*****I'm locking this thread down tomorrow evening (Tuesday) around 6 or 7 p.m. EST) and I'll post match-ups PLUS a list of people who would like to match themselves up so they can maybe choose among each other by Wednesday evening. IF YOU HAVE ALREADY MATCHED YOURSELF, PLEASE LET ME KNOW SO I DON'T DOUBLE-MATCH YOU UP. Sorry for the all caps, but important!!

If you do not wish to have a labor buddy, no harm, no foul. If you DO, please respond to the following questions.

1. Would you like to choose your own labor buddy, or would you like to be matched up?

2. What time zone do you live in?

3. What is your EDD/RCS date etc..?

4. Any other info you feel is relevant/that needs to be considered?

1. I'm fine either way(I think?). I'm slightly nervous about being matched up and giving my number to somebody that I don't recognize. But I'm also nervous about being rejected if I ask somebody via PM. It's quite the pickle!

4. I like donuts, chocolate and gift cards to Target. I would not be upset if my labor buddy wanted to send me one or all of these things.

1. I would like to be matched up, although there are 2 members I think would be a good fit. Maybe I could ask first, and if they aren't for it then be matched up with another member.

2. Live in MA so, eastern time.

3. EDD is 1/15/15 ( with possibility I could go 2-4 weeks early due to hip issues, SUA and IUGR).

4. I agree with all the other PP. That I would like to be matched with someone (if I can't get a LB on my own) that is more of a regular poster, that I will recognize and feel more comfortable giving my contact info to.

Also so that when I do go in to labor and need/want them to inform J15 I know that they will.

I haven't been super active on this board, even though I was on my previous boards... I even ran a a checkin for ttcal ladies who were trying for a sibling. I hope a having a labour buddy would encourage me to become more active in posting again!

Those of you who are saying you might not be comfortable sharing your info with a random person, I'm probably not going to officially match you up. I'll probably share a list of people who feel that way and/or simply want to pick their own. That way, you all can contact each other. I don't want to get into matching people up who then refuse to share any contact info with their buddy because that will defeat the purpose.

EDD is 1/26 but I'm going to have to have a scheduled C-sec. So I'll probably be about a week before that date.

1& 2- Im living in Thailand So if there is anyone who lives in Asia/Australia and is even close to my timezone (12hours before eastern, after the clocks fall back) I would love to be matched up! If you live near me and want to PM me that would be great too!

Oooh you're likely to get snatched up with that list lok. I substituted sour patch kids in my mind. Then when I reread I realized just sour candy in general. That sounds good right now!

Looking good. I'm keeping score.

I will announce a "last call" sometime next week and then I'll do match-ups along with providing a list of people who would like to choose their own buddy and see if I can help them help themselves, if that makes sense.

I want to also say for the record that once I do the match up, I'm passing the buck. If anyone new comes along and would like a "buddy", they will need to find their own. I hope that doesn't sound harsh, but this is a one time deal for me lol.
