I used to really love sleeping. I loved that feeling of waking up rested and ready to attack the world. Now, I've come to dread it. I wake up at bizarre hours and naps during the day don't even help.
Hopefully LO gets here before thanksgiving and I can pass him off to my mother so I can indulge in a massive turkey induced coma.
@IndianaMommy08 - hugs to you, Mama. Try and rest for a few hours, you have a lot going on and need to try and sleep even if it's just a little bit.
It's going to be a loooooong week and I just want to crawl back in to bed!
I had a really tough time with my grandpas death a few years ago. I don't know if it sounds silly but I wrote a letter to him telling some of my favorite memories and what he meant to me. I read it to him and even though I don't know how much he heard, for some reason it really helped give me closure.
Just not comfy, and some heartburn. I'm not sure what actually wakes me up though.

Good morning, ladies!
I managed a full night's sleep last night. I think it had a lot to do with the new pillow fort formation I've been using as a nest at night. Baby hasn't dropped yet, so I still only need one pee break a night.
I'm so effin' sick of political ads. NC has a big senate race this year, and I can't handle the 15 ads that come on during each break while I watch the morning news. Besides, I already sent in my absentee ballot. You're not changing my mind, you're just making me angry.
It finally feels like fall outside. I'm going to have to wear socks today. If I can get them on.

@heisenberg - Have fun at your sono today! My husband also only comes to ultrasound appointments. My doctor's office is like 10 minutes from my work so it's easy for me to just run there during my lunch hour.
@aragosta - Thinking of you and Will today and hoping he does well off the vent!
I had a really busy weekend and I am worn down! We didn't get nearly as much stuff moved back into the house as we had hoped because our painter SUCKS and didn't finish in time. He said he still needs a couple more days. There's a Monday Bitchfest dying to be written about him. But we did get to sleep in our own bed, in our own home last night which was marvelous!
@aragosta - lots of prayers for your little Will!! Breath, little guy!
@uncharted01 - I totally get the feeling of finally getting to love in your own house and sleep in your bed again! Hopefully your painter finishes things quickly!
We finally are back from the conference we were at...this is a trip I have been dreading since we bought the tickets! But it wasn't too bad...I was just up and down a lot to pee, walk and drink water. Felt so good to come home and be DONE with trips...we had four planned from the end of Sep. to the end of Oct!! I am so ready to be home til LO is born! Only 27 days to my due date!! Eep!!

@FhSTAR81 I randomly thought of you during one of my insomnia episodes last night lol. Probably a stupid question, but curious... does your HG instantly flip a switch & go away as soon as you deliver? I hope so! Didn't know if it lingered w/ PP hormones or something. You must be so over it by now!

You know what I think would be an awesome enhancement for the bump, is a way for you to save your favorite threads somewhere. About a month ago or some someone mentioned an app for editing pictures on iPhone and I cannot find it.. And now I want the app.

You guys!! I got so much sleep last night!! I was able to get comfy again and fall back to sleep. I feel like a new person right now.
This is my last week of work as well. Actually, today is my Thursday. Tomorrow is THE day! It is definitely bitter sweet.

@mseymou19 I completely agree on the Snoogle! I got it around 22 weeks when my back started hurting at night and have relied on it since. I'm planning to send my sister one as soon as she gets pregnant.

I just blow dried my hair! Such an accomplishment. I had to get my hair dryer out of my hospital bag, but thought it was necessary since I'm getting a new driver's license picture today. A nice dinner out with friends tonight was just extra motivation, and now I have an excuse to skip the gym too.
Since when do I snore? This is ridiculous. I guess it's just the pregnancy swelling, but it's waking up my hubby. I've had to resort to the tape-like nasal strips. It reminds me of that Modern Family episode.
A gift arrived with absolutely no information and it wasn't on our registry. Hubby is going to call the company, but it's a wholesaler so I don't anticipate much luck.
@KUinCBUS - I hear you. My 4 yr old dumped all the pieces to 4 different puzzles into a box and is now throwing a fit because I told her to put them back. Even the promise of Raisinets is not enough bribery this morning.
About to get ready to go to DD1's parent/teacher conference with DH and DD2. Not expecting anything big other than her math. She is having a really hard time with it this year and DH and I aren't sure why. Hopefully the teacher will have some advice for us.
I purposely timed the conference so it would end close to DD1's lunchtime so we get to have lunch with her, too! Little did I know when I signed up for it a month ago that this would be DH's last week in town, so now it's extra special.

@flutterbuggie I've been getting acupuncture now for a bit and its really not that bad. I don't do the best with needles so I just close my eyes. There are some spots that are definitely painful but the pain is more like a little sting and goes away quickly. If it hurts though, it means you needed that point!
Ladies I am soo beyond exhausted I want to break down and cry!!
I think I'm going to leave work early today! My last day in the office is Thursday (Thank God almighty!)
So my countdown is now:
1 week left in the office
2 weeks till my mom and grandma get here
3 weeks till my RCS!!!
@ashris I'm ready for the weekly Goals check in... I feel like I was fairly productive this weekend!!
But still soo much left to do!!
By the way, at the car clinic we went to they said that the seat protectors are actually not good because it makes the car seat slide and they said that the mirrors to see your children are no good as well; she said I might as well be texting.
I am about to go full clean our car...when we were in Dallas last weekend, we parked our car under a tree, down town, and the birds pooped ALL OVER IT! It looks disgusting, ugh. There was a lot of ground around there, birds, why my car?
@indianamommy08 - glad to hear your appointment went well and that you got to spend some time with your grandmother. Try to get some rest - it'll make a big difference!

My random: Do any of ya'll have any sneaky tricks for this baby that is all up in my ribs? I am so uncomfortable I could cry! I can't eat more than two bites without feeling like it's just going to come right back up. I can barely breathe. I seriously just sat in Jason's deli for an extra 10 minutes because I didn't think I could get up and walk out after eating a cup of soup. Is this just something I have to wait out or am I missing out on some wonderful tip to relieve this pressure? I go to the dr tomorrow but don't feel like being uncomfortable at 35 weeks warrants a call... ugh the misery!
