How is everyone doing this morning? Way to early to be up. Anyone else have to be up at the crack of dawn this beautiful Sunday morning? I want to go back to bed. I-)
My husband just got home from work. So my dog and I no longer have the bed to ourselves. Ohh well. Maternity pictures today!! We're going to the beach for them so we are super excited. I'm thinking it's a Starbucks morning

@Maple403 if I did not have to work this morning I would totally be in bed. I like to wake up between 8-9. The 5a mornings kill me. Have a fun at the dog park
Good morning! I am up, but I am a morning person so I did sleep in till practically 7am
Love is like infinity: You can't have more or less infinity, and you can't compare two things to see if they're "equally infinite." Infinity just is, and that's the way I think love is, too.

Umm over half my post disappeared when I pressed post. Where did you go!

Up and about! Grocery shopping, going for a long walk with the dog, and going to Alamo Drafthouse for brunch and a movie then laundry and laziness. Happy Sunday, ladies!
Can't sleep. I've got a lot on my mind, and to add to it some jackass on another forum I was seeking help at decided to cyberstalk me and is now blowing up the forum with personal info about me. I really hate people sometimes.
But to cheer me up, my hubby found this photo yesterday....Don't know what we are having yet, but those of you who are team blue, this will apply to you.....
@aggiebug sewing stockings is such a good idea. I'm sure they are treasured!
DH and I got up early and I made breakfast. I thought my pork aversion was over, but lets just say bacon didn't last too long. Boo!
Now we've got the truck and Lo-Boy with a load on and are taking a drive together. Should be a fun day. Later we will head to the lake with his family for a hobo dinner.
Morning ladies! I'm 20 weeks today, and feeling great about being at the halfway mark! :x not gonna lie, I'm still in bed but up for the day. My pug Poly who's been dealing with collapsing trachea problems slept through the night last night (which means mom did too minus my regular 4 am peepee break) so today is already a great day. @StephanieLBerg , that pic is way too funny and random!
@StephanieLBerg did they get the info from your screen name, your SN always scares me because of crazy cyber stalkers out there. If you need to change yours here you can do it on the knot.
We have a fun day planned. Our town has free entry for locals (in September) to some of the museums downtown. They also have free trolley rides. The trolleys look like little trains and DD2 is majorly in to trains so we are going to go ride all over downtown then try to hit 2-3 of the museums (did 1 yesterday).
Also, the girls have $20 to spend and they have decided they want to get puppy surprise. I remember when the original version came out and I always wanted it but never got it. I am probably a little more excited than I should be to take them to get that today.
@StephanieLBerg did they get the info from your screen name, your SN always scares me because of crazy cyber stalkers out there. If you need to change yours here you can do it on the knot.
It was a different screen name, not this one. I never had someone cyberstalk me before, so I didn't think to use something completely random. Its not info like my address or anything, they just found my old twitter account I haven't used in years, my old myspace account, and an old account I had on Spark People and Weight Watchers.com several years back. So nothing new and pertinent, but still angers me.
Up and about! Grocery shopping, going for a long walk with the dog, and going to Alamo Drafthouse for brunch and a movie then laundry and laziness. Happy Sunday, ladies!
Was wondering the same thing! I love Alamo Drafthouse and really miss the coconut ale they sell. What movie are you going to see? Last time DH and I went, we saw Snowpiercer. Great movie and very reminiscent of the BioShock games.
You guys, this wedding we went to last night had the BEST CAKE and I turned into a raging cakezilla! The brides aunt is a baker and omg, lets just say I got 2 pieces there and took 2 home (they had it boxed up for favors) and DH was like "I have never seen this side of you" lol. Like they had a section of the chocolate not cut up and I was about to stuff it in a box. It was that good. ;;)
Hope everyone has a fab Sunday!
@sarabell52 I hear you girl!! I've called a friend out for saying it to me after she was so hurt by another friend saying it. So unnecessary, ugh. I HOPE I can remember to keep the thought to myself when the time comes. I just hate it.
