I took some pics of Alex on the weekend and LOVE them. Hopefully weget a decent afternoon to take more this week.
DD had a fever of 102 last night. I think it is from her shots last week because the doctor said to expect a fever in 5-10 days. I gave her Tylenol before bed, she just woke and is 100, but she immediately fell asleep in my arms so I did not want to wake her for more Tylenol. I will give it once she wakes up. She is back sleeping in her crib. I feel so bad she does not feel good.

Yesterday I felt like superwoman. I worked 9 hours, picked the kid up from daycare, fed him dinner, bathed him, put him down for the night and still made it to my 6 work dinner where I ate and drank for free. All of my favorite things in one day! Does it get any better than that!

V is still sleeping but he was up for like 90 minutes coughing and restless...poor tired kid. We need to get off to work etc but after his horrible night I don't want to wake him.
@lizabethann06 - Way to go, Mr.Liz! Super cute! This past weekend was the first time that my DH really stepped up to take care of M. He even took DD to her pediatric ophthalmologist appointment ALONE so that I could go to a job interview. It has been a process, but I'm so glad that he finally feels like he is "enough" for her.
Speaking of yesterday's job interview, it looks like I'm going back to work. We enrolled DD in daycare on Monday, so I'm just waiting on the completed background check and an official certificate of appointment. I am confident that Mer will do great in daycare/preschool, but ugh! =((
If it rains again and we are stuck inside all day I'm not sure we will all make it until daddy gets home.

Your toddler wakes up at 4am for the day instead of the usual 5:30am.

We had movers get the big stuff. Never again. Next time (which I don't anticipate happening) the movers will get ALL THE THINGS.

I have to attend a Gala for work in Atlanta on Monday and I have a ton of dresses to wear that still don't fit me. So I guess I will go buy a gala dress too.

So glad to hear that (not that yours LOs had the same problem, just that I'm not alone in this...). Was about to post a 5.99 about swatting/pinching. Grabbing my face is Feli's first, favorite, (only?) way to show her displeasure about whatever it is that I'm doing (or not). It's her reaction to diaper change, brushing her teeth, not paying attention, paying too much attention...you name it.
It's been going on for a while now, maybe four weeks?
Whenever she does it, I say "no!" or something short to that regard, loudly, and set her down/away from me. She cries for about 10 seconds and then either goes to play somewhere else or comes back to me and wants to read a book/pet my face gently/sit on my lap.
Thing is, it's getting worse. Before, she would do it maybe once or twice a day, but now it's multiple times an hour (especially in the evening). She doesn't do it at DC (whew!) but I don't know, did I condition her to do this? I used the same method to get her to stop biting and it worked fine then.
When I catch her in mid-swing, I hold her arm and say "you do that again and I"ll set you down". Sometimes it works, sometimes she'll try her luck again.
Aaaaargh.
Please, wise mommas of J13, help?
