I have to work from 1-8 today. What a weird shift. I don't think I'm gonna like it. Plus, I hate waiting around to go to work.
I do have another date tonight. Not with the same guy as yesterday. That wasn't a love connection. Bummer. This one looks fun, but probably short. Also bummer.
The dude I went out with Saturday night was my height. It was a little weird. I stood on my toes to hug him out of habit, and realized my mistake mid-hug. Awkward.
If DS would have been a girl, I would've still wanted him (her?) to have Carson as his (her? Idk) name.
Usually I'm not a fan of the "-son" names for a girl but I do like Carson because of the movie Shag (Phoebe Cates' character - although Pudge was my favorite character but I'd never name DD Pudge)

About me 2007: Started TTC. 2008: OB prescribed clomid, went to RE and was Dx with PCOS. 2009: IUI #1 w/follitsim and trigger = BFP. B/G Twins born at 33 weeks. 2012: TTC #3, Round 2 of Letrozole w/TI = BFP, missed m/c at 8 1/2 wks. Currently on the bench as we make plans for a new home. Anxious to start TTC #3 within the next year!
@hilarityensued when we found out the second was another boy I knew it would be tough and we could not agree on anything. We literally went through the entire alphabet before agreeing on a name for DS1 (Zachary). For DS2, it took a long time. I finally gave DH three names to choose from: Andrew, Benjamin and Wesley. He chose Wesley, which was my top choice.
And exH and I could not agree on names at all. Thankfully, we didn't have kids...so it was all a moot point anyways.
Every single time I see that, I think this...

OMG, stop telling me that you are so buried and overwhelmed and then sitting in my office taking up my time! Go learn some time management skills learn to make a fucking decision without mulling over it for a week, and then maybe you'll get caught up and have less to whine about.
I see you work for my former boss now.
You have all my sorries

Our girl name has always been Morgan...since before DS was born. So naturally it would work out that we're having another boy so we won't be using our girl name.
It was difficult enough for DH and me to agree on DS' s name (Gavyn), so now we're scrambling to find another boy name we both like. So far out top contenders have been Jameson and Braedyn. We're leaning towards Braedyn, but we're still playing around with the spelling a bit.
It's nap time here and I'm seriously thinking about not doing a single chore. It's chilly here and all I want to do is curl up with a big blanket and nap. I've stayed up too late this weekend doing studying and homework anyways. I deserve a nap.
I think saying "NMS" is basically the equivalent to "No offense."
You are trying to make it sound less harsh than it is.
I guess I always took it to mean "I wouldn't name my kid that, but I wouldn't roll my eyes at you for using it on your kid" Maybe not?
Of course I've been known to have no filter and just give an opinion on a bad name if someone is asking so I expect people to be honest vs. just using the NMS response.
But lately I am making the effort to sit on my hands and not say stuff that might not sound too nice. Just for the record book.

I always come in when these things are 23423432.6 pages long, but OH WELL, you will hear my random anyway
I have had a lingering cough after the latest virus infestation in our house that our lovely toddler brought us...for going on like 2 weeks now... and I am about ready to break things if it doesn't fucking stop. I now have to bend over in half just to cough, otherwise every single ab muscle I own (which now surrounds my baby bump), burns with fiery pain because they are so worn out from coughing...and the only way they don't hurt as much is if I bend over. So. I now have to bend over at random times while walking or sitting around trying to work, looking like a fool while doing so...AND I also have to wear piss pads because I constantly pee myself each time I cough too. Add to the pile that I'm sleeping like shit because it's hotter than a million hells in CA right now even though it's October, so the fan HAS to be on...which just makes me cough more.
Fuck it in the fucking face.
BUT, on to more happy things.... there aren't any yet. It's Monday and I'm at work.
Oh wait -- I was able to buy two pairs of maternity jeans for 10 bucks each on clearance at Target yesterday..... that was a good thing. And baby girl now finally has two articles of clothing to wear. Nothing else yet, but that's a start.
Omg, this dude emailed me once, then commented on a photo and emailed once more to "remind me" that he had emailed me. I set up my profile at 11 PM last night.
In his first email, he said some stupid shit about the other women on the site and how he thinks they're lame and he's awesome. Or something.*
I was reading Mini Boden as Mini Biden and I was like "where is there a Mini Joe Biden???"
I never heard of it either...this is what I found:

I thought today was going to be crazy busy at work so I worked extra hard this morning to get through stuff and now I'm out of things to do because some meetings got cancelled...oh well

How does one bath in money anyway? What does that even mean?
Cash is filthy. The thought of laying in it makes me want to vomit. I bet if you tested bills you would find traces of all sorts of food, bodily fluids and drugs.

Free cocaine, tho.
Yeah, but it would probably be mixed with feces. I prefer feces free booger sugar (Disclaimer: I don't really do cocaine).
All I'm taking from this is that since I'm poor and like pizza, I might have a chance on a dating site should I ever need one.
