I was going to post something snarky in the "I don't know if I should breastfeed or bottle feed" thread but everyone else answered so seriously/nicely.

I tempered my snark with some niceness. She has two posts. What the actual fuck. If that blows up I'm going to lose it.
@alygohome I would absolutely go alone. Getting some info is better than none! I was suprised at how few classes were available for us to take as well. Definitely go!

Yeah I answered then clicked or else I would have probably gifed a baby drinking out of a Mountain Dew bottle or something and said that was my plan. Oh well.
@Irishcurls I was just thinking the same thing. One in every 4 posts on my news feed is about Ebola. I had to shut it down and walk away.
In the last 24 hours I have seen a post saying that Obama is using ebola to take over and that he's hiding the information that is airborne. Wtf? How do people believe this. Obama would have to be keeping every other country in the world from being honest about ebola too. It doesn't even make sense but they still believe it.

I laughed so hard when you posted this because I have a picture of me at about 9 months old holding a glass bottle of mountain dew that my grandfather gave me. He told my mom it was okay because there's orange juice in it.

Facebook could hugely be improved by being able to filter out posts with certain words. I'd add "Hobby Lobby" to my list.
Is this over the same stuff that has been plaguing Hobby Lobby haters for the past few years, or did I miss something new? FTR, my husband is Jewish and we weren't offended by the lack of Hanukkah stuff. We get that they are a private company and can sell what they want. We also get that they can cover what they want on their insurance. It sucks, but we aren't pissed about it.

My spam is just how much I seriously love my nephew. He is just the sweetest little man an Aunt could ask for. I was sitting on the couch over at my inlaws last night and at first he did the weirdest thing, he lifted up me shirt to see my belly. Every time we asked about where his baby cousins he would point and smile/squeal. Then he spent about an hour hugging my belly and got really protective over me, to the point when DH would come next to us he would pull my shirt down and give him a dirty look.
I just hope my kiddos are half as lovable as he is.

Loss and IF veteran. Current mom of DS 5.5, DD 2, and sometimes DH 40. Due June 2021 with TWINS
DH felt the baby last night! She was kicking hard non stop for like an hour. H was underwhelmed by it, which was disappointing. He said it didn't really feel like much and if I hadn't told him that it was the baby moving he would have just assumed gas or something. Um I assure you, not gas. He'll be more impressed when the movements are bigger.
@ducktale my DH was the same way. He's been dying to feel the little guy move. Finally the other night he had his hand on my belly and i said that way him kicking. And he was like "oh, hmm well thats it, would have never known unless you told me. Though it was just your stomach rumbling as always." Had to explain that my stomach is under my ribs not right about my vag!!!!
Oh praise the good Lord, I haven't seen HL pop up lately on my feed. Though I did have someone inform us all that troops in the Middle East are being forced to "celebrate" (ironic) Ramadan and we should stop bitching about the separation of church and state because look at the chaos Obama is causing. Facts: Ramadan is in August but good try. Troops obey all laws in public while over there, just as we would require soldiers to do here. This is why we don't want the church and the state samesies here. Sooooo, unfollow.
I can honestly say the only part of the ebola scared that bothers or scares me is that Marinesv ate being deployed to help. That means armed guards keeping people in hospitals from what I can gather which I understand but dislike. Not all Mariners are sanitary so I expect there may be 1 or 2 who get sick which will male the news worse and the "Obama did it" crap even crazier. (All personal opinion, I don't want my thoughts confused with facts)
@jennjilljoite I hear you on the random stuff on the threads today... I've been watching the baby sex ticker and wondering where the hell all those girls have been hiding.. But I think some randos are coming out... Which months ago would have been awesome... Now I've decided I'm not really clicking threads unless I know who made them (or they have an especially captivating title).
Good morning ladies! Y'all are chatty this morning, and i've been too busy to catch up.
The good news is that it's 11am and I have 5 of the 6 things on my to do list crossed off. I'm also getting an etsy, nursery item purchase delivered today. DH will probably get upset that I ordered something, but I'm so excited about decorating the nursery and haven't really started yet. Ofcourse, I have pretty much everything I need from DD...but I just feel like the next 3 months is going to FLY by!

Dude, same. I am limited to about 4 threads on here at any given time.

I just blew up on the "which name do you like" thread ...no regrets 8-|
I know we've talked about doing a frozen foods thread in 3rd tri, but I have a question. If people prep slow cooker stuff and freeze it in gallon bags--do you include the liquids too? For instance, diced tomatoes and chicken broth in the recipe I'm looking at now. I've never done it, might have to google some of those "12 meals in an hour" bloggers.....

Not to start a big debate, but I think the point is that they SHOULDN'T get to choose what they cover on their insurance. Shoppers can choose to go elsewhere if they want to buy items not carried in Hobby Lobby stores, but their employees cannot go elsewhere if HL refuses to cover certain health care. Sex-specific health care, I may add.
The consumer side annoys me but like you, I understand they can choose what to carry. As a functioning member of working society, however, the health insurance issue pisses me off to no end. They're just two completely separate issues.
I absolutely see where you are coming from, and I don't think you are starting debate at all. I'm of the opinion that nobody should be allowed to tell me what to do with my body, especially my reproductive organs. I also get that HL is allowed to make their own decisions. I don't love it, and wouldn't work for a company that delegates my reproductive rights, but I get why they did it. That's all.

@Irishcurls I have done it both ways. As long as you label the bag with how much you need its fine. Without the liquid saves space but you have to remember to have all the ingredients on hand when you make them. Its a personal preference. I prefer having it all in the bag so all I have to do I'd dump it in.
I'm a zombie today. DS kept waking up every 2 hours to scream because his nose was stuffy. Argh, I'm feeling terrible! Great way to start off being 1... Happy birthday cranky dude.
Guilty confession, I have been lurking the board that all the SAHM members went to
Woah! There's a board for SAHM's where I wouldn't have to converse with you dirty working women? Sign me up!
Not really. I'm very happy with you guys and I appreciate how apathetic this board is towards differences of opinions as long as proper care is provided. I love you guys. Is there anything good going on?
