  • It's so unfortunate how shitty everyone is on this board. You take everything everyone says and twist it to fit your own narrative. You enjoy only the company of fellow bitches. You're not happy till you've got a brawl. What kind of parents will you be? Will your little gems be berating other kids? Probably. Do I hate kids? No. But go ahead and draw conclusions about me and then give me shit for doing the same thing about someone else that I don't know. Maybe you'll also teach your children to be hypocrites.

  • I just don't understand people and their breastfeeding exhibitionism. I bf my son, but I never desired to have people staring at me in my private moments with my son. In public, I covered up if I had to feed him. Most of the time I planned what I was doing around his schedule so I wouldn't be stuck in that situation. If he was hungry, he ate, and it never seemed to bother him. I'm pretty sure a baby mostly cares that they are being fed. We can argue about whether breasts are sexual or not all day and night. The reality is this is America and people here are sexually attracted to them. I would never walk around with my nipple exposed, especially in a school! WTF is wrong with people.

I just finished reading allllll 8 pages.
dani727 This is the most disgusting post I've read on this board. I have never read something so incredibly rude and judgmental...until I read your additional posts attempting to defend yourself. You're giving teachers a bad name and that's really discouraging...then you comment about the "crazy bitches on this board". You can quite honestly go away.

Edit: toned it down a notch.

  • I finally finished reading this whole thread. I just have to say I love you ladies SO much. As a FTM I knew I wanted to breastfeed but didnt have much of an opinion otherwise. This thread just sealed the deal for me. :x :x :x :x

Seriously you ladies are being extremely harsh. I agree with what she is saying, there is a time and a place for uncovered bfing, and perhaps an environment such as was aforementioned in this forum isn't the proper place for public bfing. Unfortunatey, we do live in a perverse society and whether or not you wish to give credence to that, it does not in fact change the situation. I see nothing wrong with covered feeding, and if you begin this ritual from the get-go, I do not believe your child would have an issue with it. And to answer the ignorant response of one of you, yes if I were hungry enough or felt that someone would take offense to it, I would eat with a blanket over my head. You are all atacking an individual based on the fact that she disagreed with one scenario, and frankly I find the turn in this discussion a bit ludicris and childish. The issue isnt that one person believes bfing is wrong, it is situational courtesy for the surrounding individual in the atmosphere in which you chose to bf for an exorbinant amount of time.

No one is being attacked. People are giving their opinions and she is simply overwhelmed that more people share the opinion opposite of hers. If thats called being attacked then stop asking for opinions.
You obviously haven't read all the msgs. Absolutely am being attacked. But go ahead and support the others so they accept you.

Hi - I'm a moderator here. You are right. There are some TOU violations that happened. You were called names - I don't disagree. But to be clear, you weren't perfect on the TOU, yourself. People in glass houses and all that.

@ruemorgan is a "regular" here. She doesn't need to say or do anything in this thread to be accepted. She supports the others, we support her. And yes - if we disagree, that gets said, too.

You really may want to step away from this thread, though. You're not really helping your cause any.

Not saying I was but I was absolutely 100% provoked. Anyway I am done with this thread. I'm sad because I really did enjoy a laugh and the support from this group but if shit like this happens everytime I ask for some opinions on something or provide an opinion that others may disagree with then it's not worth the brain space and anger that I feel upon reading it. Obviously anything I say will be torn to shreds and some people are keeping notes to laugh to themselves if I have a miscarriage or some other unfortunate shit happens -just waiting for 'karma'.( @etoille‌ ) That is the OPPOSITE of support. That is abuse and some seriously twisted shit. I don't wish negativity in any form on anyone. Anyway if I DO stick around, I can't wait for your future judgement and keeping tabs on my misfortunes. You've officially ruined TB for me.

    Ditto.

Hey, OP, while not particularly "androgynous," my 10 year old son loves My Little Pony, his favorite color is pink, I am very involved in his school (I've volunteered weekly since he was in Kindergarten), and I plan on exclusively breastfeeding his sibling, which means he or she will be with me all the time for the first several months, including events such as the one you described. You wanna judge my family, too?

Btw, I am a teacher and find your actions and post disgusting.

I'm a teacher. I also teach high school- so someone breast feeding at that level would probably raise a few eyebrows. In general though I don't think WHERE one is breast feeding makes a difference.
