    @nariadreaming - that is horrible and he should be ashamed of himself.  Why get people so upset when it is not even published yet.  I wouldn't trust that study also.  They need to truly look at women whose BMI are over 35 for a study on its own.  Not this 5% of the study crap.  Sorry he upset you.  I am willing to throat punch him if you would like!!!

    IVF #2 - March 2014 - Mini IVF - Retrieved 5 eggs, 4 fertilized, 4 Frosties - 8, 9, 7, and 7 cells all in good condition. 
    IVF #3 - May 2014 - Mini IVF - Retrieved 2 eggs, 2 fertilized, 2 Frosties - 6 and 8 in good condition. 
    FET #1 - September 2014 - Transferred 2 embryos - both 8 cells - BFN

    @NariaDreaming Vent away!  That would have irritated me too.  Are you even using donor eggs? (Sorry I don't know your full story.)  I do think more research needs to be done on weight.  My RE and I discussed me loosing weight.  My BMI was 38 during my first IVF.  According to my RE, age still has greater effect on success rates than weight.  I'm doing the shared risk program (6 fresh + unlimited FET).  So, we are cycling now and then if necessary spacing future cycles 4-6 cycles apart.  That way I don't have to wait an ridiculous amount of time to try to loose enough weight to be in normal BMI category.  I am doing what I can to loose.  My goal is to drop a BMI category before each cycle.  Good luck to you!  Hopefully your RE will back off and this will be it for you!

    Off BC since Febuary 2006 3 Clomid Cycles in 2008- symptomatic, US just showed a tilted uterus, otherwise normal, HSG normal.  DH has an ejaculatory duct obstruction and a congenital absence of the vas deferens.  This is common with cystic fibrosis carriers, but he doesn't have cystic fibrosis. IVF #1 with TESE/ICSI (Antagonist protocol) Aug 2014=BFN (poor embryo quality)   IVF #2 ICSI long lupron protocol November 2014

    Hi ladies, apologies for the MIA-ness-- works been a bitch. I'm also in limbo waiting for PGD results (STILL WAITING---- it's been 3 f'ing wks!) and awaiting our calendar.     DH- 29, low count due to a chromosomal abnormality, only option is IVF/ICSI with PGD.

    IVF/ICSI #1 ER 9/14 - 14R, 6M, 6F, 5 blasts off to PGD- 1 normal female, 2 balanced males

    FET 12/8 of 2 frosties - 1 male/1 female - stick babies stick! 

    Beta #1 10dp5dt 444! Beta #2 14dp5dt 2,340!  U/S 1/5-- TWINS!!!  EDD 8/26/15

    bloodwork retested and results normal
    06/2014: 1st monitored cycle with RE: Clomid cd3-7 (no growing follies), 
    Femara cd 10-14 (2 follies), ovidrel trigger cd17, IUI, bfn, polyp discovered during u/s
    07/2014: polypectomy
    08/2014: Follistim (50-75 iu/day) cd 2-14 (2 follies), Ovidrel cd15, IUI, crinone
    10/2014: IVF #1, 14R, 13F, 8 blasts. Freeze all due to super enlarged ovaries and a week of bed rest

    I am so sorry that you had to go through this @NariaDreaming, he had such a hateful behavior... as cokiebear said he should try to make your life easier, less stressful, and not this...  X(

    Hi. I'd like to join this group. I started stims last night for IVF #2. I'm doing the Estrogen Priming Protocol so I started the patch and three days of Ganirelix last week. Looks like retrieval will be very early November. Really really hoping they get more eggs than IVF #1.

    IVF #1 July '14, 4R/4M/3F   2 8 cells transferred on day 3, nothing made it to freeze, BFN 
    IVF #2 Nov '14 EPP stimmed for 12 days 9R/4M/4F   2 7 cells transferred on day 3, nothing to freeze, BFN
    IVF #3 May '15 cancelled after highest possible meds dosages for over two weeks. converted to IUI, BFN

    @nariadreaming How terrible! Do you mind if I ask where you are cycling? I too am fat...I don't know my BMI but, I know I am heavy..I have a mirror. I have asked several times if my weight was related to my m/c's and every time my doctor said "NO". He said overweight and too skinny women get pregnant and have babies all the time. 

    I have, however started on a low glycemic diet to combat the insulin issues associated with PCOS, PCOS weight gain and poor egg quality. FX for that. 

    Soooo, and update about me. Dh and I met with genetic counselor yesterday to talk about PGS. After speaking with her and my doctor we all decided to hold off on IVF until after the new year. :( I am still stuck with a beta in the 30's that refuses to budge from my previous m/c 3 weeks ago. FML. So a november cycle is out with window, and the embryology lab at Cornell shuts down mid Dec. for state mandated cleaning and inspection. With all these attributes floating around we are going to give the diet a shot and begin IVF in the new year. I am sad to not be a turkey anymore, but if its ok, I will update you with my weight loss milestones instead of my IVF ones. I will also be cheering you all on from the bench!! So sadly, you can move me to the cancelled column.

    TTC: 4 years.
    Me: PCOS. Polyps.
    DH: Low morphology and motility.

    TTC naturally - 1yr.
    4 IUI with metformin - All BFN. 
    Changed ER.

    IVF # 1 - 6 blasts made it to freeze. Transferred 1 fresh blast. Low first beta, but rose appropriately. Bean made it and we heard Heartbeat!! Sadly Bean couldn't hold on. Heartbroken. M/C.

    FET# 1- 2 beautiful blasts transferred.1st beta- 6. Chemical. :(

    FET # 2 - 2 beautiful blasts transferred. 1st beta - 74. #'s rose appropriately. Ultrasound found Sac and fetal pole! Sadly bean couldn't hang on. M/C. Devastated. 

    One frosty left. 

    IVF#2 - ER Scheduled for November. We will be doing PGD. Transfer most likely JAN 2015.

    CRMhoney that you had to postpone your cycle. Yes, please, keep us posted about you! I will have my fingers crossed that January will be your lucky month. ((hugs))

    I'm sorry, @CRMhoney Being benched for a loss sucks so much. I would love to hear weight loss updates from you though! I hope that goes well. :-)
