What are you ladies up to this weekend? Any rants?

I'm just cleaning the house, doing laundry and trying to get things crossed off my to-do list. I also think I'm going to start knitting a blanket for LO- I probably should have started this weeks ago!

Ideally I would like to finish the nursery...we have one more storage organizer to set up and then it's more organizing then anything. Need to get a few more necessities for baby but it always seems to get put off so...not really counting on that one. :-/

Also just realized that at 35 weeks I should probably start considering packing a hospital bag & installing baby girl's car seat. Uh...is it really October? :-S

I am house cleaning, too. Yay?

Then I take my daughter to gymnastics, then we will do a bit of shopping.

Tomorrow morning will be lazy, then my husband booked a family/maternity photo shoot for the late afternoon. We will see what kind of photographer this is....

Today is MIL's day - meaning we go there in the morning for breakfast and stay the whole day through 'til bedtime. Fun, but sometimes deeply unproductive.

Today I'm planning to drag the fella along with me to BRU to test carseats and see if a booster will fit next to our new Radian. Still need to figure out what seats I'm going to get for DS1 and DS2 that will fit next to the seat for the baby... or if DS2 should have the Radian and we should get baby an infant seat. Ugh. This has plagued my thoughts for way too long. FX that today is the last day I have to obsess about it.

Also going to go to the bank and talk refinancing fella's car, because we're paying way too much for it and may need to look into trading it in.

So, hopefully will get stuff done.

This morning we're taking DS1 to the skate park. And tonight he's having his first sleepover!! His BFF lives right across the street, which is very convenient. I feel like he's too young for a sleepover (2.5) but this is where he'll stay if I go into labor at night, so we need to do a trial run. Fingers crossed it goes well.

Other than that, just nesting nesting nesting....and more nesting. And a neighborhood party tomorrow evening.

I am going through the winter clothes and my sons clothes to get the cold weather items out and outgrown clothes packed away.

And that is about it. I am not sure how much more I will be able to handle. I might do some piecing of his quilt together today if I don't get too woozy.

Today is flu shot and TDAP shot day for both me and DH... I hate shots but anything for LO. Then trying to get more checked off the to do list. Yard work, house work, definitely laundry. And then our last class is at 4pm today. Tomorrow I'm leaving wide open in case the shots aren't nice to us.

I am working another 10 hour day today. I've worked over 60 hours this week including today. I'm exhausted. Have tomorrow off but really dreading it because I have so much to do.
Tomorrow my list is: church, laundry (hoping hubby does today so I don't have to), getting some lunches together for the week, sofa shopping, some finish up touches to babies room, and hopefully if I am lucky a NAP. Oh yes and I HAVE to go buy some maternity underwear. I have 2 pairs that currently fit me.

I am thinking about taking out son to Saturday market this morning. After that I have to run to the store to pick up a few things. Then home to get ready for family/maternity photos. Then I have to clean the floors. We have all wood floors in our 2600 sq/ft home. Sweeping is rough! Sunday is a lazy day!

My husband will install the car seat base and maybe I will start to think about my hospital bag. Other than that pretty lazy weekend of laundry, grocery shopping, and maybe some baking of an apple crisp and toasting pumpkin seeds.

DH and I headed to the cottage today and my parents are on their way here. It's rainy and yucky out so I am hoping for a nice relaxing night with everyone and perhaps some cards and pizza!!

@bethas‌ my DH is the same way about cleaning. I suck at cleaning/tidying, and sometimes DH will say he wants to help, but it's mostly just shoving stuff to other spots while whining. I finally told him if he wants to help me he needs to do it when I'm not home.

I hope the wedding goes well and you're able to stay warm!

Tomorrow we're taking DS to the pumpkin patch! MIL and FIL are coming too.

Other random: Filling out my short-term disability paperwork, one question is "Describe how and where the accident occurred". I was amused, LOL.

Wow everyone sounds so productive! I'm about to head out to have lunch with my dad, Brother and their SOs for a belated birthday get together. We didn't have power yesterday or last night because of some storms but luckily woke up with it on. Tomorrow I have my work shower. Busy busy busy. Still haven't accomplished ANYTHING as far as the nursery goes - all of the furniture is still in boxes, but hopefully that will change this week!

I am about to get off of work and head to Sam's and Joanns to do some quick shopping. DH is hopefully putting in the closet shelves and rods in the nursery closet right now.

Once I get home, I'll be defrosting our deep freeze and hopefully putting stuff away in the nursery, along with starting cloth diaper prepping/washing.

