We have a lot going on lately in the bkeane household. There were 3 birthdays within 2 weeks and as I said earlier we had been getting O evaluated through our school district for possible special needs issues ie: sensory processing disorder, ADHD, autism. They don't give a diagnosis but they will give services based on the child's needs. His testing came out that he most likely has a sensory disorder, he showed some signs of autism and had attention problems. On the positive side his IQ is crazy high in the 99th percentile. His current preschool class is not a good fit. The school district has offered him physical and occupational therapy 2x a week as well as a special education teacher to work with us on behavior/socialization at home and in a new preschool 5x a week. They didn't want to put him in an integrated school due to his IQ so we have found a new preschool with only 8 kids in the class in a really big room. He will be going there and his teacher will be in the class with him, that meets 2x a week. So that is what is going on here. It's been a crazy few weeks.

I love seeing all the birthday party pics-whether they are pinterest inspired or few to no decorations! Making and crafting things is my hobby so have been having fun making the felt banners for the twins party.

I still haven't gotten my first post partum period yet so the dr wants me to come in next week. I don't want it to ever come back!!

@sleepy33 Nope. I did for the first two weeks but not since then. Although I still have the occasional lactation drops happen. My cycle was screwy prior to pregnancy.

@huntjul‌ - I know how you feel and we are not sub-standard! It was starting to stress me out a bit too and I have been kind of skipping some of the posts because I don't want to start comparing and feeling bad. We have finally decided to throw a party for LOs but it is going to be totally thrown together. No professional smash cake, no theme, no fancy invites (I just sent out evites and a couple people just got a verbal invite), we are getting pizza and salads and that's about it. My grandmother who loves to bake is making chocolate cupcakes that tend to look atrocious but taste better than any fancy cake I've ever had, so we're going with those. I'm sure MIL and my mother will bake something too, cookies or something. The only décor I am doing are balloons because LOs go nuts when they see balloons and maybe a banner from the dollar store.
