Anyone planning a baby moon? We are going to Disney world in January with my then three year old. I'm going to miss going on the roller coasters, but I love Disney nonetheless

Re: Babymoon
big fan of Disney, and maybe that is coloring my reaction, but that does not sound like an R&R trip before baby. When I hear baby moon, I think of the mom and dad spending time together in an exotic locale before baby comes.
And no. We aren't taking one. I can't drink, so we don't really see the point. We will be going to Las Vegas, Tahoe (twice), Scottsdale Arizona, and to our cabin several times during the pregnancy, but we aren't counting those as baby moons. I want to save my PTO to use in conjunction with maternity leave.
We already had a Christmas trip planned to St Martin so I am calling that a babymoon. Also I just booked a weekend trip to Boston since we have wanted to go for a long time and I figure now is the best time before baby and before we excitedly move our butts back to California from the East Cost.
Honestly if a saw another good deal pop up in the next few months I will probably jump on that too - we really like traveling

Trade off is that family won't get to meet the baby right away.
Whistler is snowy and had a cute village (feels like Switzerland), lots of skiing, snowboarding.
While I have never been, I've heard Quebec City is quite beautiful at Christmas time. The Carnaval de Québec is Jan/Feb and there's an ice palace...

I'm really hoping for a long weekend in NYC. That was going to be my 35th bday present but money is just tight. But I would love to go with just hubby and eat my way through the city.