I really need to start at least a bare necessities hospital bag too. I had a dream last night that I had the baby and I had to call my MIL and explain to her where to find my underwear and yoga pants so she could bring them to the hospital.

We're moving next weekend (what better time than 33 weeks pregnant w/ twins

) so today has been full of packing/disassembling. I'm feeling super useless - it sucks.

I think we're going to look for a new bedroom set later. I'm weirdly excited about that. We're still using our college hand me down set. It'll be nice to have something new for our new place.

Today I get to work on plans for school because I'm out for another week and I think my team is stretched thin so I'm trying to help out as much as I can. My sub for the past two weeks is not certified and I got an email yesterday that somehow she finished the binder for my elective class in two weeks (It's an 8 week course and there were plans in there for 10 weeks). Not sure how the hell she did 10 weeks worth of lessons in 2. Not possible but I can't do anything about it so now I have to pull some lessons out of my ass. I HATE when people in my classroom don't follow directions. That school has access to some awesome subs who know their stuff, however it seems I wasn't lucky this time. I know I'm going to go back to a hot mess and it'll take me the three weeks until my induction just to sort it out.

My baby shower is tomorrow! I'm excited despite all the last minute drama. I posted about part of it in WTF Wednesday and shit ton more has happened since then so I'll be ready for next Wednesday. I've stopped answering my damn phone cause I'm not fielding selfish ass people anymore and I'm certainly not going to let them continue to yo-yo around my hostess - learn some etiquette or eff of. It's my day dammit (I know that sounds selfish but I rarely get to be, so for once to hell with everyone else).

Cleaning and laundry. My parents came down to look at more houses. They are looking for a weekend place by us for LO gets here so they can come down often without sleeping in our living room.

I'm also working going through things in the nursery. We have had amazingly generous family and friends which means this baby has so many things that I don't know what to do with things and feel overwhelmed at organizing. We can finally walk in the nursery so I'm calling it progress.

This morning was my nephews' peewee football games. Then my mom took DD home with her for the afternoon, so we could get some work done on the nursery. So, far all we have managed to accomplish is going out to eat for lunch which was nice since we hardly ever get to eat out alone. DH is now mowing the lawn and I am about to unload the books from the bookshelf in the guest room we are hopefully one day going to turn into the nursery.

We are supposed to go play poker tonight, but I am not allowing that to happen unless we cross some stuff off the to-do list.

Tomorrow is church, nap, church, and grocery shopping.

Now time to quit bumping and get busy.

Pretty productive day so far. Got the house cleaned, washed the sheets and a load of clothes and cleaned out the office (aka junk room). I also started on Will's baby blanket and had a little nap.

Now I'm just trying to decide on where I want DH to take me for dinner- Indian or Italian?

What!?! How frustrating!! I feel like you should mention to your principal that this sub blew through your lesson plans. That is ridiculous and I can hardly imagine your students are learning anything, not to mention it's incredibly annoying for you!

Ultra random, but I just want to say my hg is following it's familiar pattern and is becoming more intense as I get closer to the end, after a relative easing at the end of second tri-beginning third tri. Today I just feel really crappy. I'm grateful for the "easy" period but today I just want to cry. I'm nauseous, and tired, and hungry but have nothing sounds good. It's my sister's birthday and I still need to call her, but am waiting until I think I won't break down on the phone. The last thing I want to do is call her to celebrate her birthday, and then spend the whole time talking about how sick I feel.

Thanks for letting me get that out. DH is doing needed work outside and I'm with dd, and it's not the type of thing you vent to an almost 3 year old.

I finished the nursery today! I'll add some photos to the nursery thread tomorrow. H and I also picked up our new deep freezer for all of the stuff I've been making, and I got my flu shot. Tomorrow we're cleaning up the house, starting on my hospital bag, and vacuuming my car so we can install the car seat next weekend. Trying to check off lots of to-do's this week and next.

Very frustrating! There is no way they were done, or done with any fidelity. I had just started that class on Monday and I went out on that Wednesday. I was tempted to tell them I wasn't going to write any more plans, that someone needed to look into what had been going on in my classroom but I bit my tongue, for now, since I will be going back for the remainder of October. We do have a process in which we evaluate subs and I will be taking it up with my principal when I return to fill it out. Ridiculous!

Wow this thread is full of productive women.

We had birthing class today at the hospital and while it wasn't a ton of brand new information, the value was being able to ask an L&D nurse all about the hospital experience and policies.

We also watched birth videos......during lunch.
