon feeding at 1 am I go in to change a diaper. She shits all over changing pad. I pick her up to remove soiled changing pad and pjs and she shits all over me and the floor. DH took zzzquil tonight so no help and now guess who is wide eyed. Awesome.
I hate how I'm always falling asleep while feeding LO and then by the time I get done pumping... I'm wide awake. ugh and now she's passed out and so is hubby. I need to get better at falling asleep quickly
The baby is constipated. He had a hard poop tonight. He was doing ok on the similac sensitive but apparently not the target brand. I feel like an ass. Has anyone else dealt with this?

My LO is in Similac sensitive and she still has soft poops. Every baby is different though and digests differently.

With DD when we were changing formulas she got constipated. My pedi said put a tablespoon of any juice that starts with a p in her bottle. Pear, pineapple, prune, and I always used real fruit.

Did the constipation eventually stop? Wondering if we just need to give it time

@bella2425 we had a little bout of constipation, but the ped wasn't too concerned because it was soft. Now she's pooping just fine (just less often than most babies). I WAS told to call if the poop was hard... so I'd call the ped, just so they know what's going on. They'll probably just suggest the juice thing, but it's good that they'll know in case you have troubles down the road.
I really appreciate DH slamming the bathroom door ten seconds after I put DD in her bassinet. I give him the are you fucking kidding me look and then he gets an attitude with me. I wanted to throat punch him. I really hope this isn't how tonight is going to be.
LO went to sleep at 11 with no issues. I was totally hoping for a repeat of last night, where she slept for 5 hours. She is up now and its only 1. This makes me sad. Good thing there is coffee.
LO is full and passed out next to me. He must have some major gas because he's grunting and flailing his arms like crazy. Poor kid, but I can't sleep so pass that gas already!

After about a day it returned to explosive poop. The she was regular again.
I have girl crushes on every one of you that told me these beautiful secrets... Baths before bed and the white noise app with the hair dryer sound... 5 straight hours... Of sleep... First time... Eva..
LO just slept 6.5 hours in a row. Last Friday and Saturday nights, she went 5 hour stretches. Don't get me wrong, I'm grateful for it, but why does she only sleep in long stretches on the weekend when my husband stays up so I can get a little sleep? Once Sunday night rolls around and I'm on my own, I'm sure she'll be back to her 2.5 hour max stretch.
Why is DH's solution to everytime she cries to feed her more? Anytime she's crying and he has her he wants to give her two more oz. even if she just had her normal four oz thirty minutes before. She's tired not hungry. Rock her for five more minutes and she'll be asleep I promise.
LO decided to eat every hour instead of her usual 5-6 out of the blue after a normal day. DH said growth spurt to me. This mama is really cranky and really want to punch him just for saying those two words.

I'm in the same boat. DS is 6 weeks and he's been up nearly every hour tonight. Ugh
I punched DH this morning for waking me up at 8:30 after finally getting an hour of sleep. Then he threw a crazy toddler on me and got punched again. His defense "i wanted to take you to get donuts" bullshit.
I really appreciate this thread and you ladies. You keep me sane, probably because misery lives company
I feel like I'm seeing a shift where more mommas are getting longer stretches of sleep and while I'm green with envy, I know my turn is coming soon.
Hugs to all ♡
I'm going to continue being green with envy until December, unless I break the ped's rules and let her sleep longer than 3 hrs at night. So I'm right there with you *sigh* the joys of a tiny baby
Wtf is wrong with me. After a horrible night last night because DS was overstimulated from being at grandmas Friday, DH let me nap after work today for a good 3 hours. And now the two are sleeping in the guest room ... I'm wide. freaking. awake. right. freaking. now. And I work at 7 again tomorrow.
DH and DD are sleeping. I'm wide awake. Wtf is wrong with me? So I'm meal planning and prepping to go to the store tomorrow. I'm hoping this is boring enough to make me sleepy.
Fell asleep with LO at the boob in the rocker, for a good 2 hours. I love my boppy for MOTN feedings. I feel safer laying LO in my boppy and leaning back into the rocker. He doesn't move and neither do I
She went down at 9:30. Slept until 2:30. Went down super easy and now it's 5:30 and she's awake again. I was hoping for a longer stretch again but I'm thrilled she gave me as long as she did
Got home from our Halloween party a little after midnight, fed the boy around 12:30, asleep a little after one. He didn't wake up until almost 5!!! Thank you, little dude. Pumped some because ouch, started laundry (thinking wtf are you doing while doing this), changed him, fed him, now I'm wide awake. And pissed as dh snores away. [-(
I know it's not the middle of the night, but I feel as tired as if it is. And DH has picked 90 day fiancé, and I really don't have an opinion one way or the other on long distance relationships, but I'm seriously horrified for some of these people! Some of them seem super fragile, and some seem incredibly strange.
So LO threw up like everything he ate. Cleaned him up, changed his clothes, he went right to sleep. It's been an hour and I can't decide if I should wake him to let him eat again, stay up because he'll prob wake up hungry soon anyway, or say eff it and TRY to sleep. My mind just needs to stfu.
My baby is gassy and constipated and won't eat more than an ounce or two before screaming in pain and refusing any more. Nothing I have tried is working. I feel like the biggest piece of shit on the planet because he's so miserable. Please lord let the doctor have some suggestions in the morning.

My daughter got like that and the only thing that worked was laying her tummy first over my leg and thumping her back. It's the only thing that kept the screams to a minimum
I have fucked up my back somehow. I thought I had just slept wrong last night but now I want to scream everytime I pick up my 10ish lb DD. Its going to be a long week if this stabbing pain everytime I move doesn't go away.
