Just dragged my 95 lb chocolate lab outside to his dog run for the third day in a row. I am not sure why he's refusing to go out himself as he's been fine for the last few months. Anyway, after doing that and sitting down with my heart racing, I am needlessly worried that the physical exertion could cause problems. I know it should be fine, and I'm just being irrational, and the worst that seems to be happening is just a ton of aching in almost every joint, but I am still not thrilled with the idea of repeating this every day. He's a sweetheart, but seriously exhausting!

Edit: Hope you can all handle wrongly oriented pictures because I have no idea how to change this on mobile!

If you edit the pic like for example crop it (you can do it so slightly that it won't change anything) it will straighten itself
Thanks! I think I'm going to leave it for now, but I'll certainly try in the future. Or just post on a non-mobile version.

  • @DragonflyDreaming, I love mine.  I have the sonoline B, which I think is what most of the ladies here are using.  It's a huge comfort until I start feeling regular movement :)

I have the same one and it works AMAZINGLY!! I have literally found the heart beat every single time. It's has become our new nighttime routine now to listen before we go to bed lol although I think im running out of gel goop stuff lol I don't think I could have held onto my sanity without it! Lol

@mandjs I'm already on Zoloft :/ I've been tapering off methadone and am down to 5mgs and I think that's testing me mentally a bit. Maybe I should talk to my doctor next week about slightly upping my Zoloft. I want to just jump off the methadone but I'm too scared too :(

I'm so happy for you that you are getting off! I wanted to but my clinic has never had a pregnant female before so they are afraid to even breathe on me. Good luck to you and keep me posted on how you feel, hopefully I'll be in your shoes once baby girl comes
Wow didn't think anyone would bring this up at all on this board. Im not on methadone but im on subutex since I was on Suboxone when I got pregnant. You know I almost made a thread about this but truthfully was a bit frightened at the comments I might get since it's kinda a touchy issue. In glad I found others who can relate!

Do any STM's get super annoyed when people just assume you are hoping for this baby to be the opposite sex of your child(ren) you already have? If I hear one more person tell me "oh, hopefully it's a girl this time!" or "well, I'll be praying for a girl for you!" I am going to loose it. I usually just tell them that I am not hoping for a girl and leave it at that (I 100% do not have a preference and will be thrilled have either). Its just really frustrating and quite rude to me. I know they man well, but it just leaves me feeling like everyone will be upset, or worse, think that I am upset, if this baby is a boy. So annoying.

Im annoyed for you. Before we found of the sex of our baby we told everyone we want to in a perfect world stop having kids once we have babies of both sexes and I have a feeling im going to be so annoyed by this my next pregnancy. Speak up so people realise what they are doing!
  • @Darbie914 while I think Gone Girl would be a good one, I saw This Is Where I Leave You and it was soooo good. It was sentimental and funny - as long as you don't mind crude humor. SO liked it too.
  • PSA: if you've never had a Take 5, you need to. For some reason I can only ever find them around Halloween so I always stock up. Seriously the best chocolate ever. (Chocolate, pretzels, caramel, peanuts, and peanut butter).
Damn it now I want one!

@jcar2‌ well at least you have pizza places that deliver to you! I think DH and I would go crazy if we couldn't get pizza delivered. ( we have pizza probably once a week)

Eta: and now all I want for dinner is pizza.

  • @ruemorgan I have everything crossed that your dog will be ok and home soon. I would be a mess if it were my dog. He is our first baby. I know how hard this is for you. ((Hugs))

  • @ruemorgan‌ your update is making me tear up. I hope she pulls through. So glad your boss is understanding and you got to see her.
We lost one of our pups when I was pregnant with my son. She was 15, so we knew it was coming, but it was still hard. And MH boss was a total ass, made him come in for a stupid meeting that totally could have been rescheduled.

@crunchymamaof2 well thank you and kudos to you as well I absolutely 100% agree with you that the matinence medication is not that end all fix all but used appropriately it can be the stepping stone to a lifetime of freedom. My pregnancy was a surprise. I got pregnant on the pill during a round of antibiotics. I suppose I didn't quite believe them when they said that antibiotics can interfere with the pill, well guess what? I was wrong lol surprise! Now I would have much rather been totally off of everything when I got pregnant but everything happens for a reason. I don't question god I just roll with what I am given. My SO decided to get clean at the same time and having him has really helped. It is hard to talk about it with people who don't understand because there is such a stigma, not with all people but don't. I wish I could tell everyone in the world that we are not bad people just made bad choices. And who doesn't? You know. But I understand as you should where they are coming from as well. My SO and I don't really have many friends. We were not able to re locate so unfortunately we have become almost hermits lol just trying to stay away from it all. It's been a year and a half so I know it's time for us to start becoming more social lol hopefully maybe we can meet done other parents friends after this baby arrives! Thank you for sharing your story. I really appreciate it!

  • @drudolph11‌ both my boys were born while I was still on higher doses. This was also a surprise as we were wanting to wait until after I was done. It's been 7 years for me, and I can tell you I was not ready after a year and a half. Hang in there!!!

I just got a totally random phone call from my biological father..? I haven't spoken to him in over a year and haven't seen him for far longer. I thought I would tell him I'm pregnant and get it out of the way since I knew he wasn't really going to care, but I was still really upset by just how little of a fuck he gave about the actual baby. He turned it into asking me how I'm going to stay in shape and emphasizing how easy it is to get fat, then asked me how much I've gained!! Are you fucking kidding me???
First of all, I have never even had the slightest bit of a weight issue. Even if I had, so fucking what??? Yeah I've gained ten pounds (sound the fucking alarms!) but that still puts me around 125 and I'm super happy to gave gained it, asshole. I honestly wish it was more. Why should any of that even matter to him (or anyone at all) anyway?
I guess I shouldn't have expected anything better from a stripper loving man who measures the worth of all women by their physical attributes and nothing else. I'm just still soooo so so uncontrollably furious.
    Sorry, really needed to vent.

  • @jenny0314‌ that makes me so upset about your daughter! Middle school girls can be so mean sometimes. I can't even imagine how bad it must be if it's at a point where she doesn't even want to do something that she is obviously so passionate about. I would honestly do the same if I was in your shoes, so don't worry about being an overbearing mother. She wouldn't have confided in you if she didn't want your involvement at all.

  • Ladies, finally after months of searching and a disappointing disaster with Mazda, I'm trading in my cute little Kia Soul for a badass Sorrento with some great features. It's a 2011 but it's in excellent condition and has all the things I wanted so I'm thrilled. I pick up my new baby in just over an hour! Finally my patience has been rewarded!

@ruemorgan I'm praying for your dog! I can only imagine what you're going through and I hope you get some good news soon!

@hollmb‌ ugh, forget him. Theres a reason you havent talked to him in over a year, try your best to blow off what he said and focus on enjoying your pregnancy. And dont you apologize for venting. Get it out, because you dont need to bottle up that negativity.

You're 100% right, thank you. I needed to hear that. I'll try to find comfort in the fact that he's on the other side of the country and my child won't have to deal with his misogynistic crap.

I got that too!! I was looking at it wondering if it would keep until baby is eating solids. Probably not? It looks kinda good.

Just for buying stuff, or did you sign up with them, or something? :)

    --------------------- quote boxes suck------------

I also received one and have been eyeing it up. They just give you random things with your in-store purchases. I got a couple bottles the first time, baby food the second and cupcakes this last time! The one by me also does a mini raffle where when you enter the store you pick a piece of paper out of a bin and win something immediately. I got a 50% off coupon :)

Edit: Also yes, I know I shop a lot. I needed new bras a couple different times.