AFM, watching the Ryder Cup with my coffee. Heading to an acupuncture appointment and then to my bride-to-be friend to help with her favors and seating chart!!
@Mrs.Zee you are cracking me up. Cakezilla - ROAR!
@sarabell52 I cannot BELIEVE the dumbass shit people say to pregnant women. I have a perfect example, in fact.
Last night at my family birthday party while we were sitting down to dinner my Aunt says to me in front of everyone, "So, what's your weight gain so far?" I was so caught off guard that I just said, "ummm 18". I'm SO mad at myself for not coming up with a smartass response. But seriously, WHO ASKS THAT?!?!
My male cousin then tells me he's ant-vaccination and I literally cackled in his face and walked away. I just couldn't.
Can't wait to meet our darling daughter, Abigail Elizabeth
Poor, poor pitiful me morning. Nothing tastes right this morning. I've managed a sip of hot cocoa and 2 bites of my favorite oatmeal.
Upside: DS woke up early but he was so happy and cuddly. He just laid next to me for half an hour touching my face and hair. It was so nice. I can't wait to do this with him and little sis.
DH left town on Friday and won't be back until Tuesday. DD has been a holy terror since then. I think it's due to the fact that she's been on steroids since Wednesday...I'm calling it 'roid rage. :P
I've tried to take her out to eat with my parents twice and both times were horrific, and each caused me to start having braxton hicks. Not a fan.
On a good note, I somehow managed to get nursery curtains sewn yesterday, and my wooden letters for our alphabet wall got delivered! I'm going to start painting and modge podging soon!
@sarabell52 That's definitely one of my most hated comments, too!!! My mom's response to the news that we're having another girl? "Good luck in another 10 years!" as if she was the model mother to teenage girls. When I was in high school, she not only rooted out and found my diary and read it, but she also lied point-blank every time I gave her a chance to come clean about it. It was a huge violation of my privacy, plusandalso she called my boyfriend's parents (NEVER confronted me about it first or said one word about what she'd read because then she'd have to admit she had read my diary) and chewed them out for not supervising us better. Who the F does that?? So yeah, I'm not going to take any advice she gives me too seriously.
@sarabell52 and @DronkeyGal last night I was on Skype with my mom. While talking for over an hour she saw me snack on some apple bites, eat a mini Twix and have an icee freeze. She quietly whispered to my dad "she's gonna get as big as she did with Ronan" (+60 lbs) snicker snicker "she's gonna get so big". :-w that was very appropriate and mature for a 50 year old woman.
We've talked before about all of the stupid things people say to pregnant ladies. You know the one I hate most? (Well, maybe the one I've heard most). "You just wait." Hate it! In regards to labor and delivery, newborn phase, diapers, toddlers, second baby, whatever. "You just wait" is so freaking condescending and makes the assumption that everyone's experience is the same. It's not, so STFU.
Done.
Mine is when I am snuggling someone else's baby and someone who doesn't know me very well says, "awww you're practicing." I've been taking care of infants professionally for YEARS and it annoys me to no end. However, these people who comment generally don't know my professional background so I pretend like its all cool.
Also, I got my first set of cankles last night at a wedding. Gross. I checked them out this morning and they went down a little but still look sprained. Wasn't expecting this so soon!
@KristinMTBell, I just roll my eyes now. Telling my mom that I don't like those comments results in her telling me that I need thicker skin. She used to tease me about being too skinny and let's me know when I gain to much weight (she seems happiest when I stay between 120-130). It's been like this since middle school so it's a miracle that I've never had an ED or addiction. I ignore that crap. I was pre-pregnancy size before being KTFU again so obviously I'm willing to put in the work to get back to a comfortable weight of I do gain. It just still amazed me that I get this but my little sister hasn't heard a word about the fact that she's pushing 150 (I'm so glad she hasn't) and my mom is 140. Wtf? I need to try to be model thin without being model thin but no one else does? I don't get it.
I'm sorry about your dream. I cried when I read it. I can't imagine how hard it is not having your mom for important moments in life like that. I hope tonight you get to see her face and she can tell you how much she loves you and that she is proud of you.

