Okay where are the Walking Dead fans. What is everyone's thoughts on last night's episode?

**spoilers below**

I originally wanted to title this post "Bob-B-Que" but that would have given to much away. I firmly believe Bob was bitten at the Food Pantry, especially because of how he was acting in the church with Sasha. Why didn't he just own up to it and off himself? Now his leg is roasting on a spit!!

Father Gabriel definitely has a dark side. I think it's pretty obvious that he's done some shady things. I think he didn't allow his "flock" or people in the town to take shelter in the church. That's why there are markings on the side of the church and why he says he sins every day.

I'm waiting for the day Rick follows through with killing Gareth. That guy is fucked up. I get what they went through but now they eat people, and I guess like it. It's a great justification.

Hopefully Daryl & Carol find Beth...in one piece.

What are your guys's thoughts? As long as they don't show a walker eating Judith, I'm pretty safe till the next episode.

this episode wasn't as thrilling as the season premier, but it sets up a lot of questions to move forward. even though these episodes aren't as exciting, i do really enjoy them.

i'm curious to find out who stole beth. i had almost forgotten about her.

i get all the feels in the world when Tyrese looks at or thinks about Judith. i love that man. he is her protector.

and i'm pissed it looks like he didn't actually kill that guy in the house. i thought he beat that man to death. dammit.

Maybe he thought he killed him just because he did beat the crap out of him, but I have a feeling he eased up on purpose. Curious as to where that will leave him with the rest of the group.

I thought that Father Gabriel would have stolen Beth, but DH pointed out that we last saw Beth she was in a medical facility? I'm familiar with some of the comics, but I'm drawing blanks on this one. I thought they might have found her at Terminus..with parts of her being cooked.

Definitely gave the impression Bob was bitten, the whole basement scene was very gorey. Only 6 more days until the next episode!

I absolutely agree, Bob was either scratched or bitten. He was acting shady (and also crying alone by a tree... weirdo)

The last we saw Beth it was when she and Daryl were bonding over moonshine, I thought? And she got taken from there? Or .... I just don't remember if that developed further cuz who cares about Beth.

The priest seems shiesty. Can't wait to figure out what his deal is. I'm totally in the camp of he didn't open the doors to his congregation when they needed somewhere safe to go.

Looking forward to the rest of the season!!

How are feeling about Morgan? I think he might pull a Carol and show up at the right moment and save them all. At least that's what I'm hoping.

I would love to see Beth reunited with the group...her character could use some development, but I have a soft spot for some of the long time characters and wouldn't mind a gushy reunion. It also seemed there was an inkling of "something" beginning between her and Darryl which could be an interesting twist to whatever is or isn't going on with him and Carol.

I would agree that Bob was injured in some way in the basement scene and that he knows it. It also seems pretty clear Gabriel refused to allow people (probably his parishioners) into the church when shit hit the fan. He seems shady!

On a side note, DH and I are obsessed with discussing apocalyptic scenarios and our DH is 14 months (not an ideal companion in an apocalypse). I always tell him "if we have to flee here in a hurry because of a zombie apocalypse, grab the fucking Ergo carrier...DS would be heavy as hell to lug around the woods!" Haha!

Let's do this every week...please!??

I definitely believe bob was bitten! After he had too Sasha "one more" for the kiss and walked outside without telling anyone. And now this is a stupid question but by the hunters eating him can they turn or do they just have to be bitten?
I also agree that the pastor is up to something. Bc of what was written on that church "you'll burn for this" he absolutely didn't let his members inside when they came to the church for salvation when it all started. And the zombie in the store that came after him must've been one of the ones he turned away.

Absolutely agree to every week!

Also DH and I started our zombie plan just in case shit hits the fan...it first started out as a fire plan and slowly became an apocalypse preparedness plan lol! Totally normal!

DH and I talked about eating "tainted flesh" last night. DH believes that since it is so early and they cooked it they should be fine. I'm hoping they all turn. Stupid Bob, why didn't he just own up to being bitten? If it was soon enough they could have hacked off the limb. It worked for Hershel.

I think the zombie in the store is someone he was having an affair with. That's why he had the picture in his desk.

I don't blame them for not rehashing the story of the girls. A little too dark in the time of a big happy reunion (or ever.... that shit was screwed up!)

If Beth makes it back, she and Daryl are definitely making out. Which I could take or leave.

So my husband and I came up with a theory last night. When Bob joined the group he was an alcoholic and said he left another group. What if the group he left was from Terminus?! That would explain why when the guy was eating hin he said it was a funny twist of fate that they were eating him.

We totally thought Bob was outside to kill himself but he was taken before he could.

