Mine is today at 2 EST. I'm going back and forth between feeling excited and being nervous. I made sure to go get Starbucks this morning because at the NST the tech mentioned that she could see all the food in my intestines (thanks pregnancy constipation), and for whatever reason Starbucks always seems to get things moving. Hopefully no poo in the way this time!
No, not kidding. It seems while you think things are going great, someone mentions things like kicking & you start freaking out Thank you for the sigh of relief!!!
@ryanmichael1208 I wasn't trying to be a B, I just couldn't tell if you had posted that as a joke because this is what we are currently talking about in the random thread. 22-25 Weeks is when most people really start to feel movement. You might actually be feeling it already, just not realizing it. Most drs and MWs don't even have you start doing kick counts until a few weeks into the third tri.
Had a wonderful scan this morning. I drank tons of water on the way over, get there and tech says it works best with an empty bladder. Oops. Had to pee beforehand and once during. It took forever! I had no idea they would get so detailed with all the measurements. It was very cool though and everything checked out completely normal. Tech confirmed female sex. We got a lot of pictures, but this one is my favorite. I imagined my baby saying "Enough with the pictures! Get out my face!!!"
We've chosen to be super relaxed with testing, etc. so I haven't had any ultrasounds yet which is killing me. We're due for our AS the first week of October and I can't wait. Heartbeat is great. Started feeling LO at 15.5 weeks, but so anxious to see. Love hearing about everyone's journeys. GL to everyone else!
Good news - we are having a boy and a girl.
Bad news - the girl has a diaphragmatic hernia. I had an amniocentesis done to hopefully rule out any chromosome abnormalities. If that comes back negative, the doctor feels like it will be a favorable prognosis. However, she will be looking at immediate surgery.
Welcome to team purple! I'm sorry to hear about her diaphragmatic hernia, but at least they think it will be easily repaired. Fingers cross that the amnio results are great. How long do you have to wait for results?

Twins? You mean two babies? WOW!
Team PURPLE!!
We are excited to meet William Alexander and Harper Abigail in 2015!
Mine was today! Results are in! We are having a boy! Also he was playing some games and hiding his face the entire time. Disappointed about that, but glad he is healthy and is in the 52nd percentile for weight, length and size of head (thank god this is average)

I'm sorry to hear this--hopefully everything comes back negative. Congrats on the boy and girl though!
Thank you. It is a bit surreal. Part of her stomach and intestines are in her chest instead, so not enough room for her lungs on one side and her heart is displaced a bit. Her liver is where it should be, which is good. If we there are no issues back with the amnio, we will be seeing a pediatric surgeon, and a high risk OB. Surgery will be right after birth.
There is about a 90% chance that the amnio will be negative.
Thinking about you hun!!! 90% is good odds, I hope it comes back all negative. ((hugs))
My scan went well. It took forever because apparently Reid is going to be as stubborn as his big sister. He didn't want to roll over so the tech could get the measurements she needed. After about an hour of her trying to get a certain view of the sacral spine, she gave up and went to talk to the Dr. The Dr came in and wanted to try one more time to see it before making me reschedule. The little stinker had turned over! Dr was able to see everything and said it all looked good. He is measuring about 5 days ahead at about 11oz. And it's a good thing we weren't trying to stay team green because he was flashing his junk everywhere!
Both girls are measuring right on track. Each weighing 9oz and baby B as suspected was a little uncooperative. She thought she would move non-stop and be positioned with her feet to her head and kick & punch sister but everything looked great. So thankful!
Forgot to give my one piece of advice to ladies that haven't had their A/S yet. If you have sensitive skin like me, do NOT shave your cooter the same day as your scan. I shaved mine this morning and when the goo got into my freshly shaved pores it stung like a MOFO!!!
Can't wait to meet our darling daughter, Abigail Elizabeth
Mine was today, Noah is gonna have a little brother!! Baby #2 was super cooperative and was swimming around all over -- it was so fun to see all his movement and his little heart beating!
I had mine today went to the wrong hospital but they had room so they let me get it there instead. After doing some paper work I was ready to see my little one. I chuged a bunch of oj prior and my bladder was going to blow but the tech was happy cuz she could see what she needed and let me go the the restroom a bit after. Little b was moving like crazy kicking and punching I'm suprise I couldnt feel anything she got all the measurements and finally showed us that baby b is a girl yay!!! I was soooo happy ♡♥ now for a name lol

So excited and a little nervous after reading everyone's posts! Congrats to all your news and t&p's to those with less than perfect news. Our scan is at 10 this morning. Praying for a healthy baby and that he/she shows the goods. We're going to have the tech write it down and put it in an envelope and my BFF is filling a box with balloons for a gender reveal with family tonight. So just under 5 hours until our us but 12 until we will find out gender! GL to anyone else getting their us today!!
Update! Baby showed the goods but we won't find out until tonight! I think everything looks good with baby but won't get the official report until after the doctor looks at the images. Can't wait until 5pm!!
Our EDD is February 24th. We're not doing any elective ultrasounds, so we're waiting until the full 20 week diagnostic assessment to see our baby for the first time (!), find out the sex, and (most importantly) check on them to make sure they're healthy. Hubbz just called this morning to make our appointment for Wednesday October 8th (20 weeks, 1 day) and just having the appointment on the calendar is making me SO EXCITED.
Reading everyone's posts also makes me giddy. I love baby excitement.
@sincerelyapril, I haven't had any ultrasounds yet either. I knew my LMP confidently, so my doctor didn't need a "dating ultrasound", and I have never been offered a NT screen. Everything else is proceeding normally in my pregnancy, so the anatomy scan will be our FIRST peek. (In fact, out of 9 other pregnancies, I only had an "early" ultrasound one other time. Craziness.) I was beginning to feel alone. I wonder how many other ladies like us haven't even had a peek yet?
We had ours today. Our baby boy looks great and was moving all over. We go back in 4 weeks for a repeat ultrasound becuase she said she couldn't get all the pictures of the heart that she wanted because he was curled up. No complaints about getting to see him again!

@yesiknowwhatcausesthat , I agree about feeling a little alone! But now that we're sooooooooo close it doesn't seem that bad. Every time someone posted an alligator/spider looking early sonogram I was a little jealous.
