I want my maternity leave to start now. I'm tired of putting on real clothes everyday and being socially polite to my co-workers. I called in sick on Wednesday after being up all night with reflux and it was FABULOUS to not have to get dressed and be able to nap or get things accomplished. My plan right now is to work until the Thursday before my RCS.

Back at triage today. BP is up, down, up again. +1protein in urine. Hooked up to monitors and waiting on labs to come back. Dr. Says I probably won't be pregnant for more than another week. Hope I don't end up with a csection

I've been in the hospitol since Monday & my Jack Russell terrier has chewed up the molding around the fireplace, removed 90% of the potting soil out of our palm tree, chewed one of the legs on our dining room table, chewed up 2 rungs of our upstairs banister, chewed a hole in the water jug we use to water the plants, which leaked all over our kitchen floor, destroyed a metal door stopper for the front door & shredded & destroyed a cardboard box! And, she's refusing to eat! WTH! She never does this kind of stuff normally, I hate to see what I will be coming home to a week from now with two babies in tow! Oh & that's total bs about the granola bar!

My manager just took a large group of us to lunch to celebrate my last day in the office!

So sweet, but now I'm feeling a bit out of sorts because I have to finalize quite a few things!! I felt like taking a picture of my meal and sending it to the nurses who were yelling at me earlier.

@Tickettuesday That drawing is amazing. I think you need a special board artist badge. So, you know, make yourself something cool?

I think @crawford411 should put that pic in her siggy!

Same here, yoga stretches really seem to help. Getting down on the floor and really stretching it out. Also laying on my back with my feet up on the couch for a few minutes gives me some relief.

I just figured out where the following terms/spellings came from: Jalopy, hospitol, and lady's. I had no idea how funny this board was...and I should probably return a few grammar points to some of the regulars.

You miss so much when you only read occasionally! Hopefully I don't dredge up any bad memories, but the hospitol bag thread made me cry. I may be emotional these days, but I have never been so entertained by the musings of complete strangers. I sincerely regret not joining in until a few days ago!

DH just called me after the slipper/dog drama and was like "Hey just wanted to check on how you're doing, I hope your day gets better. By the way, is your gmail app working?" And I was all "I can't check it while I'm on the phone...why wouldn't it be" And he just said his wasn't so he was wondering. Knowing that I would check when I hung up with him. Sneaky man sent me an Ugg giftcard for new slippers :x

I love my ugg slippers, but hate that they run so damn small.

My old ones were Ugg too and that's partially why I was so bummed about my dogs eating them! I swear they're the most comfy things ever. But also hate that they run small because I have giant feet to begin with, and it only makes me feel more giant.

Ugh me too. It's the worst while at work since I sit in a cubicle all day. I discovered this little nerf stress ball I've had lying around at my desk here and wedging it between my chair back and the problem spot has helped. Mini DIY massage!

I was extremely leaky for the first few months but It eased and I didn't have to use any pads at all after about 5 months. I don't know the average time for most though.

Y'all, I had a fuckitall moment at work, cleared my desk, gave paralegal final instructions, set up Outlook out of office, and changed my voicemail. I declared today my last day of work for the year. Since Bossman doesn't come to the office or answer his phone, I sent him a text that I am officially on maternity leave. That was an hour and a half ago and he hasn't responded.

I haven't felt this good, mentally and physically, in MONTHS.

Oh man now that I'm finally caught up on this thread, I hope everyone gets to feeling better! Good luck to everyone having babies today and hope everyone that has had their babies had safe and happy deliveries. Absolutely LOVE the hulk uterus!!! Once I got to page 5 I had to stop to get some cookies and cream ice cream due to all the talking about sweets, so thanks ladies!

I usually make the 1st page because I have to get DD up and ready for school but after my awful sleep last night DH got up and did it! Felt amazing!! I didn't have to get out of bed till 9 due to doctors appointment. My appointments are all about peeing in a cup ,getting measured, and hearing LO's heartbeat, then I'm out the door. After my appointment today we went and pre-registered and toured the hospital so I felt really accomplished today. Now I'm tired and ready for a nap!

Random question and help please, I cannot figure out how to add a photo on mobile app, so if someone out there can explain this to me shoot me a message please!

Soo.... I'm not caught up on the randoms yet (sorry guise) but I had to post because I had an appt with my MFM today (I'm 37+5), and my BP was elevated a bit, it was a couple weeks ago as well. No protein in my urine, blood work is normal, but my Dr decided she wants to deliver at 38 weeks because of my BP. So we go in TOMORROW NIGHT to start induction. Holy crap guise!! I'm kind of freaking out. I'm having a baby this weekend!
