Guise, I think my H is finally understanding this whole parenting thing! (3 years in) We went to the fair today, he held LO's hand the whole time, escorted him on rides, didn't complain once and even initiated a $5 game of toss the ping pong ball in the fish bowl. WE EVEN BROUGHT HOME A FISH. This is coming from the man who has zero patience and wouldn't dream of doing half these things a year ago...

She awarded the contract last fucking Friday, didn't tell any of the other 5 offerors, didn't respond to emails about status of award sent all this week.

I mean we heard rumors as of tues am that it had been awarded and I sent this chick emails saying hey just want to know what status of award is etc.  She ignored it until I said today "listen, I know you awarded it, the value is over FAR 31.104 thresholds where I can protest it even though it's just a task order on an IDIQ, and you better fucking respond to me and give me a debrief by next wed because I know you awarded it DAYS AGO without telling any of the other offerors or else I am just going to file shit with GAO".

Again, very professionally.  But like she wasn't going to even TELL other offerors they were unsuccessful?  Even after they asked? She was just going to ignore the emails?  Fuck you lady let's go.  

Like I don't care that we lost (I mean I care but that's not what this is about), I care that not only are you unprofessional, you're rude.  Those proposals represent literally tens of thousands of dollars of peoples time and efforts and you can't bother to send a form letter letting us know we lost, and when we ask status you just ignore? Again eff you lady let's do this shit.

You know, I hate to sound like I'm always bashing my coworkers, because I'm not really. Luckily I don't have to work with bozos like that on a regular basis, but I have worked with people like that before. I have to be honest, that attitude really irks me. Like they don't care what contractors have to go through just to pull together a proposal. Maybe it's because my dad is a contractor, plus he tried to start up his own company on the side (but it didn't work out), so I've seen what he had to go through just to drum up some business with the govt.

First dentist visit scheduled for this pregnancy -.- Was just supposed to be a cleaning but now I have to get a Lidocaine release form from my OB. Pain from one of my crowns woke me up last night and my face hurts today.

18 wks and 2 days 2day. I believe I felt our baby kick hard 4 d 1st time four days ago ing. He`s a feisty one . Yet to find out what we`re having tho. Doc says we`re in good shape, tho I`m worried I`m adding too much weight too quickly . It`s getting uncomfy lying on my back, as I feel a lil pain wen I do. I still lie on my stomach tho.. I can`t wait to know if it`s a lady or a soldier in here, & know I`d  whatever we`re blest with.

It's things like this that make me scared for the future. And women can be/are soldiers too.

@jenny0314‌ I went to visit her a second time and shes still in the same condition. The nurse said because her condition is so severe(but stabilizing!) we should expect updates now every 12 hours. I also got a list of times from the nurse so I can see her when shes facing out of the kennel, not the wall. Hopefully well have some positive news in the morning. Thank you for thinking of her, you are so sweet to ask.

Does anyone else find it odd and annoying that as more people are getting KU, less stores carry maternity in-store? In what world does this make any sense?

I'm hesitant to buy clothes online because I feel like the return process is such a hassle. I wish more stores carried maternity.

Our dogs heart stopped. They brought her back but said to come down because they dont know if well have another chance. I dont know what to do. I cant do this. Im freaking out.

My random? Ever since becoming a mother I've felt movies need a warning: tough material for parents...it is even worse as a pregnant parent! Anyhow. Annabelle has some difficult moments for parents...I struggled with a few scenes. Despite that, we found it to be decently scary.