I haven't really gotten many comments like this. Although my MIL and husbands grandma did try i ta few times but I always met them with what do you think hailey was just hatched at three years old I've already done this. After that I never got another comment like that.
@jennhillhoite my mothers thing growing up was to tell me how plain I looked. All the time. If I wasn't wearing makeup she'd tell me how I needed to do something with myself. She would only comment on my weight if I gained some and tell me if I was pregnant I had to move out. Mother of the year right there.
Today is my one year wedding anniversary! i can't believe a year has gone that fast. Its also my brothers birthday. We got married on his birthday because he decided to marry his wife on mine.
Dh wants to go to Joes Crab Shack for dinner. I'd rather go for lunch so that I can go to bed early tonight for work tomorrow. I'm so excited! We haven't been to Joes since our wedding night!

Sorry I've been missing... Haven't been feeling well. Still suffering headaches and today, for the first time ever, between both pregnancies I've had... I threw up. For no reason at all. I just got up, and there it went. Feeling super nauseous and irritable as well. Checked my BP yesterday, it was up to 148/84 from my Monday reading of 123/86. Checked it again today, still hanging at 144/82. Going to call my doctor first thing in the morning to let her know all of what's been going on. I must admit, I'm a little worried because over this past week this swelling, headaches and everything just don't feel normal to me.
OAN : My sister got engaged last night! She's living in Hawaii (she's in the army) and her BF proposed to her on the beach... It was so sweet. I really hate that were so far apart during these huge milestones in our lives... We've always been very close. I miss her.

@sarabell52 I hate that comment. My BF always says "you just wait" I finally told her that I don't judge her for the things she chooses to do with her baby but I don't want to compare my journey of being a mom with hers. I think to give her credit sometimes I am strongly opinionated with certain things. She woke her baby up every 2 hours to breastfeed until 6 months, they co-sleep and her DH sleeps on the couch, and if baby doesn't want to sleep in the night and just wants to play she stays up with him. (These examples aren't wrong or bad but I'm just not sure what I will do in these situations) so my response is always "I'm not sure what I will do" her response is "you just wait" and that's my Sunday rant.
Thanks ladies...DH really wants me to rest, so for the first time ever, he is out doing the grocery shopping! I gave him a very thorough list, but he's not as frugal with prices as I am so in excited to actually having some name brand food in the house today!

I'm sorry @PeaceofKia. I'm glad you plan to call the OB and I hope this is just a rough weekend. I hope BP doesn't turn into a serious long term pregnancy problem fire you.
@krendel1990 that is such a rough situation. I only know 1 non vaccinated kid and he isn't allowed around DS even though the parents have begged for a play date. Luckily, the wife in this situation is so bitter about this pregnancy that they aren't talking to us, at all.
Woke up unusually early this morning, did dishes, cleaned the kitchen and made jalapeño cheese kolaches. Now H is playing video games and I'm going to watch season 4 of The Walking Dead on Netflix! I'm feeling much better since my fall the other day so I'll be on a cleaning spree tomorrow.
Me and DH were woken up at 5 am from an Amber Alert on our phones (as was the entire state of WI). Apparently a father kidnapped his daughter after the mother and another male were were shot to death. It was cancelled when we finally woke at 7 am, so I guess she was found. That was the scariest sound, but I'm glad they do things like that.
On a Positive note, we had a fantastic early breakfast, went grocery shopping, ran errands and took the dog for a walk, all before 1030 am
I have been really lazy today. I feel guilty but I have been away from TB for a while so I had to do some catching up/lurking. Smelly butt? Really?!!! That was fabulous! FI had to come check on me because I was laughing so hard!!!!

Woohoo for kolaches and TWD!!! I might start that first and then watch s3 of Call the Midwife.
Did about 4 loads of laundry, cleaned, & put out my halloween decorations! My husband asked if I needed him to go anywhere with me today..this is rare since its football sunday!

We are closing the pool today. Also, Sunday mornings are for my regular dog park visits. Hope you all have a good Sunday!
