I had the best breakfast: croissant French toast with powdered sugar and fruit and syrup! Yum!  I may have felt a kick (haven't felt any yet), but it also may have just been my insides getting excited over all the sugar I've consumed so far today.  I threw in a load of laundry (I am super proud of myself) and am working on the butt-ton of files I brought home from work. ...sometimes I regret my career choice. Not sure if I'm going to be able to keep this up once the baby gets here.   :-/

Feeling happy happy this morning. Work last night (a wedding) went really well and even tho my sciatica is in full swing (so bad i couldnt roll over last night) im psyched. I made great money and got to eat really good food. My boss is awesome and kept making me plates of things and delivering them to the bar so i wasnt hungry (she said when she was pregnant she was always hungry)

Going to a pig roast at a friends this afternoon. Lots of food and kids for dd to play with. Should be a good time.

We've had a productive morning! Church, grocery shopping & some cleaning.

I did get my first ignorant comment today. "Are you sure there's just one in there?" To which I said, "Yes. Just one & since I'm at -5lbs at 20 weeks and my doctor isn't concerned either way, I guess we're all good!" Grrrr.

Good morning ladies.

Are there other hg mom's here? I know of at least one. I'm having a really rough time today. One of my medications ran out and the pharmacy still hasn't filled it. Without it I'm useless. I've been stuck on the couch running to the bathroom every ten minutes.

I'm not even halfway through this pregnancy and all I can think about is the end. I can't do anything in the house or properly take care of my two year old.

When I'm medicated properly it's not as bad, today is just rough and all I want to do is cry. I always thought I'd be one of those ladies who loved every second instead of counting down each one. I'm so happy for both my babies, I just can't deal today.

@kismetjess - kiddie roid rage is actually a real thing.  DS was on Albuterol at one point and it turned him into an unrecognizable monster.  I've never seen anything like it.  I will never put him on that again - FIL is a doctor and gave me a couple of other non-steroid medications to request if necessary.  Hope it's short-lived for her!

Did my grocery shopping this morning and have chili simmering on the stove and cornbread going in the oven soon.  Even though it's supposed to warm back up here by the end of the week, I'm totally taking advantage of the fall weather we're having this weekend!

Now if only the tests in front of me would magically grade themselves so I could go take a nap and wake up without the headache that I've had for the past 2 days.....

@Paleomama‌ i do, but it would be to have an on call physician call me back and tell me what I probably know... To call in the morning and see if they can see me same day. I've had a horrible headache all day and have only been awake for maybe 2 hours today. I hate feeling so sick!

My husband went to the pharmacy and they claimed they never got the order. Then they magically found it and got it ready. It's on its way. I can't wait for relief!

I need to catch up and read all of this thread, but I just need need to mention 1 person. JJ Watt!!! I hope one of you ladies has him on your fantasy team!!! He is amazing! We went to the game today and had so much fun. My husband was even excited my boyfriend JJ scored today!

This. My mom took out her issues on me, her mom did it to her and I plan on stopping this in its tracks. I don't want my daughter to feel like she has to be thin. I can write a book on some of the things my parents do that traumatized me so I'm hoping my kids couldn't write more than a chapter and that it's normal "mom and dad kissed in front of my friends type stuff.

I can't believe there was an acronym thread to begin with. And now I can't believe there's a DD. No one drop the OP in DC; she'd implode since it's a veritable alphabet soup around here.

Went to my brunch today and not one, but two people didn't show up. So I had to wait 45 minutes before ordering food. Not cool, people. But in fun news, we decided on our nursery furniture and are ordering next week.

Hey lovely ladies!! Just checking in from Vancouver to say hi and I miss you! We had a little sex reveal party for our families and it went amazingly well. I may aw some pics of it once I am back at a real computer next week. I just wanted to let you gals know that I love this group and I am actually more comfortable posting here these days an I am my first bmb fb group that I have been a part of for nearly 3 years now! I totally agree. The "you just wait" comment is also used every time you complain about anything. As in me: "I'm tired." asshat: "you just wait!". Or "My back hurts" asshat: "you just wait!"

It's like people enjoy minimizing anything going on with you currently in anticipation of just how uncomfortable/miserable you potentially may be later in pregnancy or after having a kid. Seriously, these people need to stop gloating. Also, when someone says "I'm tired" or whatever, JUST SAY SOMETHING MINIMAL! Like "Oh, that sucks, maybe you can get to bed early." You don't have to one-up or implicitly criticize every little thing pregnant people say.

Rant over. I'm thinking of one particular type of person in this rant. I call them the gloating minimizer. If you haven't met one, you are lucky.

@mahalo3 Oh my JJ is just phenomenal.  We can't watch him often because we live out of state and don't have NFL tv or whatever it is, but we keep up with the Texans.  The guy is such a class act too that it is hard not to love him.

Woot! My Ravens won! It has been a great football weekend for my teams.  Hard to believe we move in 1.5 months.  AHHH I have so much stuff to do plus my sister is coming to visit this week for a month.

Yes I'm so pumped for Abbredaris! H and I decided if he spends this next year building muscle/getting bigger, it might work out okay for him. I was hoping Chris Borland would come the Packers way, but no luck.
