Me: 33
DH: 39
TTC: 4 years.
Me: PCOS. Polyps.
DH: Low morphology and motility.
TTC naturally - 1yr.
4 IUI with metformin - All BFN.
Changed ER.
IVF # 1 - 6 blasts made it to freeze. Transferred 1 fresh blast. Low first beta, but rose appropriately. Bean made it and we heard Heartbeat!! Sadly Bean couldn't hold on. Heartbroken. M/C.
FET # 2 - 2 beautiful blasts transferred. 1st beta - 74. #'s rose appropriately. Ultrasound found Sac and fetal pole! Sadly bean couldn't hang on. M/C. Devastated.
One frosty left.
IVF#2 - ER Scheduled for November. We will be doing PGD. Transfer most likely JAN 2015.
Can I just randomly mention how incredibly amazing and helpful this group is? I'm having such a sh*tty week, but this group holds me together for 2 reasons.
1) I am amazed at how happy I am for you BFPs out there. Seriously, I have spent the better part of 4 years secretly resenting people who announce their BFPs (even those with IF) but being part of this group has really helped me to learn your stories and root for other women - even if it's not my time.
2) I love reading where everyone is at. When someone says they started stims, I get this "Ah yes, I remember back in the day when I started stimming" feeling of nostalgia like I'm 80 yrs old. I'm no IF veteran, but a community like this with so many levels of expertise and so many different stages of treatment is SUCH a blessing.
There's my gratitude for the day. September Sweet Peas Rock!
30 yrs, healthy & TTC since April 2010
DH 32yrs & healthy
*unexplained infertility*
Regularly access alternative medicine to supplement a lack of resources in our geographical area.
Three rounds of clomid (50mg days 3-7) were useless.
IUI#1 w/clomid & HCG in May 2013, BFN.
IUI#2 w/clomid & HCG on July 23rd. BFN.
IUI #3 in August cancelled last minute, due to lab error.
IVF#1- Started Gonal F stims October 13 2013 for IUI. Over-responded with too many follicles, so converted to IVF. Retrieval October 29th - got 5 eggs, 4 fertilized. Had 2 perfect little embryos transferred on day 3 (Nov. 1). The remaining 2 didn't survive to freeze. Got our BFN on November 13th 2013.
IVF#2 - Started stims August 21st. Triggered with Suprefact, started on dostinex due to risk of OHSS. Retrieval September 5th - got 27 eggs! 21 embryos on day 3. Embryos deteriorated quickly. ESet 5day blast on Sept 10. No embryos high enough quality to freeze. BFN came Sept. 22.
Reserved a semi-known proven donor in August .
Waiting for consult/screening and protocols with estimated fresh cycle timing in October
Hi Sweet Peas! First off, CONGRATULATIONS to all the BFPs!! It really gives me so much hope / optimism to see all of your positives! Also, keeping everything crossed for those ladies who are PUPO! I'll be joining you soon :-) As for me, had u/s and blood work for my Saturday ET (FET cycle). Lining was 7.5, estrogen 146 and progesterone 0. The RE's office said all of this is good and my estrogen should be above 200 by my transfer on Saturday with estrace, as well as my lining thicker, and crinone should help w/ the progesterone, but I can't help but feel nervous when my numbers if I was to have a fresh transfer were sky high and lining super thick. Anyways, hoping that Saturday goes well!

I start stimming on Friday! WE had our nurse talk meeting today, returned all the loan forms, signed consent, and ordered meds.
I start Gonal-F and microHCG on Friday. I take them for four days, go in for bloodwork. Go in again on day 6 for ultrasound/bloodwork. Some time on/after Day 6 they put me on Cetrotide to suppress ovulation. I continue all three shots (Cetrotide in the AM and Gonal-F and microHCG at night) and go in for daily bloodwork/ultrasounds after Day 6. I could be done on Day 9 - I need to have my estrogen over 1000 and at least 5 mature follicles by then. The nurse said since I've been on BC it might take more than 9 days for me, so no scheduled retrieval. Sometime after the 27th (that'll be my Day 9). My trigger shot is Ovidrel. They do put me under and I'll have to be monitored at home for 24 hours. He wants to do a 5-day transfer as long as everything goes well (they won't do it if I have an estrogen level over 5,000 and over 20 follicles), but that can change based on how they're growing.
My DH and I are so excited to get started finally!
And I love to bake! I am really good at cookies. Potato chip cookies and M&M/chocolate chip are probably my specialties.

Congrats to all the BFPs out there! So exciting and encouraging!
Still just stimming away here and anxious for my appt in the morning.
QOTW: I definitely prefer to cook, although I'm not always fond of that, either. I'm more of a "find a delicious recipe that's at least somewhat healthy and won't take more than 45 minutes to make" kind of girl.
amyelise25viola27 - So happy for you and H&H 9 months!
@ky29 and @pintobean39 good luck at your beta - it sounds very promising!!!
I am still PUPO 6dp5dt - HPT was negative this morning....plan to POAS again tomorrow.
I love to bake and cook! Baking is probably my favorite though. I like to follow directions and follow the rules, which is very much what baking with recipes are for me.

Wow, congrats to amyelise25, gnl42, HCAMP123, Hollowberry and viola27 for your BFP! I hope all of us can be so lucky!
I apologize for the long time between updates, but it has been a bit crazy out there. I had my monitoring appointment last week and it went well. We started daily PIO shots on Friday. Finally, transfer is Thursday! I'm ready to be there.
QOTD: I prefer baking (cookies or cake). When cooking, I get too hungry and that never turns out well (hubby actually does the cooking in our household).
Me: 34, PCD (defective cilia in fallopian tubes), borderline thyroid
congrats to our new BFPs and good luck to those awaiting their betas. @CRMhoney FX for doubling on next beta and that this one is just taking a little extra time!
For me, today wasn't great. 5dp5dt. My PIO last night bled really bad. also I started having cramps on and off today. It feels like period cramps trying to break through the evil progesterone wall. I know, I shouldn't read into it but...I can't help but feel it's a bad sign. 5dp5dt was when I started to get crampy for my last IVF attempt. I was going beta or bust but I might end up breaking down and POAS before then. I'll prob wait til thursday though.

I love to bake and cook! Baking is probably my favorite though. I like to follow directions and follow the rules, which is very much what baking with recipes are for me.
@amyelise25 awesome beta!!! Congrats!!!!

I don't if it is being a Sweet Pea or that it's my birthday month, but I am super excited and very positive about this cycle. I couldn't sleep last because I am so excited. I never felt like this in another group. I'm happy to be a Sweet Pea, especially since it is with such a great group of ladies.
Congrats to our BFP's! FX for the PUPO's and ER girls this wk! I'm having a hard time keeping track of this ginormous group! Lots of good things happening. ((Hugs)) to those that need them
AFM- day #4 stimming! Had a monitoring appt today, where RE counted 13 follies so far, but I know it's still early. E2 is coming right up too. Staying on the same dose until Saturday, for my next US/BW. Is it me, or is that a LONG time btwn appts?
QOTD- cooking, but I'd rather have someone cook for me
Have a good week girls!
