    @gsancho‌ I hadn't heard of that. They can tell the sex of a he baby through blood work? How early do they do it? Does it take 3 weeks to process? That seems so long.

    @daydreamernyc I think since it's technically a screening test for a ton of other conditions (the sex is just one of the tests run), then it takes a while.  They told me 10-14 business days to be exact.  You have to be at least 10 weeks along.

    jamielynn53 - Diclegis is basically Unisom + B6 (what I'm taking) in one pill (the reincarnation of Bendectin!) :) Starting the Unisom/B6 definitely made me feel tons better--but some days are still worse than others. I hope it works for you!

    Had my first US today at 5w1d and it was in the right spot (whew) and she thinks she saw a start of the fetal pole(?). Heading in the right direction. I go in again next week and I'm hoping we'll be able to hear the heartbeat.

    This is my first check-in, too! We had a 3rd beta this week and it was 2,484 (from 675 4 days earlier). So far so good. 1st ultrasound is next Thursday. I should be excited but I'm still so cautious and worried.

    We are in the process of packing and moving and it's been really stressful. I'm not doing any lifting but it's still exhausting.

    And the worst news hit last night: DH was laid off from his job with NO severance. Just finished emptying our savings with IVF so I'm pretty concerned about how we will make it. Prayers, prayers.

    1/30/2015 PPROM at 21 weeks, 3 days. Hospital bed rest to let these sweet peas cook. Holding on for 34 weeks!

    bears1011:  Welcome!  They are making me come back for first ultrasound at 7 weeks too.  It's only a week and a half away but it feels like forever.  Hopefully this board will help with some distraction.  :)

    @starlightgator:‌ Welcome.  So sorry about your husband.  :(  It sucks being laid off, but I'm sure it's worse in this situation.

    @MrsLolaSky the first day was ok, but the second day was TERRIBLE. Tried taking one at night and one in the morning this time so maybe that will help.
