The cheesy bean burritos from Taco Bell taste like vomit :-&
I think most things from there taste like vomit, not that I've tasted vomit
This. I haven't had Taco Bell since HS. Blech! _______________________________ Early F.C. (don't know why you'd flame me for this): I've never had Taco Bell.

You know, the taste that you have in your mouth after vomitting? I think some of their stuff is okay. I had to grab a quick bite yesterday and my choices were Taco Bell or McDonald's. Should have went with chicken nuggets!

I have another. A15 gets ragey about the term "gender" they prefer you say "sex" of the baby. Because they are 2 totally different things blah blah. I know I'm in the minority when I say I prefer to use gender. It just sounds better than "sex" what "sex" is the baby? It takes me back to farm days when you would "sex" the chicks to separate the males from the females and toss em I to separate boxes. It's so informal. Guess that makes me weird but whatever... Even the businesses call it "gender checks" not "sex scans" JFC ppl

Ultrasound places can be wrong in what they call it too.
It's not that big a deal but i do think its good to educate people that there IS a difference. People just don't like to say 'sex' because it's an icky word. Sorry that the correct term makes you think of boning, but it is what it is. There's no such thing as an intrauterine gender check, because they're just checking for sex organs. They can check the biological sex, they cannot check the social construct that is gender before your baby has had a chance to be socialized at all.
I don't think its that big a deal but I just hate the argument that well I don't like the accurate word I'm going to use a different one. Words communicate a meaning and if you use them incorrectly they are worthless. If I decided I just don't like the term mayonnaise, it sounds gross to me, so now I'm going to call mayonnaise miracle whip, because I just like that term more and it's similar anyways, you'd wonder WTF is wrong with me. They're not interchangeable words.
I get that it's the correct term and no it doesn't make me think of boning. It makes me think of sexing animals and how mundane the process is. I get we are animals too. I feel like people started using "gender" for this reason because it sounds better. And for some sure, less icky.
Edit: I'm not saying that I go around calling it Gender check or anything. I'm just trying to explain the weird mental image I get when someone says "sex of the baby" ...chicken farmer tossing chicks in boxes.
How do you sex a chick? I mean we have chickens and chicks and order chicks and we never know what a chick is until it's of a considerable age, like not even a chick anymore.
I also think people should know the difference between gender and sex and use the correct term - but sometimes when I'm a dirty lurker and I see people jump all over someone about it I roll my eyes. It's fine to educate someone, but when the first five responses are "sex, not gender" it's annoying. Maybe each board needs one designated member who gives that answer, and everyone else just answers it because it's not like they didn't understand what the poster meant to say

This exactly! I never respond to everyone jumping all over each other about the proper term. I just eyeroll and think oh Gawd here we go again, click the x and move on.
I can't believe people get so ragey over it. Just understand what they meant and move on. Let them be blissfully unaware, who gives a rip?
I don't think they need to be unaware - I'm just saying it would be ideal if only one person did the educating, rather than everyone all at once. I have no business on any other BMB so whatevs.
@haddocky it's a glamorous process...not Our next door neighbor raised chickens. I watched him do it all the time with the hatchlings. His son and I were in the same classes in school.
You shouldn't have to wear business attire on a Saturday at work. I'm not meeting anyone. Im going to sit around for four hours. I don't need business attire for sitting!!!!!!
So basically I got my period and I'm bloated and my work slacks don't really button. Sooo yeah.

Fruit chipotle (I like raspberry or blackberry chipotle) over cream cheese, eat with wheat thins. Heaven
I'd rather have chipotle but nothing beats taco cabana in Texas end of story.

Cafe Rio in Vegas. It just reminds me of Cali Mex which I hate. I'd rather eat Tex Mex any day!
