    My neighbor put her dog outside at 6am to screech, bark and cry for 30minutes... I'm so irritated. I just wanted my last 40 minutes of rest undisturbed. Not the way I wanted to start my day.

    Hello over here. I posted a spam thread too. I usually don't add anything in the op so that doesn't happen. Oh well.

    I am so exhausted and have to go to the dentist this morning and then work. My two least favorite things. But after work I go see Brantley Gilbert in concert! So excited for that! And it's Friday eve! Wahoo!

    DS had a fever last night. It broke and he has been fine since. I'm hoping he is fine today.

    Last night, after sex, I had bleeding and freaked out. It was quite a bit. I had an appt yesterday and f/u u/s to check placenta placement. At my a/s, it was pretty close to my os. It is now 37mm away from the os so no placenta previa. Dr said all is well.

    After the bleeding last night, she was kicking like crazy. I called the on call dr and if I get cramps or it gets heavier to go in and get checked. My stomach has been hurting (feels like the side pains from running) since yesterday around 7:30 pm. I do feel achy as well. I'm calling in and just going to rest. I haven't bleed since, but I am freaked out. I may just go in for peace of mind.

    I hope everyone else's day is uneventful.

    We leave for the beach this afternoon!  I haven't even packed a thing.  That's not true.  I packed the dog bag :) 

    I woke up early for a work meeting, but it has been postponed.  For when?  I have a beach trip to get to!

    My MIL really isn't coming to the baby shower.  She's going to a family reunion that they have every year.  She just lost belly touching privileges.

    Ugh @jaztastic I would have freaked! There is nothing worse than a dog barking when I should be sleeping. Nothing. I hope your day improves from here!!

    Another inlaw rant.  We usually try to meal plan so one dinner lasts us two nights.  This allows me to workout most evenings and not have so much clean up.  I made enough yesterday to accommodate having 2 more adults for dinner (MIL and FIL).  Of course, FIL pretty much just ate our dinner for tonight as his lunch.  

    I do not have a plan B and officially going on dinner strike.

    Ugh... Didn't sleep well at all last night. I didn't even wake up that much to pee. I just couldn't get comfy.

    And I don't know how else to describe it but I feel stretched today. I don't seem like my bump is bigger but, maybe it is that.

    Score yesterday -- after my doctors appointment, I had taken the whole half day off since I didn't know how long the appointment would take. I was able to head out shopping for a bit. I went to Sears maternity department, and found khaki and black shorts for $19.99. We are going to disney world in like 9 days so awesome! So if anyone else lives in the south, be sure to check them out for some cheap shorts that I'm sure we will be wearing for a little while.

    Good morning! Here's a pic of my junk at 24 wks-- this could become a thing-- ;)

    Going home today after my conference and I couldn't be more excited!!!! Our one morning to sleep in a bit later and my coworker didn't cancel her alarm and then let it go off for 2 minutes!!! GAH! Can't wait to be home where I can peacefully shit and walk around braless.

    @animalcrckr‌ My suggestion a couple days ago is looking pretty good. Quikcret is cheap and all you have to do is add water and stir.

    I'll join the crappy sleep people and my back started hurting the minute I got to work. On the plus side we are having a bake sale at work and I have cash!!!!!! I brought Better than Sex cake. I wonder if I can just buy the whole thing. Whipped topping counts as dairy right??

    @smg2302‌ If no one is there who will know what kind of donut you ate. I say go for it.

    @srcr2011 hope everything is ok!

    My random: DS informed me last night that he wants to bring cupcakes to DC for his birthday. Some need pink frosting and the rest need blue frosting. "Blue is for boys mom, we don't like PINK!". Then he told me he wants a super hero cake at his birthday party and it needs to have "a cape, and shoes, and a cool belt and a mask!" I'm not sure how to put a cape on a cake, but I'm going to try.

    So, my Mimi is in the hospital because she fell and broke her hip. She has to have surgery & I'm pretty sure that means my mom won't be able to visit me on Sunday. I hate living so far away, I just want to drive home & be there for her.

    Yesterday my neighbour and her little girl came over for a quick play date after work. DD had a bit of a runny nose. Last night she texted me to ask if it was just a runny nose or dd had other symptoms bc she is paranoid bc her daughter was sick for 5 weeks with a cold. Note: there is a huge discrepancy in what she considers sick (hence a 5 week cold) and what most people would consider sick.

    So I said it was just a runny nose bc it was gone later in the day and there was nothing else. Fast forward to this morning and DD woke up with a bit of a cough and a snotty nose. Ugh!

    I'm not sure if I should say something or not now bc I feel like there will be an unnecessary freak out.

    Hi all. Got my flu shot at school yesterday and my arm is killing me! MH had parent teacher conferences last night so I put the baby's dresser together all by myself! I have a very handy dad so I learned from the best.

    @sugahcookie01 I have the same situation and noticed if I am more active (like putting a dresser together) I won't feel him much. One of the girls at work said because we teach and are up and walking around all day it is like rocking them constantly so that may also play a part. I'm sure all is good with your little buddy!

    @willvilljill  We are about 6 hours from the beach and I'm wearing a sweatshirt for dog walking this morning, but it will be 80 degrees and breezy at the beach!  

    No respect needed re: my MIL.  She is MARVELOUS in most situations and would drop anything in the world for me.  Apparently besides this.  The whole family is all "we prayed for these babies for so long" (we had 5 years of difficulties conceiving) and "they are OUR babies, the FAMILY'S babies", but now she doesn't come to the effing shower?  It isn't about a gift AT ALL.  She bought a crib an mattress a month ago.  It's the fact that I even have family coming from 7 hours away for this and my own MIL that lives 5 min away can't come?  DH keeps saying "i'll handle it and make sure she comes", but he has yet to talk to her about it.  It happens in just over 2 weeks, so he's probably too late.

    You are very lucky that your DH is that excited about becoming a dad!  My DH is as well, but he is SO freaked out that I think he can't focus on the joy yet.  Of course, going from zero to TWO is a bit of a shock.....
