I got like five seconds of sleep. I need to get to work but I'm avoiding getting out of bed until Dh lights the fire. I'm eating M&Ms under the covers. That counts as breakfast right?
I'm tired. I'm trying to not go to DD at night unless she's actually crying. She'll wake often and whimper a bit or babble or sing... And a lot of times when I go in then, she's only half awake. I think waiting till she cries is right, but right now I wait and stress about if she's waking up or going back down, or if she's upset or how long she's going to be half awake and is she sleep deprived... Anxiety is fun. It takes me forever to fall back to sleep.
I came down for breakfeast and DH is eating major crackers. He said he'd cleaned after dinner. He sucks at cleaning after meals. He always leaves something. Last night he said he got it all. He didn't wipe the counters or the table. There was visible food on them! He didn't clean DD's high chair tray. There was a bowl half filled with soup in the sink. What the HELL, DH.
I'm determined to finish my freaking book that I've been trying to read at work for months! I'm sure my boss cares deeply about whether I get through it or not.

My girls are out on fall break this week, so of course we woke up to thunderstorms this morning. Kinda crashes our picnic in the park with a hike after plans for today.
Gotta run into work for my annual hearing test this morning then I'm not sure what we'll get into after. I have to leave in like 15 minutes so I should probably get dressed, but I'm totally not feeling it
@RondackHiker do you use a sound machine? We have then for both kids because we get anxious hearing every sigh and cough. We ask sleep better when we can't hear everything.
I should get one, especially because they share a room. They don't seem to wake each other up, but I bet they hear each other.
Do you still hear them if they're really needing you? I worry that it'd make crying hard to hear.
My first appt is tomorrow. I'm nervous. Nothing about this pregnancy feels real. It's almost like I'm waiting for the doctor to show me the ultrasound and be like, "yep, there it is" before I really get invested.
I also felt so much more certain the first time around. I feel like my overriding feeling now is anxiety.
My thinning hair is getting worse so I decided to try the metformin again to see if it will help (I didn't think it did last time so gave up on it). I'm easing into it with half a dose at a time but the side effects are still not fun. The bathroom is way too far away from my desk and this is a very dangerous situation but not one that I want to explain to the boss so I can work from home. Should be an interesting Monday!

About me 2007: Started TTC. 2008: OB prescribed clomid, went to RE and was Dx with PCOS. 2009: IUI #1 w/follitsim and trigger = BFP. B/G Twins born at 33 weeks. 2012: TTC #3, Round 2 of Letrozole w/TI = BFP, missed m/c at 8 1/2 wks. Currently on the bench as we make plans for a new home. Anxious to start TTC #3 within the next year!
I got no sleep last night. Ds was up so much and ready to talk and play. We had to start supplementing on the weekend cause I'm having supply issues and I was not prepared for his diaper this morning. I opened it and yelled, he laughed and I then gagged and almost cried. Cloth diapering is about to get a lot more disgusting haha. It's beautiful here today and so is off in an hour hopefully we'll go do something outside!
I'm freaking out because I don't know if the dog or child misbehaved and ate some bread (through the plastic) in the kitchen, or if it was a rodent/other animal. I made the mistake of googling, and found out that rats can come through sewer pipes and hide in toilets. Toilets! I'm never going without inspecting first now, and I'm just going to pray it was the dog.
phunkyphish to avoid further talk of rodents we're all just going to assume it was your dog

Good luck! Starting met can be... interesting. Are you taking extended release? That made a huge difference for me.
no, they are regular, I'll give this a couple of days and if it's still bad maybe I'll see if we can change them. I suppose I'd better look up what foods to avoid too and see if that helps.

That's my plan. She has eaten plastic before, and I didn't see any other evidence. I cleaned the hell out of our cabinets too, and found nothing to indicate it wasn't the dog. It was just weird because it was still on the counter, and not on the floor like it is when she gets into stuff.
So, I created my Match.com profile last night pretty late, and I have like, 4 or 5 emails. But I don't want to have to pay for the subscription to read/respond. Omg, what if Match is scamming me and they're not even real emails?!

Damn it.
How much is it?
It's about $20/month. I just don't know if I'm ready for that kind of commitment.
Everyone keeps asking if I am nervous or stressed and I just am not. Everything is taken care of, anything that might go wrong will not stop me from getting married, so I just am not worrying about it.
I took off Thursday and Friday so I have two full days to iron out final details and I think that is almost too much time lol.
Flying out to LA for a few days this afternoon. I am lame because I am mostly excited to have lots of time to get work done uninterrupted. I am seriously giddy over it.

I feel like an a-hole now. I am also sad about leaving my kids. Obviously.

They might do an ultrasound if you've got that variation on EDDs @HilarityEnsued. That's what my OB did with DS.
They typically do a dating ultrasound between 7-9 weeks. I'm also nervous since I'm pretty sure my EDD is 6/1 that if they do do (lol... doodoo) an ultrasound tomorrow, they won't see a heartbeat. And then I will just be more over-the-top anxious.
I need to just hakuna my friggin tatas. I know this.
If they do an ultrasound for you they can do a transvaginal ultrasound and see the heartbeat anytime after 5 weeks. On my last they did one at 5 weeks and could see the little heart flickering
I will feel no guilt because they were the baked kind.
But I do feel a little Miss Piggy like now that there is orange powder all over my keyboard.

@HilarityEnsued I hope you can get some peace of mind at the appointment. I hate those first several weeks, they're so stressful.
DD woke up around 2 a.m. this morning. I'm so tired now. I'm an asshole for complaining about this b/c she is an incredible sleeper and sttn all the time. She ate a bottle and went right back to sleep.
I'm also an asshole b/c DS1 was sick this weekend and I was kind of hoping it would carry over to today so I could stay home with him and snuggle.
DS2 turns 4 today which doesn't even seem remotely possible. (
DH and I went and Saw Annabelle on Friday night. I was relieved to see that I was not the only adult walking out of that movie shaking. It was so freaking scary. DH thought it was funny to scare me all weekend after that.
I joined Weight Watchers yesterday. We didn't really have the money for me to do it, but iam so tired of hating the way that I look, hating my body, and sometimes myself for letting myself get so out of control with my eating habits. I saw a pictures of me that was taken last weekend, and that was the last straw for me. I can cut some things out of the budget in order to be able to afford $19 a month.

No. The hb starts AROUND the 6w mark. With DD we couldn't even see a fetal pole at 5w3d in spite of high betas. DS had a super low hb at 6w2d so it was just starting. Telling people it can ve seen at 5w is going to freak them out because...generally no.
Just going by my experience and what the us tech told me. At 5 weeks 2 days the heartbeat was clear as day. A tiny sac with a little flickering light. You couldn't hear it, but you can very easily see it.
DS2 slept from 7:15pm to 5:30am. I really hope that this becomes a pattern. I actually did not mind waking up at 5:30am. I made a cup of coffee, cuddled and read him books. It was a great start to a Monday. No case of the Mondays today.

My level of pride is probably completely disproportionate to the achievement, but I don't care.

Good morning. I feel like shit and I have swimmers ear from my ear buds. WTH.
I just want to go home and catch up on my fall shows.
I had fantastic sex with DH this weekend. I can't stop thinking about him now.