Also I'm torn about him locking out his congregation. If I was trying to find a safe place from zombies I would try a whole lot harder than a few scratches with a knife to get in.

But wouldn't that also mean that Bob knew what Terminus was the whole time? Why would he have let the rest of the group head that way? If he knew their game plan I don't think he would have walked his new friends and saviors into be eaten...

Miluiel07 Holy cow I never thought of that. That would make a lot of sense. He said he was with a larger group but then he was all that was left. Maybe he was there in the beginning, when they were overrun the first time and he escaped/left. I don't know why he'd head back, but it is possible.

I had the dry heaves when Gareth was eating that big chunk of Bob steak. I told my husband last night that I would survive on tree bark and grass before eating a human. Super creepy and disgusting!

I was so excited when I saw the car with the cross that had taken Beth. I know she's alive because they showed her being held captive (maybe tortured?) in the season sneak peak. She's a bad ass and will definitely escape somehow.

I can see why they would want to forget what happened with the girls...that was such a tough situation (even to watch). They did the right thing though, there is just no place for the type of instability the older sister displayed, it's too dangerous. It was extra difficult because they were kids, if she had been an adult it would have been an easier decision to make. I can't imagine Carol not telling Daryll eventually.

That is what we were trying to figure out last night too. Maybe he was scared to admit it? Ohhhh or or maybe he was part of the group that attacked Terminus and didn't know what they had become!!

Since everyone has the virus in them already, they wouldn't turn just from eating tainted human meat. They have to be bitten or die first then they turn. But I think you're right that they may have saved him from turning since they cut off the infected part.

Ugh that ending was gross! I agree that Bob has been bitten. Hope all the Terminus people freak when he tells them...I didnt think about him being from Terminus...maybe before they took over? Could he have been a part of the earlier group that kept the cannibals captive?

I think that the reason why Gareth was excited that they found Bob to eat was because Bob and his friends escaped and basically to them blew up Terminus. The only person there that saw Carol or knew any of her involvement was the group, not the Terminus people. I don't think that Bob was from Terminus. I didn't think about it until it was brought up here though. If he was apart of the group that kept Gareth and Mary and them captive though he would have known they were bad people and wouldn't lead the group there. The group that held Gareth and them captive raped people. I don't think he would bring the group, especially Sasha, into that.

I also think that if Bob was bitten, he was bitten in a spot that couldn't be hacked off and saved like they did with Herschel. Although, I can't remember but did Bob know Herschel? Maybe he didn't realize that was an option. Maybe he just wanted to die alone and not be a burden.

Loving this thread!! All of the theories are great and make me excited for what is to come. I always make my dog lay on the couch and watch it with me, because I'm a wimp! This was his face at the end of the episode last night haha I was like, yup, I feel ya man, that's messed up!

Yeah I admit I'm confused why he wouldn't say anything either way but the comments that were made sure made it seem like they knew each other. My husband remembers Bob saying that he used to be part of a group but they were all dead now and he escaped. So maybe he left Terminus before knowing what that group became but after knowing that his whole group was dead?? *shrugs shoulders*

@lindsayanne14‌ if you and the hubby like apocalyptic stories you should read "One Second After." Great book! EMP not zombies but SO interesting!

So excited to see what this season of Walking Dead holds. My husband said we are supposed to learn the back story of the Terminus family.

-Agree that Bob was bitten.
-Leg eating = vomit
-Saw Beth in the previews on a previous episode with another woman but it was hard to figure out the context/location.
-I also had missed the Sasha/Bob coupling?? Was super shocked when they kissed.

The hunters were in the comics, but it was supposed to be DALE's leg they were eating, not Bob's. So the writers changed that a bit, through us for a loop. Also, I hope they don't have Beth and Daryl get together. That gives me the heebies for some reason. I just don't really care for Beth. She's more of Carl's age, anyway...

I'm definitely on the same boat of Bob was bitten, or scratched, or something. BC before they took him, he was acting so weird! So I'm hoping that since they decided to have shish-ka-Bob (see what I did there) that it'll have some type of effect on them. Father Gabriel freaks me out, I don't think that the girl in the picture was his wife, I think there's something else to that story. BC of the fact that when zombie her was coming after him, he just laid back and was going to let her eat him. I also think that he shut everyone out from the church and they were the ones that were scratching on the walls and everything to try and get back in, but ended up getting eaten, so he feels guilt for that. He's creepy, for sure. They're saying there's going to be a villain this season that is worse than the Governor and Terminus put together. Speaking of Terminus, I HATE THEM! And did ya'll see in the background, that the kid that tried to kill Judith was sitting there? So it was only made to look like Tyrese killed him... UGH. SO stressful. But I'm so glad that this season has started out so good, I hated last season!!
